GFN is magic when it comes to latency and response. But I'm not gonna be playing fps on cloud services. Boosteroid looks amazing and playing without the 100 h limit hanging over your head, that in it self is worth the Boosteroid deal.
@@awadhiyarishi they've update recently so it is better. Even managed to finish entire Lies of P on it. However on Halo it's still a bit more noticeable than GFN.
Gfn certainly provides decent quality, but for me, Boosteroid’s pricing feels more appealing. The quality of the service is also quite good, so I’m choosing boosteroid for its price-to-quality ratio
@@Skynewow_77 it's good to have Boosteroid as an option. I was playing God of War on it today (not available on GFN) and it looked awesome on 4K Ultra membership 👍
Even if the best subscription is $20 a month, I would still pay for it instead of paying $3,000+ for something high-end. Cloud gaming allows me to still enjoy PC gaming while I save up for something high-end.
The video we were all waiting for! Not that I'm planning on cancelling my GFN subscription immediatly, because I currently do not reach 100hrs, but I am missing that GTA and Red Dead for example on GFN. Does Boosteroid support joysticks/racing wheels? I assume not... I always wanted to know how those 2 services compare. Liked it. If all interested find this video, your channel might grow substantially very quick 😊
I’m glad I’m a founder of GFN. It’s cheaper for me than boosteroid as long as I keep my subscription as it is. So for me I will stick to GFN even if I wish some titles on the service.
At first glance, if you live near the Boosteroid servers, it doesn't make much sense to choose GFN (library quality, price). I haven't used it yet, but in my region geforce has 85+ms latency and the experience is not great to say the least (bought a subscription once). Whereas Boosteroid gives 5-7ms and in my case input lag should be better. Did I understand correctly how it should work?
Plus Boosteroid has its ultra tier on sale. But I prefer GeForce Nows performance. If only they had more games like Boosteroid. IDC much about the 100hrs. I don't have that much time to play
didnt know about the cap when i signed up for ultimate. 100h prob not enough for me. most likely switching services next month. the mid-teir option for geforce is "sold out" you can only buy the ultimate atm, at least in usa.
Unfortunately boosteroid didnt work out well for me. I have a year to figure out how to replace gfn but im deff not on board with this. Afraid for the future of the cloud in general.
This is why competition is a must, because lack of competition =lack of choices. If Nividia has no real competition in the cloud gaming space, then Nvidia knows they can do pretty much do whatever they want and people will have no choice but to just accept it, because where else are they going to go? Boosteroid needs to just continue working on their service and to better provide subscribers with a better experience. Xbox Cloud gaming is complete garbage and needs a major overhual in just about every category, starting with bitrate.
Biggest difference I think between Boosteroid Ultra vs GFN Ultimate for me is Boosteroid Ultra is using AMD GPU drivers versus GFN Ultimate using Nvidia drivers. That could be the issue with GFN having higher clarity. Great video overall Clive!
I already am giving boosteroid a chance since GFN has the time limit ready to go. So far its a mixed bag for boosteroid with me , i gotta give it a more thorough try tho .
livin' 200km from Berlin, friend of mine in Berlin. I have 7ms on geforce now, he has constant 2ms😂. It's insane smooth over here and i Love it. But i wanna play PUBG 😢
I use gfn ultimate but I hate game library bro.. I don’t have great games like boosteroid.. I think to give up to 10/10 graphics and performance and go to 9/10 just for epic games on the boo steroid game library like sekiro, helldivers 2 , gta series , elden riiiing and many more triple A games , I’m bored with 5 games triple A on GeForce.. I want to play much more cool games :)
I tried both and found boosteroid to be problematic, I will say I had no issues regarding connection or ping but rather odd problems, for one, some of the games on boosteroid like zomboid for example dont allow you to save your progress so you would have to start from scratch every time you launched the game, there was also an issue playing mmos since some of the games were accidentally soft locked by whoever tested the machines, even showing their username when you would launch said game.
@@markwinther3210 you need broadband of at least 35mbps but anything over 50 is good. In terms of WiFi use the 5ghz band and make sure there's minimal interference in the house. Tbh - it's often the WiFi set up in a house that lets people down and not the broadband speed.
Judging from the comments I get, it clearly impacts quite a few people. tbh I'm not sure I've ever hit 100hrs in a month, although if I'm really, really into a game I might come close - but that just might be one game in a year.
@@CliveIllenden let me first start as I am a founder of GFN, but even though I am not effected in any way due that I am a founder. Nvidia shows how many hours you play. Personally I've never topped that 100hours - GFN works on basically anything, it can run on a 10 year old computer and so long your screen can put out 120 Hz it does that. So yeah because its very flexible and works on basically any device I stick with GFN - this on a steamdeck, if you got a good network at home you can max out the battery on it and get smooth gameplay experience.
I’m disabled and I can’t work much , the 100hr playtime is really bad. Cause I end up playing over 6-8hr a day. Granted I’m grandfather in from the 100 hr limit so I got like a year before I quit GFN. But this is a slap in the face for gamers who do have time to play .
@@thealchemy244 You should be able to track your states on the GFN account page, but you can just 'pay' for the extra time if you hit the limit. Being disabled isn't however a get-out-of-jail card - watching a YT video like this or Netflix isn't game-time and if you game that much you really should try to find a way to broaden your 'world' imho. I dont consider doing 8hour-runs for 1 thing a day for 365 none-stop a healthy thing to do... Theres a reason people start to work less and 'live' more.
