This was a super helpful tutorial, but I wanted to add that since the recent update, cricut let’s you print at a larger size now. It’s an odd measurement, but it told me I can print up to 7.44x 8.25 inches or something like that and it works! It’s no longer constrained by a box, just those little corner margins.
Yes! So thankful that they expanded the printable area! I'll pin this comment so people know to test the printable area. The max area I've been able to print on 8.5 x 11 was 6.82” x 9.32” but the error message says you can only print up to 6.76 x 8.66. So test to see what your limits are!
@@KarleyHallyeah I think depending on what you’re uploading it changes but I was pleasantly surprised by it!! I had 4 ~4 inch stickers and it let me have them all, but I had to rotate a few. I upload original art and designs and let it auto resize for me. But thank you!! I’m so happy I found this tutorial I never knew about a ceramic blade either. I’ve been learning to do easy peel cuts where you duplicate the offset a bunch, but this seems way easier. And I’m so happy about your screen printing squeegee too, I was struggling with my holographic paper, my regular clear stuff has an easy peel strip, but my holographic paper doesn’t and was about to give up, but what you did was so smart so thank you! I’m still new to sticker making and trying to figure things out. I knew to not give up 😊 Oh also for the black lines besides tape, I tried the sharpie method and that works just as well too. You just trace the marks over the paper.
Interesting that our Makers can pick up the registration marks with the liner on top! Will have to try that tomorrow. Beautiful video, clear, comprehensive instructions. Many thanks!
I am still perfecting my sticker making and your video is AMAZING! So perfect and professional, thank you for doing this. Even the explanation about why my Explorer wouldn't read registration lines, no one has ever explained why that won't work for me
FINALLY!!! Every single step explained with detailed visual in a follow along style!!! You are an absolute GEM!!! I have recommended this video to everyone I know. Thank you sooooooo much for this!!
I have got to say that this is one of the BEST sticker video that I have come across on RUclips!. You were very detailed in your explanation, and we all appreciate you.
Hands down the best tutorial!!! I HAVE WATCHED TONS! that’s an understatement. Very clear ,the advices and your voice was nice an clear. Ty! For a FULL tutorial.
This is the best and most comprehensive (without being an hour)sticker tutorial I have ever seen. Fantastic video thank you. I feel like I can finally go make perfect stickers now.
This video was super helpful. I've had my explore2 since 2019 and recently purchased maker3, this is the first video that has actually explained step by step how to print n cut a good sticker. I'm a subscriber and follower. I'm actually making better stickers. Thank you, for your time and sharing.
Absolutely a wonderful tutorial, Karley!!! I've referenced your previous RUclips videos for making stickers, but this one is the BEST! All in one tutorial 😀I've always used StarCraft printable vinyl for my stickers (except when I need the stickers to be very thin, then I use PaperVisual) and the UV matte sheet. I've been very pleased with both StarCraft products. I've popped the squeegee into my Amazon cart along with the ceramic slicer. You have no idea how glad I am that you are making videos again!
Julie! Your comments mean so much to me! Thank you for always taking the time to watch my content and comment such heartfelt sentiments! My husband said to me this morning, Julie always leaves you the nicest comments! He’s right- I so look forward to hearing from you 😍 and so appreciate your support!
@@KarleyHall 😀 My sister and I got our Cricut Maker in the spring of 2021. I had never heard of such a machine but my sister, having been an elementary principal, knew of them. After she retired, she began a new career writing a children's mystery book series. She wanted to make some crafts to go along with her stories. Yours were the first series of RUclips videos I watched to learn how to use this new "contraption." 😉 I've always appreciated your honesty in your videos. Looking forward to the next one!
Thank you Karley for this video. I want so badly to create stickers for my grandkids and after seeing this I feel ready to jump in. I love that ceramic cutter and your large scraper. 😁 I'm always adding new tools everytime I learn a new technique.
Hi - this was an AMAZING video. Your instructions were so clear and concise and very easy to understand. I appreciate you for this. That “squeegee” action is super nice too. I would love to see you work your magic using your Cricut Maker to do larger sized greeting cards like 5x7 or 6x9…seems like I am always in the market for more tutorials for these size cards. RUclips has millions for the A2 size but not a lot for the others. Oh well, just a thought. Thanks again..!!
Thank you so much!!! I'm using the same sticker paper and I had a hard time trying to figure out how many times to cut the stickers. This video was so very helpful and so informative. I was able to cut them with no issues. YAY!!!🤩
Hi! I made stickers with this tutorial and they came out so cute! How can I make a sticker that just has a regular square or circle background to cut around, instead of the wavy offset?
Thanks for the chapters for quick navigating! Also, I originally came to figure out how to do a release cut for easy peeling, but my question is, what material do you use? The paper backing seems very thick and rigid on these. Thank you.
I just came across your channel, and I must say that this is the best sticker tutorial I've seen. You explained everything so clearly. I'm a new subscriber to your channel. Tfs! 😎
Wow!! Thank you! My kids would Love to have their own sticker sheets!! With the sticker sheet how would you design the background if you wanted to put a banner with your kids name and a design on the back, around your sticker? I've never print then cut before agh scary lol I've just subscribed

Amazing tutorial! Thanks!

Thanks!
Thank you so much!
does cricut allow only one type of paper size or can I use the normal A4 paper that is 8.3 x 11.7 inches ?
You can use A4 as a setting!
Also what is the difference between flattening and attaching the stickers and when do we need to use this feature?
Flattening turns your image into a print the cut image. Attaching holds things together in place so they don’t move when on your cutting mat :)
Thank you for that😊❤
You said that could not be done with Jou -- is that true with Joy Xtra?
Thank you soo much !!!
Can you do this with the cricut air explorer 2?
Yep!! 🎉
Could I just use glossy sticker paper instead of adding the laminate?
You can- but it’s not quite as durable!
hi! need your help/advice! I am making stickers and wanting to print them cut to create a sticker sheet but my cricut keeps cutting the stickers out each time instead of doing a kiss cut! any advice?
Thank you very informative!
Great video thank you
your offset work really fast 😁!mine 😢
hi love the tutorial, But for some reason when I flatten it, it wont let me use the contour. Am I doing something wrong?
Nope! That’s just the case! Once flattened contour is no longer an option. You’ll have to unflatten and then contour.
You have to contour first before flattening :)
My sticker sheets will not feed through my printer, is there another option to print?
For print settings which should we use landscape or portrait
Portrait :)
@@KarleyHall thank you so much im trying but can't get my cricut to cut and read the registration marks.

If you have a bunch of images- flatten them all together and then add a background shape (rectangle) and attach that to the flattened group
@@KarleyHall I'll try it

What the heck did I do wrong, follow the steps but the circuit only cut around the large background square, no images on the square?????
Sounds like you flattened everything together! You need to ensure you attach the stickers to the rectangle instead :)
