How far below the regular chest range one can go with 1st subs seems to be very individual. Most seem to have more stable subs in their mid range so they connect to the chest range nicely. Personally I find it more difficult to reach the higher subs and feel much more comfortable doing subs on the absolute low end of my range. So whether Eric could actually go to a daily F0 or whether he would have difficulties below lets say Bb0 is impossible to tell unless he actually practises subs. The only indication that he may at least have a good Bb0 is that he hit an accidental Bb0 in "do not reject me in my old age".

This is really not the lowest bass that I have heard. Way back, there was this guy in our choir, and his singing voice was like what we'd call today, "vocal fry" all the way. Our choir conductor said his lowest was a G0; and if he needed to he could get it down to a F#0.
