This Ford Everest just like the previous generation is setting the bar really high again as the first one to release their “next gen”. Hopefully this will push the competition to step up their game especially in the amenities and creature comfort side, not just bumping their pricing.
Most features found in this next gen were already available in the previous gen but this time made it even better. Awesome review as usual Kyle, you’ve got that DougDelMuro vibe.

The steering feel of this everest is on par or better than a Honda brio which is nuts, when I drive a Fortuner I never thought that the steering feel of that car is heavy much heavier than the Navara steering feel

Another great car review. I have the previous generation 3.2L and I loved it. Although the love is conditional because the warranty is over. Had so many warranty claims on that one. Would you know if the new generation everest is still full time 4wd like the previous gen? Also, any news if Ford Philippines will bring in the V6 diesel version like the ones they have in Australia?

@@KyleLiongCars it could be more expensive than the 2.0 biturbo but it'll surely change the game in the PPV segment. Last time PH had a V6 in a PPV though was when Mitsubishi offered a 3.8 liter V6 in the Gen 3 Pajero.

IMO, MU-X has the best seats in the segment. If only it has the Refinement of Everest, it would be almost World Class in my book.

It’s wide but not raptor wide. So still decent in that sense. And the 360 camera definitely helps a lot

It’s interesting. Here in Australia they scrapped the titanium bumped it up to the platinum. This looks like the platinum with the matrix LEDs and power rear seats but with the 2.0L instead of the 3L engine. I wonder if your emission standards wouldn’t allow for the 3L?
I think it's more of a price issue. Customers here already find the top trim to be a bit steep. Bumping it up to the 3.0 might not make it competitive. Anyways, the 2.0 provides more than enough power for our small roads here. I bet they'll offer us the 3.0 as a special limited release model in the future.
It is economic reasons. Their dollar is not as strong, so a 2.0L keeps the price within reason

Those are real vents.
side vents are primarily for mid-engined cars. on some high performance cars, they help with downforce and airflow. on all other applications (everest included), they're just there for aesthetics- like those fake vent stickers you can buy at shoppee.

Got mine 3 weeks ago in that beautiful equinox bronze too! Loving it a lot. Very comfortable, looks great and the tech features really makes you feel fresh and young😅😂. Ang modern kasi! Not to mention the ford pass app is the best implementation yet sa PH ng remote start. You can basically start the car and the acu wherever you are! Ang useful for people like me na nasa field palagi
could you disable the remote start feature? Hard to trust tech like that once you've seen the vulnerabilities in systems especially when it gets older and outdated.
