This is what I think every time I see these builds. They're beautifully executed and are great mines of ideas, but the context is unrealistic unless we're to believe that there is a stone wall and trench just off camera.
The troll friends is not aiming for your house, they're aiming you, your friends and your animals. You're just running out of a fragile building, and either into sturdy one, or just running around for 1.5 mins. As an insurance during my build, I created a stone circle with shooting platform somewhere 20 meters away. Never used it, though.
That's why I built my base on the stone spires in the plains no enemies ever show up not even deathsquitos and I'm right next to a tar pit with loves bathing in it or that's what it looks like
Awesome! The chimney doesn’t need the walls behind the X pieces to stop smoke. It’s nice to spend time renovating and decorating to relax after murderous expeditions.

I would love to see you explaining how you did all those incredible things
I built this simple house today as an inspired version in-game and close by another inspired version of the Docks vid you also did in meadows. The Docks recreation was a mixed version of sorts of your Docks from Vid and the one from NotGerald Blacksmith Dock I combined together in inspiration build. And it's a lovely house. What took me the longest was exactly deciding where exactly to build the house as I couldn't quite decide at first, but eventually decided close to the docks but not too close. Enjoyed the interior decor of the house in the vid.

I learned a great deal as well, how some simple beams are capable of separating a huge hall into different bits of perfectly sized rooms, how tables and chairs are always good fillers for that extra level of cozyness, the difference a tree or 2 can make to the outside, as well as that 3 Beam Fence. Once again, thank you, I'm trying to get some friends to buy Valheim since thus far I've had to experience this great game by myself, and if we do make a map, know that we will live in a home worthy of the name, thanks to you.
Watching this video makes me think im lacking, I have zero interior design skills, and I go full functionality over aesthetics. Now I want to build this.
Lovely work :) You've given me some ideas on my next builds. About my only criticism would be the interior work spaces, especially the inside forge. You wouldn't work with hot metal and the resulting noise and mess in the same place you eat and sleep. And the storage in the place is a bit haphazard for survival use, although that probably depends on the style of the person using it. I do especially love the use of paths outside to define the outside of the house and give it some extra contrast with the surrounding countryside. using the wood fences and placed grass to narrow them was very clever too. I'm definitely stealing that.
The results are gorgeous, but it would be nice if you could include some audio with explanations of what you're doing, how you're doin it, and your thought process behind it, since it is a "how to" video. I want some insight into your genius :p
I really hope they improve the leveling and landscaping system. There is so much dead time getting ground raised and flattened. Beautiful build, love the simplicity of the rough.

I love all your builds, but I must say that this one, in all simplicity is one of my favourites! Did you manage to hide some crafting upgrades, or did you just do enough to make it look nice?
The decay ruins it for me for most outside decorations... Maybe if the devs added wood varnish or something as an item we can make to stop having to have everything under a roof...
Its incredible that in a game produced by four people, you can build structures better than the 200 strong team of World of Warcraft can design. This game is truly amazing. Exactly what I have wanted since I started playing games. I just love being in the world they have created. All they have to do is allow us to turn off the raids if we want and I will be deleting every other game from my system.

Hey you guys should try decorating with some of the meads and potions as well! The frost resistance mead looks awesome and gives off a blue glow.
I always overlook this! They look great aswell.

Mine won't let me put foods on the item stands ?? I like that you put the forge and crafting station upgrades in places that make sense:)
