- In this video, we will be comparing GeForce Now and Boosteroid’s Cloud Gaming Service. I had the opportunity to test both services and I decided to share my thoughts for those of you who are considering buying either platform.
We are a Boosteroid affiliate, but this video isn't designed to sell you on either service. Instead, I decided to spend some time with each one and provide you a comprehensive guide to aid in your buying decision. GeForce Now has a larger but lower quality gaming library. The games that are actually worth playing are on Boosteroid, often exclusively. Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Horizon Zero Dawn, Red Dead Redemption 2, Cities Skylines, StarCraft 2, etc are all on Boosteroid and missing from GeForce Now.

I really agree with this. I've subscribed to GFN because I love playing random games on the go, but unfortunately, with the latest releases like HD2, I'm sad to say but to switch to Boosteroid despite lowering streaming quality & performance.
I mean, what's the point of subscribing to a cloud gaming service when you can't even play the games you like to play? Especially when you're running on non-gaming laptops or away from home and had the itch to spread democracy to bugs/bots. I blame the greedy publishers for this one, honestly? Fuck em.
Had GFN for around a month now and absolutely love it! May need to try booster out though as i want to play Palworld

I want to try GFN ultimate tier a try!! but I couldn't make the payment. The page is keep on loading and nothing is happening. It is so frustrating :(

I just hope cloud gaming won't end with the same fate as movie/series streaming platforms, Netflix was once the only service but due to it's success we have now others like Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, Peacock, HBO MAX etc. it's getting overwhelming...

Is it because they don't want Microsoft and Sony to have a monopoly on this, or is it to milk us dry while still not providing the service we want, that's playing games we already own on the go...
I was considering moving to boosteroid from GFN due to the game library itself, with boosteroid I can have all of the games I own in one place while on GFN I only have the handful of them as well as the unnecessary waitings for NVidia and game developers to finally add them to the platform, I might be impatient but I've been waiting for too long for titles like GTA V, Fall Guys and Overwatch for it to be on GFN, also RE4 Remake? Hello? How on earth you get all of the other remakes and other RE games but not include RE4 Remake?
Only thing gfn has is ray tracing other then that boosteriod has way more games like GTA,rdr, cod, pubg
I was pleasantly surprised with GeForce Now. I’ll be comparing Amazon Luna and GeForce Now next.
I tried Luna about 3 years ago, but they have seemed to step it up since then. Their library still needs to grow significantly when you consider they belong to Amazon. It's pretty sad that Boosteroid has more games than Luna.

@@giorhivers1672 because it was only recent they expanded their service around other countries (used to be an only USA platform), but in my opinion Amazon Luna will be the next Stadia, DEAD.
GeForce is the better platform for now because they have been around longer. However, Boosteroid is gaining a lot of momentum and popularity. I would like to see the day they go head to head. Competition creates good products.
Anyone knows if Hitman world of assasination will be available on Boosteroid? I was thinking to switch to GFN just for these reason.

1 of my homes boosteroid 1 bar and it's red for poor performance, 0 lags and runs game smoothly I am impressed even in poor connection game runs great
Im a GFN subscriber & the platform is great in terms of performance & graphics.
But goddamm can i get games I actually want to play instead of 20 rando games that nobody cares about every week 😭... Honestly i'd switch to Boosteroid just because their games library is WAY BETTER. Even though the number of games less than GFN, the games that really do matter to most people are on Boosteroid. The only thing stopping me is the atrocious latency i see when i do the Boosteroid speed test :(
Can you do a updated video about which one is better since both recieved some upgrades as like boosteroid got a new subscription type and maybe better connections?
Absolutely! 👍 Boosteroid is suppose to launch a new tier and the ability to play games in 4k soon. As soon as that update releases, I’ll do another comparison.

Geforce now(4080 tier) performs better than my 3090 desktop so I'm considering to sell my pc and just stream 4K 120hz from my old pc lol. Internet not a problem as I have 1gig. Picture quality is great and it's 0 lag, I like it. Would be better If it had games like Elden Ring, Helldivers and some other non included games. Even on cloud gaming there is exclusivity... I might try boosteroid just because of that reason.
what if my connection test on boosteriod is 191 bandwidth and 9 latency? Is it safe to buy?

Boosteroid now also does 4K for a few dollars less a month than GFN
yeah but also overall a worse rig, its like 3 dollars less for an overall worse performance
1 he a 1 Gbit down and 50 up: for me, GFN is the better option. Having said that Boosteroid support is extremely responsive and polite, yet performance was not good enough for Hogwarts: Legacy :( they said it would be worth checking back as they plan to upgrade to a 4K tier in the future.

Yes, GTA V is available to play on Boosteroid.

well geforce now is out of stock rn i cant buy it so im try boosteroid
Boosteroid is still a solid platform. I use it and GeForce regularly now. Their customer support is also very responsive.
After 1 months with GFN I switched to boosteroid. The main reason was game library. But I can tell that quality of Boosteroid is better for me. Much less lags and freezes, works just smoother. For now I’m happy with this service. The only thing that worse is boosteroid’s UI on TV. Just not as good and easy as on GFN. But as soon as you lunch the game GFN loses.
Dont you have to pay for the games on geforce now
The games you play must be part of your steam or epic games store library. There are free games you can play, but you will have to pay for games on either store and use Geforce now to play them as long as they are available on its platform.

GeForce is superior in both quality and performance. Boosteroid has to 'install' the game each time you play, there is compression and input lag. It doesn't remember your in-game settings and can take a long time to close a game, if it closes at all. GeForce starts games instantly. The streaming is crispy clear with no lag, better machines and the interface is far more user-friendly and with more options and settings. I subscribed to both to test them but GeForce is better, no contest.
I have not had lag with good internet with booster
I would live to know how you get a controller working on it outside of using a PC. (Which kind of negates the whole purpose of theae programs.) Boosteroid is bad enough at detecting and mapping controls, but I haven't gotten GeForce to do it AT ALL.

It's easier to go to the search bar in the upper right-hand corner and choose "Call of Duty (MW2 MW3). You'll then need to log in to Battle[dot]net. From there, you can install "Call of Duty". Once this opens, you can access all of the Call of Duty games you've either purchased or can play for free including the newest Warzone. I know it's quite a few steps, but I hope this info helps.

Boosteroids don’t stand a chance against GeForce Now, GFN has Much Much better graphics and performance and input lag basically nonexistent, plus double the amount of games supported.

Library sizes of big/popular games are pretty much similar, but GeForce has a lot of unknown indie games that no one asked for. For me Boosteroid is really cool, I love it
Indie games can be very fun. I guess they wanted to cater to all types of gamers. There are franchises that are missing on GeForce. The Dead Space series is nonexistent, and they don't have all of the newer Resident Evil titles. The only Mass Effect game on there is Mass Effect Legendary edition.
Right as a geforce subscriber it sucks we get 15 low end indie games and like 2 actual games people want. I like it cause it has other games but im not going to kiss ass and say they have good games on there a majority of games on there are those you scroll past steam
Geforce now doesnt let u access ur entire library tho:/ i own hogwarts legacy i can play it on boosteroid but not geforce now...as well as helldivers 2...u neglected to me tion that 🫤
