Love the video and I can't wait for the stickers. My schedule usually changes everyday because our specials are at different times, so I don't think I'd use the labels. I am however very excited for the little icons you have!

I am going into my student teaching semester in the fall (High School English) and I read The Book Whisperer last semester and it totally changed how I feel about reading in the classroom. I am looking forward to being able to implement it in my own room soon. I just love your videos!!
You have about 10 times the amount of storage than me. I have 6 cabinets, 3 small drawers and a large metal cabinet. That is it. Your new room is a dream!!!

I went to a conference there. it is beautiful. The food is delicious. When we went we got complementary massages at the spa, so check on that. They also have a water park down the street that the shuttle takes you to, because it is a part of the hotel. The price is already included in your stay! :)
You have such good luck in finding good rooms. Every room I've volunteered in has been super small!

As for the stickers I'd love Literacy Block and Mathematics Block! Other subjects I teach are Science, Health, Sport, Visual Art, Music and Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS). How do you print them and on what label size? Could you maybe show how if you don't have staples?

I'm in middle school but it's very interesting to see what teachers do and how they stay organized. I wish I did a Summer Challenge like that in elementary. Have a good time teaching :)

your room is amazing! the storage is just to die for! for labels it would be cool to have some that said like reading group 1 and reading group 2 etc in order to plan for different small groups. just an idea :)

Same here - I totally missed the water park because I was in Conference sessions all day. But my roommates and I definitely made time to drive into Grapevine for In-n-Out Burger - one was from California and I have a sister out there, so we had to introduce the other two to that amazingness!

question -- do you have any recommendations for secondary ed RUclipsrs that are active? all of the teachers with channels I've found are elementary-based and I'm going to be going into a high school, so while a lot of the basics are similar, it's also completely different. hi! I am a teacher in Spain and I just have a little question. I have been checking loots of videos and instagram from american teachers and i wonder if you get most of the forniture and the baskets.. Here it is quite normal you take some little things to your own class but not as much. Do you get money from school to get them or do you invest in your own clasrooms?

Every district is different, but our school did give us a small amount of money to spend for the year. I have read that the average teacher spends over $500 of their own money in their classroom per year.

Question along the lines of your stickers.
I'm a homeschool mom and I want to do brag tags with my two girls. The only tags I can find are for classroom size, 30 of the same to a page. I can't find anything for homeschoolers, with a bunch of different ones on each page. Any idea where I can find some?

I think most stores will sell classroom size packs. Maybe a local Parent/Teacher store?
You might look into a Silhouette Cameo. I'm not going to say that it has an easy learning curve, but you can customize anything you need! I think that it would be perfect for a homeschool environment. If you have time or enjoy crafting, you can make pretty much any project you can design! I am still learning but having fun making projects along the way. There are a ton of RUclips videos covering the machine, but I am by no means an expert.
