Anyways I'll stop that for the next few weeks or so and try and finish off 8 of the remaining 9 nether tree farm projects I have going on right now
also sorry for my mic, i'm not even kidding when i say it sounds different depending on what day of the week i record, for now i've made subtitles (closed captions) for everything
thanks yea i couldn't believe it, like the first thing i thought is why had this not been discovered alr coz vine generation has been known for like half a year or so. it's always a gift to come across something like this tho
thanks, sadly there isn't any way to influence the height that a nether tree grows to, so this trick only comes into effect when the pre-placed wart blocks are within the bottom 3 blocks of a generated huge fungus (such that when the game is generating the hat of the huge fungus, it'd check for those pre-placed wart blocks)
@@ncolyer Would having a row of warped blocks every 4 blocks that you don’t harvest increase the rates overall? Purely hypothetically speaking that is, as I realize with a tnt blast chamber such a system is probably not feasible
@@josiahdsmith5641 mhmm, you raise a good point, there might be something to that I'll have to test, what u can do tho is optimise which layer u place the bottom level of wart blocks at by analysing the most common heights for hats to generate at

i haven't made a schem for 1.17 and the world download uses some (decorative) 1.18+ blocks so it'd be tricky to convert it to 1.17, also I haven't done any testing in 1.17 so something might've changed since then which means it won't work properly in that version so sorry i don't have it what you can do, is load it in 1.18, replace all the 1.18+ blocks with stuff u can get in 1.17, e.g. deepslate for stone, then make a schemetic for it then go into 1.17 with the latest version of litematica and the schem should load fine, test it in a creative world by turning it on and tickwarping for a few irl hours and check if all the main systems are fine, i.e. it hasn't blown itself up, then u should be good to build it in survival
Hi, I tried to do the trick of the wart blocks to make the fungus grew shorter, but I don't know why it only generates it the way you show in the video like 1 every 4 times approximately. I'm in version 1.19.2 , I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong or what. So, I'm here to find any solution that anybody can give me. Thanks. :)
the height the fungi grows to is still random but if it grows to a height near ur pre placed wart blocks then itll generate those extra wart blocks in the vines region
@@capitanodisseo429 4mspt is like just what ur world uses when idle, it means 4 milli seconds per tick and if it goes above 50 then the game starts lagging
this farm is mindblowing! I do have a question tho, I'm playing on a superflat world and i dont have access to coral fans or scaffolding, is it possible to substitute it with a different design or block?
I tested multiple times on 1.9 and 1.20, it looks that there’s something wrong with the timings on the tnt chamber but probably is a fabric related problem. I’m looking forward to your next farm.
I tried the WD on 1.20 still doesn’t work there’s something weird with the tnt it looks that the first explosion push the next tnt to the wrong place and the whole thing explodes(I tried it on vanilla and fabric)

i was expecting the tech to be some crazy redstone maze but it's as simple as some carefully placed wart blocks, elegance at it's finest gj
4:05 *puts warped fungus when running crimson mode*
Jkjk glad the video is finally out, good luck with the other farms and videos
crimson was alr full dw, always good to restock on both tho :p

cheers
This is amazing! The video's also great!
ty, you're great too
Poggers update video on poggers farm
ty ice, good to finally get this done after starting it in like april lol
that said at this rate v3 should be out around february next year
Crazy trick, will very likely be used in every single NTF from now on! Does it depend on tree height or does every tree generate like that?

@@ncolyer rip. Thanks for looking into it though!
Fantastic. You see with the additional inputs to the fungus farms and the water stream, is that if you want to add optional extra fungus farms to it?
yea, in case you don't want to manually load boxes you can just run a fungus farm along side it

Nice!
Now go make in survival on Wave

Doesn’t work on 1.20, is there a fix?
it works on 1.20, maybe you built it wrong? also id suggest making daverooneys design as its a bit simpler

ok found a fix: replace the soul sand with a solid block, lemmie know if that works for you
did you have any issues with 1.19? or just 1.20?

Thanks
is this growth behaviour new? I cant seem to replicate it in 1.16.5
it should work in that version too
