Hauling preps to gain merits for modules is poor form; it can substantially hurt a power, especially one like Patreus which has only a small player group. Instead. The best way to get merits would be to fortify a system that already at 100% fortification, as displayed in the Galactic Powers screen. I am not a member of the Patreus group; in fact they are our opponents, but I’m sure they would appreciate it if you edited the video to inform your viewers NOT to haul prep cargo.
it shoots quite fast, runs very hot but is a lot of fun. i have them engeeniered for focused and plasma slug. i have 3 of them installed with 2 railguns longrange/ plasmaslug on my Krait. tons of fun and i never run out of ammo. kills big ships like a dream...
@@RicardosGaming yes, it gets hot fast, so either you manage to stay behind the bigger ships to cool down between shots or you run away and use the rails on them before you fly in PA range again. but if you switch between rails and PAs in close combat it should be fine. and with that i mean get used to not be concerned about having the ships at a 80 - 100/125 Celsius constantly. i tried heatsinks but maybe thats only for missions where you kill one target and the bugger off quick again...
@@Sir-Complains-a-Lot IDK... Ovens get hotter than most of those numbers until you get past broil. I thought that meter meant a higher number in temperature. The heat cap on most cars is 119-121 and that's around 250 F. I thought it would be "nuclear reactor" numbers in the game for some ships to heat up so quicker and at lower numbers than others. That's all. lol
Rapid fire is the best, shot a volley of plasmas, runs hot, but depends of the ship, Krait can handle it.. but other ships like mamba is not recommended. Is very good for small targets.
APAs work good in pairs, putting out high tempo hits firing them alternating, not together while a heatsink runs and your peak thermals are kept lower.
Krait Mk ii's hardpoint placement is terrible, especially the top ones. And i don't think it's anywhere nimble enough for them. Now a Chieftain or a Fed gunship, they would be ideal.
@@torcheddreadnought899 I mean they are ok in terms of overall raw dps, but bad in terms of what medium combat ships require. But then again the Krait Mk ii isn't supposed to be a dedicated combat ship, more of a jack of all trades. FDL, Chieftain, FGS etc, they are really what the Plasma weapons are for, or even a vulture.
I was like that. But even after I became good with those it became situational. A good pilot that knows plasma is coming will make it hell to land a shot.
Lore plus weapon comment. Now that is a sweet video if I even see one
Congratulations on your videos are too top , save here for the community in Brazil🇧🇷
Cheers dude

will totall y try that out - how are you handling heat - or are you just being careful?

Perhaps this gun would be good on a Vulture, maybe there's some heat reduction engineering I could do.

the salvation guardian advanced plasma is a 3 shot weapon - pretty cool
@@RicardosGaming yes that one is amazing, love the charge option, easy to aim, I would like that adv PA has the same mecanic.

2 of these and 2 medium plasma works on a fas with little heat issues.

I like the hardpoint placement on the MKII but I will agree the chief is far better if "king of manuverability" is your thing.

With slug upgrades, wooo
too true
No live streaming nowdays?
Life gets in the way on occasion
I am sooooo poor at using non gimbaled weapons! Perhaps I must work harder!
me too - all about a nimble ship I have found and close combat - plus use of Flight assist on/off
