Man, y'all sure dont know how to garden. Butter beans are a legume. They fix nitrogen to your soil. You should be tilling them back into your soil. That will build your soil up and add nitrogen to soil. Stronger soil makes stronger plants which helps the fight pests and disease.

Thank you, and yes we are aware the they have many benefits for our soil and we will till up our peas that we planted behind our corn for these benefits. Our Butter Beans were planted on landscape fabric and we will not be tilling the soil. Thanks for watching!
