You are an EXCELLENT teacher. I have watched a lot of tutorials on when to use "Flatten" & "Attach" and only you made me understand it fully. Thank you very much.
Yes!! I was just thinking when do i use which and what they do, and you made it SO simple! Also, i didn't know about those "3," dots....wow! Saving this video..New subscriber. Thanks so much!!!
I can"t even begin to tell you how helpful this was! Thank you so much for being so detailed in this tutorial! I was just about to give up and then I found you! 🙂
You was truly awesome with explaining the zooming in and out and the details. I really learned a lot. ❤. I’m ready to look at another one. Thank you again
Newbie here. Thank you so much for the video. I have pulled my hair out, trying to do print and cut stickers, since I got my Maker. Contact paper is genius. I’ve never seen a video that uses it. I am so excited to try this now. Have a great day!!❤
I have watched numerous sticker making videos and your video is by far the best overall. So clear and you covered every possible step of the procedure. Thank you.
Amazingly easy to follow instructions and very clear explanations. Thank you so much. For the first time, I feel confident in giving this project a try.
That is brilliant, I never thought about doing the offset like that to make them easier to peel. I am using a laser printer so I kinda skip the layer of protective paper over the printed stickers as laser does not smudge. Great video and thanks for that tip!!

an you please hug yourself for me? I have watched a lot of videos and none explained the process like you did. I got it on the first try. Thank you so much!
Thank you for this video. I've been looking for a video on this subject for a long time. I saved this so when I'm ready to do this I can review the steps. Your instructions are easy to understand. 😃
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I do have a new easy peel sticker video using the new “create sticker” feature. You can check it out here ruclips.net/video/7VFfczmIEK0/видео.htmlsi=4-d8OwyX0qs_WI8f
To eliminate the holes in the offset...select offset, set size, and apply. Change the offset layer from print then cut to basic cut. Then you can contour and hide the holes. Change the offset layer back to print then cut and carry on with centering, etc. That way you don't have to keep increasing the offset/manually resize the offset and hope it is a size that perfectly centers.
I love love love this video. The most clear overall sticker. Now I actually understand why people do the offset twice. I thought doing it repeatedly was a waste of time but this makes so much more sense. WOW! Thank you for making it so clear. Also I didn’t even know you can create your own custom material in the materials section. That was so cool. Thanks again!!!
Glad you enjoyed it and welcome to the Cricut world! I just posted a new sticker video this week that you can check out here: Cute Stickers With Your CRICUT | Holographic Glow-in-the-dark Stickers with Teckwrap Craft ruclips.net/video/yTzPxnA4jQs/видео.html
Thank you for this tutorial. I had the first silhouette cameo and I sold it. My husband bought me the cricut maker and I am scared to turn it on! It is so different than the Cameo. I have been watching all the cricut videos and saving them for reference.
This is such s great informative video. Thank you so much. You are a great teacher and take the time to really show what you are doing. I am now understanding so much better how to do things with my new cricut that i was very intimidated to try before. Thank you
Been trying to do this "easy peel" and wasted so many sticker papers and ink trying to feed the sheets twice but screwing up the alignment every single time. Thank you for this super helpful tutorial!
Loved your step by step. I just made some stickers and your tutorial would have saved me some headaches!! One question though, I thought the area for printing stickers is 6.75 x 9.25. it looks like you used a whole sheet of paper and I would love to be able to utilize all that space...
Thanks. Great question. You are correct. It may look larger on the screen because the black registration lines stretch out further than this but the image or images themselves are within the 6.75 by 9.25 area.
Thank you for an excellent video full of useful tips. I would recommend peeling back just the top inch of the backing to the contact paper, then pressing that on to your sticker paper first. Then you can slowly peel back the rest of the backing paper and iron out any air bubbles as you go. This method should help reduce the risk of air bubbles and creases on the contact paper. I hope this helps.
I Love your trainning! Thank you! One question.... on the last two offsets you did for each sticker..... were those "Basic Cuts" OR "Print Then Cut"...
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I actually doesn't matter if the double offset is basic cut or print then cut - you will get the same result. But if you want to keep things consistent so you don't mix up your layers you can set everything to print then cut. Happy crafting!
Do you happen to know of the best clear vinyl, the best price and the most effective? I was wanting to make clear vinyl stickers. Would they also need the dollar tree paper to cover them to make them water proof? Thank you so much. This was such an excellent video.
Glad you enjoyed it. There are many different options you can try, I don’t think I’ve tried enough yet to say what one would be the best. No matter what material you use the ink will sit on top of your material after it is printed so if you don’t add a clear layer on top there is chance that your ink will smudge if it gets wet.
Super great video. This may be a dumb question, but is there a reason why we just don’t use vinyl sticker paper to avoid having to use the contact paper?
So you use either the sticker paper plus contact paper or the vinyl paper? Wouldn’t the vinyl paper just illuminate the extra step? Is there a reason why we wouldn’t just use the vinyl, is it because of cost? Both options are waterproof, right?
If you use printable vinyl the ink still sits on top of the material so it still has the potential of smudging if it gets wet. If you plan on putting stickers on something like a water bottle it’s best to add the extra clear layer.
I just use the regular clear contact paper but you can also get self laminating sheets from texkweap, which I love. Affiliate link: teckwrapcraftaffiliateprogram.sjv.io/zNe1BW
Mine did great all the way up to the point that it didn’t cut the stickers out individually through the backing. I tried the more setting but no luck. When creating the two offsets and attaching them should the function stay at print then cut or should I have changed it to basic cut?
Great question. I don't think it matters if the offset layers are "Print then Cut" or "Basic Cut". But if you do use print then cut, make sure you have the correct colour or just use white if you don't want any ink to be printed. If it's not cutting all the way through the backing try adding a third or even a forth offset layer, if the kiss cut seems to cut properly. If the kiss cut is not cutting properly first figure out the best setting for the kiss cut and then add multiple offset layers. I hope that helps. Happy crafting!
Awesome tutorial, thank you! Can you put the link for the little knive, please? I can’t find it on Amazon (I’m sure I’ve entered the wrong words in the search 😅)
Thank you. I was not able to find the exact knife I have (mine came in a package of window cling from Home Depot) but here is something similar that should work. Amazon Canada: amzn.to/3HEuiTC Amazon USA: amzn.to/3n34iHK
Hi there. What a terrific helpful video. I have yet to make stickers. How different or difficult is it to get a great sticker with printable vinyl compared to sticker paper? I wanted to pit them on a clear round circle for a Keychain. And possibly on a mug. I have a laser printer. What setting tells the printer the kind of paper/material. I cannot find anything that says sticker paper vinyl etc. Thank you so much!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I have not done stickers on a laser printer and I have not used clear sticker paper as of yet. Since every printer is different, your printer will give you different paper options. If you can't find something that says sticker paper use a setting that seems close. For example if I'm using glossy sticker paper I may choose glossy photo. I hope you can figure it out. Here is my latest sticker video if you're interested. ruclips.net/video/irPPO2vxVNw/видео.htmlsi=Qm3iJYcs86riWuZa
Love the videos. confused by this one though, as there is only one cut setting - it does both offsets at the same depth and pressure. When do we tell it to do a kisscut? thank you
Your Cricut will cut around the edge of your sticker once for the kiss cut and it cut around your outside edge twice for the die cut. Here is a new video I made using the new “create sticker” feature to get the same result with fewer steps ruclips.net/video/7VFfczmIEK0/видео.htmlsi=cCt-GQH54Evd6rwj
You need to use a printable material. Lately I’ve been using Teckwrap sticker paper which holds up great and you can definitely use it on cups, you can find the products here teckwrapcraftaffiliateprogram.sjv.io/EK6qGQ (affiliate link). I have a number of other sticker videos featuring their products. You can check out my sticker playlist here ruclips.net/p/PLPIwi88Dy-Oz4AY7phRD4ZN1Dfnj6SwOM&si=anXPx795F5ZJzEm3
You can try. Some brands work, some don’t. My current preference is to use self adhesive laments sheets from Texkwrap you can find them here with my affiliate link teckwrapcraftaffiliateprogram.sjv.io/eKk49r
I have a problem with stickers that fill a sheet, the printer just sends out a blank sheet of paper. But if i hide a couple stickers before i print, it prints perfect. It's weird and aggravating, but i eventually got some stickers printed. I appreciated your video.
Yes that definitely sounds weird and aggravating. I would first try restarting everything, your computer, printer and design space and see if that helps. I’m not sure if that the error is happening with your printer or DS. So maybe check your printer settings. If that doesn’t help give Cricut support a call. All the best.
Yes it acts like laminate. I would say it’s water resistant. It depends on the material you are using if it peels off. I find some material it works great and others it doesn’t. My new favourite sticker paper and laminate sheets are from Teckwrap, I find they work the best. Here’s a video where I use Teckwrap’s products ruclips.net/video/yTzPxnA4jQs/видео.htmlsi=AJd8giT-2AhxYWeH
Any sicker paper. You may have to adjust the pressure setting depending on the thickness of the material you are using. I’ve really been enjoying Teckwrap’s sticker paper. You can find it here. Affiliate link teckwrapcraftaffiliateprogram.sjv.io/zNe1BW
You can make stickers with the Cricut Joy Xtra. The first Cricut Joy was not made to make stickers but there are some work around but it’s complicated - some other RUclipsrs have videos on it.
What causes the scratches on the top layer? I made some but when you look at the angles in the light you can see all kinds of scratches and I don't know how to fix that issue.

Glad you enjoyed it. There are many different options you can try, I don’t think I’ve tried enough yet to say what one would be the best. Super great video. This may be a dumb question, but is there a reason why we just don’t use vinyl sticker paper to avoid having to use the contact paper?
The contact paper is definitely optional. I use it to make my stickers water resistant, so that the ink doesn’t smudge if they get wet.
Thanks a lot for the great tutorial! I do not understand why 2 offset Layers? Please can you explain me?
With 2 offset layers you are telling your machine to cut that line twice instead of once, so that your sticker is fully cut out.
@@littlecraftnest I appreciate your answer, thank you so much! I´m a newbee and that is a great information.

Great question. I don't think it matters if the offset layers are "Print then Cut" or "Basic Cut". But if you do use print then cut, make sure you have the correct colour or just use white if you don't want any ink to be printed. Yes that’s a great idea. There are many ways to do labels. What kind of labels were you thinking of?
Love the videos. confused by this one though, as there is only one cut setting - it does both offsets at the same depth and pressure. When do we tell it to do a kisscut? thank you
Your Cricut will cut around the edge of your sticker once for the kiss cut and it cut around your outside edge twice for the die cut. Here is a new video I made using the new “create sticker” feature to get the same result with fewer steps ruclips.net/video/7VFfczmIEK0/видео.htmlsi=cCt-GQH54Evd6rwj
