Thank you! I built this house for the most part. Changed the stairs to a spiral staircase from the basement to the 2nd level. Then made the basement expand underneath to the kitchen/bar area. Just put the long core wood for vertical supports. Was able to fit 2 blast furnaces, 3 smelters, 2 kilns, fully upgraded forge, fully upgraded workstation, a bunch of chests, and 3 looms down there.
I’m tempted to try to get the basement underneath the the 1st floor forge area, but I’m scared of the stone floor collapsing

    • @AoBaiGaming

I recently copied this build myself. I switched out the regular wood posts for iron posts in a few spots with the frame to properly support the roof and upper structures and that did the trick. I did the build in Creative Mode to be sure it would hold up. The only place I have nearly red blocks is the stone ceiling or stone floor where the bedroom is. The rest is pretty stable.

@@claytonwalker4551 I definitely recommend doing the build in Creative Mode first before doing it in your actual game simply so you don't waste resources like iron where you don't need to. This is an example of how a combination of simple things may result on very good buildings, no need to become crazy or to try too weird things. To my personal taste, I don't like excessively framed roofs, they're so cool when those frames are a detail but lose all their charm when they become a patron. But that's just my personal preference. Very nice job (I'm an experienced and grumpy builder, more "grumpy" than "experienced" or "builder", so I don't say this so often haha)

in case this was was never solved, you need to use iron support beams on the bottom sides of the stone, you can then lay the wood beams over the top of them.
