He slips the folded card under the watch when he tells Rondo to squeeze the deck together. However, I have no friggin clue how he gets the correct card in there.
David had the whole deck memorised in the starting order. Michael actually made David’s job easier by not shuffling the deck. Even if Michael did shuffle, David would have rearranged the entire deck to the starting order - by making up the story of putting one card in a specific position.
Exactly, memorizing a card wouldn't matter because MJ chose that card and somebody else chose the number of cards to be dealt unless he's a stooge. That might be as simple as that. The guy that said the number is an accomplice.
@@malourocha9211 With the one in regards to Rajon Rondo, he has the deck setup so when he fans the cards in front of his face, all the cards are flipping by too quick except for one that will stand out for just a smidge longer, and that's the one the person sees 95% of the time. I think David got lucky with the number the spectator chose this time. I know how this trick works and normally he has to do the “wind” method to achieve this effect which looks almost invisible and really doesn’t look much different, it still looks just as good, but in this case he never had to do the move so I think he got lucky this time with the selections. I think he was shocked and that’s why all he said was “uh huh” when the number was picked. He was trying to contain his excitement and didn’t know what to say there.
