Hi, Awesome video, nuff Love from Jamaica. How do I find AI in Focus Newsletter please 06:34, I am only seeing an article on Linkedln. I am in Love with the Ticking the Box method, I just tried it and it feels amazing, I'm gonna give it a shot.
❤❤ thanks for care your audience.
This summarized help me recap more easily.
@@Best.sri_8114 No problem!
If you're going out clubbing, and you're drinking as well, drink some electrolytes before you go out, and again when you get back. It'll absolutely help you with recovery in the morning. If you drink really hard, even have one prepared for the morning. This is assuming you don't do this already as it wasn't mentioned in the video.
Jeff’s calendar: morning routine from 6h30 to 7h00am. Also Jeff 0:07 : alarm going off and waking up at 7h00. Finally a morning routine I feel I am able to follow! 😂
So I usually wake up at 6AM but i didn't want to start the video off like that in case I receive comments like "wow another tryhard" LOL
Dear Jeff. I just hope you don't stop posting videos. You helped me a lot throughout my productivity journey. Like you, I also hate complex productivity stuff which I always see to other productivity gurus out there. I really like how your whole productivity system focuses on getting things done instead of making things pretty and complex.
I hope to never stop posting videos as well 😁
This video speaks to my soul man! You get even less time when you become a parent. Full time work, dad time, and RUclips channel. My 3 juggling balls right now 😂 I definitely use the McDonald's habit by listening to important podcasts in the car.
I CANNOT imagine doing this as a parent!
I love Jeff videos ,he SIMPLIFY things that you are able to apply . “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” Will definitely apply those simple time management tips.
Woohooo thank you!
Stellar work as always, Jeff. Saving this one so I can return to it because I know I'll be able to learn and implement something new each time.
Thank you so much! Come back anytime 😁
The Tinder app at the beginning got a good chuckle out of me
It got a tear from me 🥲
My brother, I am a sucker for these types of videos to help me be the best “me” in my daily work and content creation balance. I want to say thank you for making this high quality video with everything so organized. While it is a reminder that I am currently doing awful with this stuff, it has lit a fire under my ass so thank you sir!
No problem!
Hi Jeff! I love these real life time management videos. Thank you for sharing your tips (and your awesome jokes!) with us ❤
Glad you enjoyed the jokes Mariana 😁
I hope you continue with your channel. Not only is it great content but gets me motivated every time i watch one of your videos!
That's what I love to hear!!
I honestly have never felt that a video or any advice has described me this accurately... ever. I can relate to each and every point. I haven't been diagnosed, but I am convinced that I have ADHD and that it is making things extremely difficult for me. I really appreciate this video. I feel like you explained my own situation to me and gave me great advice to manage it. Thank you.
No problem my friend!
When watching self-help RUclips videos, I normally speed them up to at least 1.5 times. But this one had me fascinated with the info and cuteness overload, I had to slow down the clip. Great tips, especially #2 and #7, Jeff! 😘
I'm flattered 😂
Precious advice Jeff! Thanks for the input. What I find more challenging in my 40s is to balance out on top of it all work and RUclips plus health, family and friends.
Jeff,
Your videos have helped me immensely during my journey as a young professional in the IT space. Everything from being more organized, creating systems to manage my professional and personal life, and helping with my ADHD, your videos are a lifesaver. Please never stop creating, and thank you so much for all this amazing content!
Will do!
This is the first of your videos I have stumbled across (thank you algorithm) and what i like is that you don't pretend you can do and be everything. You are realistic and the suggestions are actually very actionable and modifiable. Which instead of being a 1 and done means that I have the thought that there might be more tips lurking in other videos that can be used. It is far to easy to get overwhelmed by the unrealistic over achievers, so this is a refreshing change for a productivity video.
Thanks so much and I"m glad you stumbled onto my videos too 😁
Jeff, you’re amazing! Your content is ACTUALLY useful and 0 seconds of my time wasted.
That's what I LOVE to hear!
Thanks again Jeff! Always great and timely videos! I love the idea to bring in God's eye views into workflows, stepping back to see a big picture always helps with intentionality!
For sure Gavin!
you are the best and this is my first ever comment on RUclips. I like the balanced and simplified 80/20 approach to being effective with everything.
Woohooo thanks for leaving me your first ever comment 😁
I watch productivity videos EVERYDAY! This has been some of the best tips I have seen, thanks so much!
Woohooo! That's what I love to hear 😁
I just want to reach out and say that your videos have been a great help in developing my career and skillset. I was an Executive Chef for about 15 years, and became reasonably proficient with managing finances, product development, implementing processes, mise-en-place, and team cultivation. However, I had no actionable way of taking my previous experience and applying it effectively in different industries.
Your videos have provided realistic systems and strategies that have allowed me to bridge that gap and become more effective.
Thank you so much!
Woohooo thank you!!! And welcome to the membership circle 😁
Jeff is a true gem. I learn at least one majorly life-impacting thing in all his videos. Thanks Jeff!
That's what I LOVE to hear!! 😁
Hey Jeff, your content is so compelling that I feel reluctant to close the tab even after finish watching the video (because every video is so well made and insightful that worth revisiting) (The FOMO is real!) I have a handful of your videos open in my Chrome right now - no joke!
Woohoooo thank you my friend 😁
You put into context how your main tips tie together on a daily routine, and you did it in a funny way! Fantastic! Many valuable tips! But remember to take care of your mental well-being. We often cling to goals, trying to reach to pre-defined ends and seeing things in between as obstacles that need to be solved, however, life is what happens in-between. That is why an atelic approach can lead to much more satisfaction.
Glad you found my jokes funny 😁
Thank very much Jeff. I am from Germany and ive seen a lot of productivity videos and this one is by far the best, very helpfull and realistic
Glad to hear it! 😁
Awesome video - so many actionable tips. My favorite and underrated one is "The Recovery Forecast" as it humanizes productivity that we all got to drink/have fun sometimes as we're grinding, we just got to be intentional about going out and recovering (+ use some liquid iv!). Thank you Jeff! 🤝
FOR SURE 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Hi Jeff, I love your "Think Outside the Box" video series. It's been a huge help to me in my work. I'd love to see you make some new videos in the series, sharing your latest experiences and insights.
Thanks for letting me know!
Love all your tips! Most than all how you are realistic with habits that we can really stick with! Thanks
Thanks, but maybe wrong video? 😂
Excellent tips Jeff thanks for sharing, and also thanks for making this productivity tips enjoyable and practical to carry out
You're welcome!! 😁
This is GOLD!! New subscriber and joining. Thank you, Jeff, for sharing these tips and resources!.
Wooohooo welcome!
I have a full time 6 figures IT job, a dad, doing DoorDash/grubhub with a bike on the side, and trading the stock market part time etc. so this video is so relatable to me
Dam, that's A LOT to balance my friend! Take care of your mental health!
Your time management tips were incredibly helpful and I'm already applying some of them to my daily routine. Thank you for sharing your experiences and insights.
Woohooo glad to hear it!
Just today I thought that your previous video was released long time ago! And here you are with a new one!🔥🔥🔥
YEssir 😁
oh my gosh! Your inbox zero gmail video is now private! That video changed my life, and I wanted to get my new employee trained on your method but couldnt find the video. I clicked on the one linked in this video bio but its private! I loooooove your content! Let me know if theres a way to access that genius gift to the world. Fingers crossed! Wishing you continued success!!
My previous inbox zero videos are outdated now unfortunately 😅. BUT subscribers to my (free) Workspace Toolkit receive regular invitations to my live workshops, and Inbox Zero is one of the topics!
The concept of 'ticking the box' with checklists for daily tasks was a game-changer. It's amazing how such a simple tool can bring so much efficiency and reduce errors. Incorporating this into my routine could definitely help me stay on track.
I know right??
Valuable and informative as always. Cool editing too ❤🎉
Thank you my friend 😁! I have an awesome editor helping me out!
I love your videos and energy in them!
Thanks for posting this! "God-Eye View" is definitely going to enter my vocabulary 😂
Hahaha glad to hear it 😁
Hi Jeff, I watched your videos both on RUclips and Red. They're just amazing and it helped me a lot. I just want to say thank you.
Woohooo that's what I love to hear! You're welcome!
Came across your video on my feed so my first time watching you and it’s very well made with solid recommendations, principles and takeaways. But I will say your solutions lean more towards an intermediate/advanced audience and less someone who’s starting out or doesn’t know about a lot of the tools and apps you use for creating checklists etc... it’s different to the other self improvement, productivity and efficiency hacking content out there. More like the content you’d get when you actually pay for a course and not the surface level free trial stuff which is very refreshing. What this does inspire though is wow there’s another level to this and for me to check out your other videos to piece together the foundations to get there. Long winded way to say you just got a new subscriber lol
Great feedback, thanks for letting me know 😁
Love your videos! So helpful! and the Anti-Mc Donnalds analogy is something not spoken of enough, our brains do need a breather! The one thing I'll offer as a different approach is referenced at 5:00 where you say to start with your "oldest email", I would argue that if you work a job where most of your emails are from the same internal people, then start with the Newest! This is because information changes. People will send followup email that explain changes that wouldn't make sense if you start with the oldest email, and this also saves time when working through many emails as you've already replied to the newest conversation.
Great points Matt, thank you! So for my job, starting with the newest could be problematic since I lose a lot of the context from the initial emails 😅
@JeffSu, I'm here to say "Thank You". I had to do a lengthy n difficult PowerPoint within 3 days n your PP video helped me a lot, I used the sites you recommend n I was able to produce a quality output. Thank you so much. Please keep doing what you're doing👏, you have no idea what a great blessing you are to many. God bless u
This is what I love to hear!! Best of luck!
Nice words
Awesome video. I’m currently trying to balance my full time job, CAPM certification training, and my side business. I need to setup my calendar better and work on capturing things!
Wow that's a lot! Best of luck!!
The funniest productivity RUclipsr on RUclips! Love your content so so much, thank you! :D
No arguments from me 😁
Hey Jeff, long time fan and follower! I've gotten to a place where I'm organized enough to start taking notes on videos and adding them into my Second Brain. This was the first I chose from my watchlist! (4588 videos to go haha)
Love being number 1 :)
Great video, thanks for the insights! The god’s eye view could be a game changer for me. Great idea, thanks!
No problem! Glad to be of service 😁
I will from today on always make a random comment and like your video just to support you because literally everything that i know on linkedin tips and tricks is from you. So thank you brother, hugs
Hahaha thank you so much!!
The 0 notifications on Tinder took me out
As always you’re straightforward, useful, with enough wit to keep me engaged. Watching the AI video next!
Haha thank you Jessica, glad you enjoyed the jokes as well as the tips 😂. Let me know what you think of the AI video!
Some great tips. I use most of these myself helping my build my RUclips channel and other projects. Build your own discipline and habits, and create the right mindset.
Exactly!
I like this one, Jeff. Great advice!
Woohooooo thanks my friend 😁
@JeffSu Great video. Can't believe you prioritize your health given your busy schedule, it's a sign of high intelligence to have great priorities like that.
Thought your video was very honest and useful (scheduling recovery time after a night of partying is realistic).
My travel checklist is essential, so great suggestion there.
Thanks for the tips.
Thank you so much! And yes, my parents have long ago taught me that nothing matters if I don't have my health!
@@JeffSu They sound like wise people.
I needed this video because I was so unorganized with planning my busy days.
Did this video help?
Loved this! Thank you!
You're welcome 😁
Thanks dude, so many useful tips
You're very welcome 😁
I just realize that I commented on your short about the checklist you have on calendar. 😅
I'm now watching the full video. 😊
Awesome 😁
Congrats on 600k followers! You deserve 10x that!
Hahaha thank you my friend 😁
Aeesome! Thank you Jeff!!!
You're extremely welcome 😁
Great tips Jeff - enjoy your videos.
My pleasure 😁
Really love your videos Jeff. 🎉
Thanks so much!!!
Hay Jeff, I am a new subby to your channel, WOW so much informintive,. thank you for all these tips. I never even knew about Bard. Im taking notes on all this value!!!
Thank you for this channel!!!!!!
Welcome!!!
Thanks Jeff, some distilled ideas, great to see - don't think your recovery time-block is stupid at all, realistic planning is what I love most about time-blocking - even when overwhelmed or with a busy brain, the automatic blocks move and help to keep space for what's important - I block out work recovery time after a big week, that space, as you also talk about, makes the recovery fit better also and more intentional
For sure!!
Love this video Jeff!! Ive been keeping my gmail inbox at zero for the past 10 years, I havent met anyone else that does this till now. 加油 keep making more :) thanks!
Wow inbox zero for 10 years! That's even longer than what I've managed Becky, congrats!
And thank you 😁
Wowww another video after a long time 😁, Perfect
I've been uploading every 2 weeks though 🥲
Amazing, Jeff👏
Thanks 😁
Jeff - the fact that you manage to get all this done - AND HAVE A DECENT SOCIAL LIFE!! Bravo!! Thanks for all the great tips!! It was alot, but it is immensely valuable! Will watch several times to digest!
So to be very honest with you my social life is not that great right now 😂
This video is super useful!!! Thanks!!!!
No problem 😁
Jeff. Your magic is consistency in action. Alternately, person can be a checklist wizard and fall down.
6:29 Too many is as bad as none.
7:03 Relevance. 7:27 specific and relevant
I do best when my calendar includes time to summarize, next move, and life essentials.
Thanks 😁
Thank for sharing this video.
No problem 😁
I usually see my supervisor's calendar like yours and I feel his is not managing his calendar but his calendar manages him. I have been looking how to be productive for a while, but now I feel the only thing that helps is to not taking so many responsiblities (to put in the context, I have finished lots of qualifictions and exams myself even after graduating from my PhD). Focus on one or two things at work and make them the best you can. You will still have job security and you will be good at what you are doing. At weekend or evenings, learn something new.
Thanks for sharing!!
Man, I Love your vids! ❤❤❤
Glad to hear it 😁
The best intro lol need a good laugh this morning 😂
Hahahahaha glad you enjoyed that!
Great content!! Thanks so much!!
You're extremely welcome!!!
Great vid as usual! Am totally with you on the cooking recipe part 😂
Hahaha i know right
This is excellent. Subscription earned 👍🏻
Woohooo welcome!!
Hey, as always, great video, thank you for helpful tips!
I've noticed you have a really nice organized google calendar, could you create a video about tips for Google calendar and bests approaches to manage events?
Yup, will do!
New Subscriber. Thank you, Jeff ❤🎉
Woohoo welcome 😁
I am 40+, and I am enjoying your videos.... it is eye-opening, especially with using tools and techniques to better oneself.
Woohoo thank you 😁
one thing that was life-changing for me was to always actually time myself - how many pages i get read per hour, what mobile phone habits waste most time (in my case, news 45m, social media 20m). Amazing how inaccurate our assumptions can be
Exactly! Totally agree with you there 😁
once again, this one is a winner ! 👍 i guess the recovery forecast and the god's eye view (which, i think, we all need one dedicated video on it 😅) are the 2 mains tips i have to implement ! thx Jeff
You're welcome! Glad to hear it 😁
@@JeffSu, I would also love to see a tutorial video on how to create a God’s Eye View spreadsheet, and one specifically for personal finances. Great video, BTW! I implemented your inbox zero method almost a year ago, and has been working great for me!
@@jeffweidmann7028 Nice!!! Inbox zero is THE BEST
Good as ever, thank you!
You're very welcome 😁
Thank You for introducing me to Bard, Its going to be productivity game changer for me
Glad to hear it my friend 😁
Dang! You do reply to all the comments! That’s commendable! Also, great content 👍🏻
Of course I do 😁
I frigging love this
I love that you love it 😁
I love your videos so much. It's very helpful.
I have a personal finances video on the channel 😁
you're so fast 😆, I just found it@@JeffSu
Great video and great content!
Thank you 😁
Wow! Efficiency perfectly presented! So glad I randomly stumbled on it. I know my well-being would benefit immediately by executing all of these strategies. Although, several are (loosely)incorporated into my long days, I definitely need assistance with the initial organization setup. I have too many saved lists (good ones)in too many different locations. S.O.S.😮💨
I know the feeling! You got this!!
Try exploring PARA SYSTEM.
I loved the video and it has super relevant information, thank you.
However, I think the problem for 99% of people is a lack of discipline (at least on my part). So, I'd like to congratulate you on your work, and above all, on your discipline (not least because those biceps are already starting to copy Matt Davela).
Btw thanks for dedicating a lot of your time to answering all the comments, it shows how much you care about people.
That's a great point, thanks for the kind words Luis!!!
New subscriber here! I enjoy watching your productivity videos!
Woohooo welcome 😁
these notion tips are amazing
Glad to hear it 😁
Amazing!!!
Thanks 😁
Another great video, Jeff! Question for you - Do you book your tasks individually on your calendar (+ allot the time based on the item), or do you schedule a generic time block for tasks and let the specifics live in your project/task management software? Thanks!
the latter 😁
the best tm video by far
Glad to hear it!
Hey Jeff, great videos as always. Do you know of a way to connect a check list to your calendar? like adding the checklist to the morning routine?
Not using Google Calendar :(
Awesome Jeff, Can you make a video on organising notion similar to your google drive video (0-5) hierarchy 😊
I'll be doing a Notion notes video soon!
Thanks!
No, THANK YOU my friend 😁
Happily retired and still want to be productive. Thanks for the great tips .Enjoyed the video.
Glad to hear it 😁
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my RUclips channel 8 months ago about self development. Now I have 854 subs and > 400 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
Woohooo congrats my friend! I still remember sitting on 10 views a day so trust me when I tell you you're gonna succeed 😁
@@JeffSu Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but I can say that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my RUclips channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a RUclipsr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this RUclips thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)
@@nathananderson8720 That's so inspirational, thanks for making my day 😁
Thank you! Recognizing the impermanence of life gave me the courage to start my RUclips channel. Recently, I uploaded my longest video not too long ago, which is about an hr long and it doubled the number of my subs and watch time hours and most of all, I've been impacting more lives positively and this is the best part of it all. I created this to share my opinion about these main things that truly impacted the way I live and how I became a minimalist.
It's the one most vulnerable videos that I had been hesitant to post for many months because of the fear of being misunderstood but I finally decided to overcome that fear so others can learn from my experience so we can all grow together. Remembering my why's is much more important than the analytic growth. Sometimes I get trapped in focusing on any external rewards from this channel to the point that it paralyzes me from taking actions and I think this is what makes most people not even start at all.
is there video or where i go to get more description for using chat gpt for doing those commands to be more productive- doing blogs, getting finance summary, or recipes (LOL). Love that many tips involve AI to benefit and improve productivity. Keep up the work Jeff.
Have you checked out my ChatGPT videos?
Great to see you again, youtube has been cutting you from my timeline...
Stupid RUclips 😛
Great video as usual! Will you ever share your "RUclips video" checklist? I know it's a bit more niche but I'd love to have a little behind the scenes of your workflow, from pre- to post-production and publishing!
I will probably do a video about that in the future 😁
Heyyyyy your are the BEST!!!!!
Yea I know 😉
Hey Jeff, I started watching your videos last week and undoubtedly they're really helpful, especially the ones with shortcuts, templates and time management (I had been wondering what the snooze button in Gmail is for ages !). Thanks for taking time making those videos. However, I'll have to ask if and when you delete emails, as you don't mention deleting emails but instead always archiving them.
I never delete emails because they don't take up much space (unless they have attachments)
