I just started youtube (posted my first video yesterday to be exact hahah) and I really love editing but omg being one of the external auditors at Big 4 is really taking a toll on me and my schedule 😪 but thank you for the tips! Hopefully I can achieve my work life balance soon 🥺
You got this! It can definitely be hard with full time work - I understand, but whenever you do get the time, try and work on it bit by bit :) I suppose you would do most of your editing over the weekends? Wish you all the best with it! The hustle is real aye!
it's SO HARD! I have a full time job but I work shifts so I feel like it's even harder because I can't say for example 'every Tuesday evening I will dedicate to RUclips for example'. Feels like a lot of stolen minutes!
This can be hard, but all you can do is to make the most of it where and when you can. If that means you cannot work on your RUclips bc of work then unfortunately you will need to work around that. Hopefully you won't be doing shift work for long and can soon get into a routine! Try auditing yourself as well by writing down all your tasks in a day and time spent on it to really understand where you may be able to fit in a few extra minutes. Good luck but don't be too hard on yourself either!

I love seeing people who have that grind, I'm starting a new job soon so I'll be doing 4 days there and 2 days at my supermarket job, so 6 days per week, plus gym and study! Looking forward to the grind

Okay but I don’t have the luxury of working from home with my day job. I have to get up, get ready, drive to work, remember to eat in there somewhere, work from 9-5 and then drive home find food, okay now it’s 6 o’clock, and now I’ve gotta take a shower and get ready for bed and I’m exhausted.
I'm all about cutting losses lmao - 2 way street is so important!!! I'm so bad at being strict with my time tho - finding it so hard to not binge watch Netflix haha
hahah yep! Yeah trust me I struggled too! It's a process which will happen over time lol.

You are right though, you get back what you put in so you do have to treat it like a business, deadlines are the way to go
