I usually do an exterior shell but I've never tried a full foundation... Now I'm honestly curious... Usually my buildings arent that big though so I doubt it's worth it, usually I just build a small circle hut and that's plenty.

Couldn't figure out the construction thats needed to built stone ground on the upper floor. Always gets red and distroed by itself. Even when I built a wood construction under it. Any advice?

    • @stlhkp3803

in case this was was never solved, you need to use iron support beams on the bottom sides of the stone, you can then lay the wood beams over the top of them.

Another awesome build. I didn't think I'd like the idea, but I grew to like the more functional idea of this one as everyone can relate to this house being that we are all crafters or Blacksmith's in a way. So reasons to love this build even more. I liked how you ended up carving out a basement which was awesome. I kinda wish though you showed a before and after of it so it could be seen what you did with the basement as it would look like just another unrecognized room if you weren't aware. What I've learned from you most is "framing" from all these videos. The decore is more individual creativity.

I recently copied this build myself. I switched out the regular wood posts for iron posts in a few spots with the frame to properly support the roof and upper structures and that did the trick. I did the build in Creative Mode to be sure it would hold up. The only place I have nearly red blocks is the stone ceiling or stone floor where the bedroom is. The rest is pretty stable.
