    Amazing build! One question with the smelters. How did you manage to squeeze them into such a tight spot? I was able to place them, but then I cant get the walls and such around them, seems the smelters are too big.

    • @davereilly8361
      @davereilly8361 Год назад

      The world has a grid, and if you work in line with the grid it can fit just so. It might take you a couple tries to get it right. It sometimes helps to build the one wall and place the smelter tight to it.

    I’m curious as to how you manage stability, do you just have poles poking horizontally out into the ground once you reach ground level so the above ground sections draw stability from that? You also use poles as foundation and put floors on top, does that reduce stability by one as the walls are on top of the poles instead of the floor or does it bypass through a hidden mechanic?

    Only thing I would personally add to this is a hole to throw ore down into. You can collect it when you get to the basement and throw it into the smelters, rather than having to go up and down the stairs.

    Nice, but not worth it... Trust me, you never want to do smelting underground. Have forges etc as close to your docks as possible. Working with so many forges and moving lots of mats makes you overcumbered most of the time. Moving mats over stairs will get irritating very fast... Make all workstations and forges in the reach of the chests you will use for mats (from both sides)... Nice base, but not usefull for actual play.
