@@esca_nor3846 not really, I’m not 100% sure if he did this with legitimate resources or not but either way it was cool to see and gave me ideas for my own projects. It takes a lot more talent to design this than to grind resources for days so I’m impressed either way. This game has a bit of something for everyone so if you prefer practical smaller builds I’m sure there’s videos for that as well somewhere that are just as cool in their own way.
@@graham_5609 Yeah everyone got their own taste, I basically stick to buildings that looks like literal old viking houses. I probably post of video of my town aswell some day... im also around day 200 on solo, finished the game at around day 100 and have been building since then. Currently working on a pretty dope Stone Half-Moon Circle for all of my portals
@@graham_5609 but I kind of doubt that 280 days would be enough to farm so much stone... on the other hand, he's not alone and they still stick to silver gear... so probably have been farming 90% of the time

The developers should implement this castle into the game - it's insane. So good
That Means players lost their ability to build a base if they can just conquer this place instead of building one... kinda defeats the purpose of building a base
@@FEURVERM for some people that sounds like an absolute win. i know people who arent fans of building but love the bosses / progression / exploration of the game, conquering a castle to claim as your own would be right up there alley. and likely a very difficult challenge
You deserve more credit for this. THIS IS INSANE. Please build Helms Deep. And build Rohan because it’s sorta that village Viking style.

There is a debugmode which allows you to build without the stone/tree grind

This is truely inspiring!! I gotta know, did you gather the Materials for all this? And Did you use the fly mod?
let's see... the castle, at it's lowest level, has about 20 of those battlements. that means about a 40 block by 40 block hexagon footprint. Roughly counting, the height is about 34 of those 2x4 stone wall blocks, so it's about 68 blocks tall. In the ROUGHEST sense, it's a pyramid, so the volume is about 94223 blocks. Now the rooms aren't exactly big, but if we assume a 3x3x3 room on average including all the passageways and halls, we get about 37/64 blocks filled within. So if we take that, we get about 55000 blocks worth of material. Averaging density between the 1x1 blocks (3), the 2x1 blocks (4), and the 4x2 blocks (6), by the ratios of 2 to 1 to 1, we get 2.2 stones per block, meaning a total of around 120,000 stone. Each chest can hold 50*10 stone, meaning a 500 stone, meaning you dug through around 240 chests worth of stone to build this castle. Even if we assumed about 1/3 of the volume was just the mountain, you'd still have gone through 160 chests.
I assume most people do builds this size with admin commands.

It took me about 5 full days. like 50 hours at least. This is only the half of it though. i just finished a whole city the starts at the end of the castle bridge. ill be making a video tour of that in a day or two.
could you show us how you made the foundation so strong? I watched the other video on using Iron gate but is there more you did?

how did you reach this really high level with stones ? My structure keep breaking at a certain height level .
If you haven't received an answer yet, I believe you can use reinforced wood beams inside stone to significantly increase your stacking ability.

Yea i tryed to make one, but my problem is I destroy and rebuild things very often before I get a building to where I want it to be. I experiment a lot. It dosnt make for a very good time lapse.
