Great video, nice build, plenty of space for expansion. That Marshall DSL40 is a beast. Great rig .... 🙂
i just bought one of these. was worried that it wouldnt be able to fit all my pedals and it looks like i should have no problem. also its comforting to see that you fit your power supply under it as well. thanks for the vid!
That’s great! Thank
You so much for watching and your comment.
Enjoyed your project, love the board...THANKYOU!!
really helpful man thank you
I wish I had seen this video before I tried fitting my VDL bracket. Those pesky screws are useless. I’ve had two break and jam themselves whilst self-tapping. They Definitely need upgrading and I now have two unwanted holes in the underside of my JR. Lesson learned. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for watching!!
Nice board man. I'm thinking of getting the Classic Jr. too as my current board is getting a little cramped. I'm also considering the dual-lock after watching your video, so thanks for the tip!
Thank you for your comment. The Dual Lock is definitely the way to go. Thanks for watching!
Very good video ! Does it have a difference placing the tuner at the end or at the start with the buffer ?
I prefer at the end of the chain to have the tuner and buffer. This gives you essentially a live mute button and assures that you have a strong signal going straight to the amp.
Thanks for the question.
nice video man. keep it up
Thank you
@@locogringo6067 does the case have tsa locks or an option to add your own tsa approved lock?
@@allboutthemojo it has loops for locks but it would all depend on what kind of TSA lock you got. The loops are 1/3” in diameter. I have seen TSA locks that would certainly fit but I have no direct experience with them.
Thank you so much for your question!
@@locogringo6067 thank you. As long as they have loops for locks. Walmart has tsa locks in small sizes
Is the Polytune truly at the end of your chain here? You're using it as a buffer and a tuner? Or...?
Yes, at the time of this video I used the poly tune as a tuner and buffer and it was at the end of the chain. Since then I have migrated to at Friedman board with a buffer bay that puts a buffer at the front and end of the chain, additionally it matches the input and output impedance so you don’t have volume spikes when you engage a pedal.
@@breazealejeffrey Nice. Thanks
Good Video!
Thank you
Should I always take out the battery if I'm running my pedals thru a 9V output?
I would, I don’t think it really matters but with most pedals the battery is active when the input jack has a plug in it so it’s just going to die.
