I've used it for decades and nothing compares to it - ceramic additive or not. It's great as a foam soak (5.3oz shampoo to 26 oz water) or bucket wash (1 oz to a gallon). Smooth, shiny and simple are the words best describing it. Carry on Megs Gold Class, you really are that.
I'm very impressed with this soap. I got it at Autozone as part of the special of the week that included a bucket, towels, interior detailer, tire shine, sponge mitt and the soap in the video. I used it on my Fusion one evening and ran out of time/daylight before I had a chance to add spray wax. The next day my dad asked me if I had waxed my car, but I told him I had only washed it. Yeah, it looked that good. Yesterday I used it again on my brother's really dusty and dirty chevy prizm and again, it did an amazing job. This is the first time I've used car soap that delivers such great results. The other great thing is that it didn't leave any visible water spots. Also, you can tell just how good it is by how it'll leave your windows looking. I honestly have never seen a soap clean windows to such an extent. My brother's windshield has never been so clean. I'm just very impressed. I didn't use a foam cannon either.

I can pick up a bottle of meguiars gold class for about a third of the price of any of the stuff from Adams or chemical guys and the performance in terms of foaming and washing is on par. Plus I can find just about anywhere, target and Wal Mart, hardware stores, amazon and ebay ect. That's why meguiars gold class is my favorite car wash, would recommend to anyone.

However it completely removes all the water beading action from my cars wax/sealant. It is ph neutral so I’m still unsure why it does this. But apparently it’s because the shampoos included wax is sitting on top of the wax I applied beforehand
Always used Chemical Guys wash and wax or the Citrus wash and gloss, both very good and lasts ages. I only changed to Megs Wash and conditioner because the Checmical guys bottle I had started to thicken and turn a white colour, it was like trying to get tomato sauce out of a glass bottle! So I binned it and got some of the Megs shampoo. I’ve got to say it’s easily just as good as the Chemical guys shampoo, and foams up just as well too. The Megs really does leave a nice shine to your paint work, almost as if it’s been polished! Great stuff, will be using Megs for the foreseeable future

If you have a dark colored car i wouldnt. Swirl marks if you do this i would have at least a bucked of clean water that you could use to rinse the towel off an two microfiber towels to wash it. Use one for top and the 2nd for bottom of the car.
Please help. When i already use that product + meguiars ultimate quick detailer. then after i got caught in the rain. do I need to rinse the car with clean water again and then dry it? or not necessary
I've asked Meguiar actually. They said Gold Class is safe for ceramic coated cars. Have yet to try on my ceramic coated car yet. But honestly car pro reset does not produce as much suds as gold class in my opinion. I'd prefer gold class anytime to Carpro Reset.
Your going to always have to touch it by hand, but a high ph soap will remove the most without touching it, but it wont get it all. Got to use hands to get it clean.
Purple Power Boat and Auto. It is not a ph neutral soap. But, it does great at taking 95% off without touching the car. You will need to re-apply you wax/sealant afterwords. For me, it works perfect, as I always apply at a minimum, a spray wax after every wash.
Strange, I have a 2016 Accord, and I used 4oz of the gold class in a 5 gallon bucket and it totally stripped the wax off my car. I'm wondering if the 1oz per gallon ratio is too much.

I always ring out the product of soap on to my panel first and then move the MIT across. No swirls no scratches ever.
