@saimanhussaini2010 well High Sierra is newer than El Capitan so if you’re trying to run the installer then it would show that message. Have I misunderstood what you meant?
Ok so if you're trying to run the upgrade for El-Cap on this High Sierra machine, then you would get the error message. Can you make a video on how to fix mac with “?” And it won’t boot up? Even CMD + R wouldn’t work. Thanks.
Yeah I could, though usually that means either it can't find the operating system or the disk (usually the former)
So I downloaded from your recommended Archive Link, But since its not from a trusted source it wont let me put it on my usb. I dont know what to do
You might try right clicking the installer and hitting “Open” that was to launch it first. When it launches it will probably ask if you’re sure you want to open it because it can’t verify the source. Say yes. After it tells you whether it can can run on your system (even if this isn’t the system to run it on) you can close the installer and try running the app or Terminal commands again
@@EasyOSX I finally got it to go onto the flash drive but NOW the issue I'm having is when placed into the older iMac and holding down 'Option' while booting, the USB doesn't show up as an option to boot from. Am I using the wrong type of flash drive??
Many thanks😊
Trying to install the osx from web browser and it says I don’t have enough storage even though I’ve cleared out stuff using disk utility. Any suggestions?
There’s an app you can download called GrandPerspective. Give it access to your drive, let it scan, and it will tell you what’s taking up space.
grandperspectiv.sourceforge.net/
Thank you.
big thanks
Hey Guys, my mac says after the unzipping process: ...couldnt be extracted. Error 1 This is not allowed.
This is just an translatet from german, so I dont know if its 100% correct, but you might understand the meaning.
Do anyone have a solution?
Macbook pro 5,1 from late 2008
What version of Mac OS are you running (for example: Mac OS 10.8, “Mountain Lion”)? Also, are you downloading the package from the Apple site or from the Internet Archive
Hey thanks for your answer. Its Mountain Lion, but i already found another way. But thank you very much!
Well glad you got it working!

That’s very kind of you to say. Thank you
I got it downloaded. I got it to open. I open the installer, it bounces once then closes. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Just so I’m clear, are you trying to run the installer to upgrade the OS on the machine or is it when trying to make a flash drive it does this?
@@EasyOSX Sorry. I solved that problem. I didn't wait for full extraction. I had to use Terminal to make it go. Now it says the "Application is too old to be opened on this version of OSX." I'm running it on a 2015 MacBook Pro with system 10.13.6. I've never had these problems before. Such a headache.
@wabafreeman5137 was this the one from Apple or the one from Internet Archive?
I need to make a bootable usb drive but all my downloads fail to install. Anything I can try? I only have a Macbook Pro running MacOS Sonoma now
What tool are you using to make a El Capitan boot drive? The Terminal, Disk Creator X, or something else?
@@EasyOSXman do you have discord or something please I need help with my almost 8 yrs old MacBook Pro I don't know what to do PLEASEEE I don't want to mess this thing up
@GageLayton I don’t have a Discord for this site, but I’ve got other option like Twitter, Insta, FB, Threads, and Mastodon.
Does it work if Iam geting error 403, and can’t reinstall os.?
Sounds like it’s having trouble connecting to the network and trying to network boot. Double check your date and time are correct and run the upgrader or try the bootable flash drive method
Finally fixed it, but i had troubles to make bootable usb. After 10 try’s it’s actually worked
doesnt even allow me to download the pkg, says require mac os x
What OS are you running right now
I cannot even type the links in and safari says that it can’t open the page 😢
Well that’s not good. Is it that no webpages will load or the machine actually won’t register your key presses on the keyboard?
Which is the link for a 2016 macbook
Unfortunately the link is down as the Internet Archive is down so the full downloader is inaccessible at the moment.
What if I can’t access the internet because safari says it cannot establish a secure connection
What part of the process are you getting that error in? If you can use another browser like Firefox or Chrome, does it give you the same problem?
mine did that as well use chrome
Thank you, it's very helpfull :)
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you!!!!
El Capitan in theory should be the best version of osx to run OpenEMU
Can’t say I’ve tried it, but I’d be interested to hear your thoughts as to why?
hi guys, I need the Terminal Code pleas help me
Sorry this apparently got missed. What Terminal code exactly are you missing?
Thanks!!!!!!!!
internet arcive is closed. what now
It’s down, but not out to be fair. I’m hoping it will come back online soon. I might still have a copy that I can post somewhere, but that’ll take me a bit to find
Ok
Im trying to Reinstall El Capitan on an imac 7.1
Because the Admin Password was lost i couldnt even Install El Capitan and create a boot USB
So i boot Into Recovery
Erased the HDD with all the User Accounts
Then i tried to Reinstall Mac OS El Capitan
But since a few years This IS Not possible because the Recovery will Download from the app Store
And AS shown in This Video IT IS taken Out of the App Store
Thats realy one of the wirst Things Apple IS doing to customers
AS shown you cant Download a boot Version on Mac M1 or Mac m2
So you need to find Someone with an old Mac , or you Install Not from Apple Website
Thats crazy , because Apple IS making euch a big Thing to protect customers and their systems
In This Case ITS a lie
So the only Chance to Reinstall IS from a boit Stick
And This boot Stick i have to create in a Friends Macintosh running El Capitan
Absolutely crazy
In my Case the only apologize for Apple IS the fact that i dont have the admin PW
But that i cant Download and Set Up a El Capitan boot Installer on a new Macintosh m2 is absolutely crazy
You can save everything in Clouds and Recovery IT but you cant Just get a iOS Version
Only With the boot Stick i will BE able to solve the Problem
Im Happy my friend has got the Mac running El Capitan
So then i can easily create the boot device
link is not valid any longer
Which link? I’ve tried them all and they all appear to be working for me
@@EasyOSX El capitan gives me an error to download.
@therealmilowerx From which link though? Apple’s download link or the Internet Archive’s link?

Sì, ecco perché devi ottenere la versione completa dal link "Internet Archive" nella descrizione.
