- In this video I will review Meguiars Ultimate Wash and Wax car soap. We will look at how it performs in a MTM foam cannon and how it performs in a bucket wash.
Why is everyone on the snow foam bandwagon, it's a wash and wax!
I use this stuff during the winter months. Removes road grime very well. Beads up nicely, and protects.
I got a 1oz sample of it and used it to 5 gallons of water not an ideal dilution but it was good shampoo and to me it smells like fruity bubble gum
As a Chemist, I like to experiment. Therefore, I mix both Maguire's Gold Class and Ultimate Wash n Wax together (1 to 1 ratio) to wash my vehicle. I enjoy the results very much.

Did this along with 1oz of Regular Dawn Dish Detergent(since i live in the woods and travel a lot of dirt roads) and the results were fantastic.
Never wash in direct sunlight to anyone reading this.

I have used this for a few car washes and think it smells like bananas. It does a pretty good job and I like how I feels but its suds get everywhere.
I've been using it (foam cannon and bucket) and have come to like the smell.
You don't find it too strong?
Read the bottle says not to inhale the smell too much and wash your hands good after cause it’s not good for the skin
And it made washing the car smell dearly nice
I have used this product on my 370Z for a year or so and have been pleased with the results however I do not dilute it with water in the cannon.
I'm starting to clean out my wash mitt more often, thanks to his comments.
It looks like a banana smoothly lol all jokes aside I use this every time I was my car before winter hits but it leaves a nice protective wax and cleans and shines the car nicely I like it.
What purpose is it to spray foam a car? It doesn’t take off any dirt. You still need to hand wash it. I think you wind up using more than three capfuls of soap concentrate

how do you clean / launder your wash mitts? and how do you dry them? also after you wash and dry them is there a method you use specifically to store them so they don't gather up any dust or particles that may scratch?

Which one is better this one or the gold class shampoo?
I been using the gold for years! And was happy with it until my wife ran my car thru a automatic car wash and my look looked glossed up! I then went to Wal mart and wanted to try the wax and wash. And now my cars look all glossed up with a quick wash. I am switching from gold to the wax and wash!

@@rassanelasso9558gold class is a good pre-wash if the car has been treated before or not, ie can be used straight over an already waxed car to clean and Condition. Following up with the wash and was will take care of any lingering contamination, and re-preserve/protect with the wax.

get a grit guard, it separate the dirty from clean water
Unfortunately that's not true while it may keep some of the heavier particles at the bottom of the bucket, all the grit guard does is put profits in the people's pockets that are selling them. I don't need a grit guard because I don't ever put a dirty mitt back into clean water. The water stays perfectly clean from the start to the finish. Go watch my video on why the two bucket method is a failure and you'll see that the water in the bucket is all dirty using a two bucket method.

Nope it does not.
What kind of wax is on the car? The water beads off pretty well...
No wax, Adams Liquid Paint Sealant. It last about a year. Its the best I have ever found for automobile paint.

dieselworld i have a 2015 accord and am putting on Chemical Guys Jet Seal now. Wow so you dont have any wax on that car. That is awesome. How do you maintain that bead? Is it the car wash soap you use?

You are using wayyy too much. It saids to use 4 CAP full per gallon, not 4 ounces

Read the warning on back and it's not a foaming soap
Correct...directions says to use a microfiber wash mit and dry with a microfiber towel
