Lol stand on one spot at the height you need and flatten around you. Only move when you have the height you need in front and around you. Otherwise, dig down, step in hole then proceed again. It bases the level off character location.
its easier to use the raise dirt tool. It makes perfect little squares.

Yea not really that hard if people build things like that with debugmode on to be honest. All it takes is time, patience and of course creativity.

DUDE! I just spent like 20 hours flattening the ground and building a pretty big mead hall. But it's tiny compared to this project.
I will use this as inspiration for my future buildings.

I would if it didnt lag so much on multi player. Its fine solo but the second someone joins my save the fps drops to like 10. They really need to fix that. Once they do ill invite people to play.

Not saying you should do this but out of curiosity couldn’t you theoretically upload your world save somewhere for people to download with all your buildings saved? I think that would be pretty cool if you could download and add other people’s worlds to world list. Also would kinda create a niche community where people could create “NPC-sequel” villages and buildings and new seeds for people to play fresh a play through on, just a thought.
I found a nice seed that I want to build a Tavern and little village in and then send it to my friend to play from the start!

Dude, do you play 24/7?? I mean this game is new, I play for few weeks and only killed 2 bosses, have around 100 hours played, and I'm just getting to know how to build decent looking things, but this? This is insanely beautyfull and rich. 210hrs into this town only would be like a month 8hrs a day

i subbed i lvoe the idea of a village, i'm creating one myself, i've got my boat house & storage finished and my blacksmith.. Next up is a harbor with a boat building area where i'll lay down a crafted boat made out of wooden beams and such, then i need my main house, tavern, farm and the church thing is a nice idea! i love the basement in the tavern i have a similiar idea! the fishermens hut was also very good! cheers man keep it up! i subbed

Did you all notice on minute 9:47 that a player named "XERFERIN" falls to his death from the top of the Minas Titrith looking castle while on fire? Clearly a reference to the end of the Seneschal of Gondor, Denethor. Well played, Sir Six Addams!
Im so happy you noticed that! It was absolutely a Denethor reference done on purpose. Me and Xerf had been waiting for someone to mention it. It cracked us up. you can here me almost start to laugh when I say "thanks for watching" lol
It is a beautiful build, but you need some hovels for the peasants to stay in.
Just found your channel, and really enjoying your videos. Your attention to detail, and the way you find new ways to use items and turn them into so many creations is inspiring. I have to agree, you need to be working for a game company designing levels, or something. I also really appreciate that you have all the little stories for each location. One word I keep see popping up in comments is wholesome, and I have to agree. You seem like a really decent cat, and you make great vids without all of the usual youtube tropes and clickbaity titles. For single player It would be so cool if they added 'hirelings' to the game where you could hire NPCs to go out and gather things, or make things. And if they added 'Followers/companions' to help you fight and adventure with you. I think I would feel a bit lonely after a while in the world otherwise.

i have a couple of builds on my friends servers im working on. One castle has the most amazing duel curving stair case grand entrances that ive ever seen, and soon i will be building an elven style out post for another friend.

See I start trying to build cool towns like this and them my friend watches Firespark81 build an auto boar farm and builds it right in my town. This is why, this is why we can't have nice things. 10/10 build though amazing town.
I uber picky on letting anyone build on my personal map. I like things to flow and basic square structures with no nordic theme creates an eyesore and ruins the vibe. I just play on a multiplayer server and transfer 25-50% of the resources I farm there, back to my own map.

Just a hint, but Vikings didn't have graveyards. Today law dictates we have to cremate, but our tradition is burning the dead. The most known tradition for honoring the dead being putting them on a boat with a bonfire.
There are a few examples of viking graves though, but they are usually hid away to prevent graverobbers. Graveyards is actually more of a Christian thing.
Yea i wanted to add a diablo vibe to the town. I think im just actually going to try to make Tristram from Diablo in a future video.
How did you get a hearth to sit on wood in your tavern?

grave markers should be 2 piles of stone next to each other if you want period accuracy. Vikings though, generally didn't bury their dead, they burned them. The term "viking funeral refers to sending out a man on their boat and lighting the boat on fire. That was the generally accepted tradition, but obviously exceptions existed. Another popular method of the time would be to build a bonfire and burn the body.
I'm very curious why you dont' use the hoe to tamp out the grass through the stone.
I'm assuming you built this in debug or had lots of friends farming? I'm currently building my giant ass castle city as well, it's lagtastic but will be a while before it's done since I'm farming it legit.
Is the castle also just a ton of iron support beams or are you modding with valheim+? it doesn't look like the physics are standard because it looks like stuff should be falling off.
Yea I think the piles of stone would be better. I like the graveyard tho even though I know vikings didnt use them. It gives of kind of a Diablo style.
@@SixAddams it still boils down to choice, I just figured since you were going with "not crosses" you might also be going for authentic viking, but either way it's a nice build :)
