Love seeing your makes! Apparently I missed this podcast when it came out so just finished watching your most recent. I love your color choices. They look so good together. I'm lacking in that department. I'm hoping to learn some tricks😉
Your easy v came out beautifully! I don’t think you did anything wrong to make the FO come out slightly off center-the disadvantage of knitting larger items in the round can be that the fabric can bias depending on the yarn/tension. This is why some knitters (not me! 😉) prefer to knit the item flat and then seam the pieces. Maybe an aggressive blocking could help it to lie flatter if it bothers you. It’s honestly a beautiful job and not that noticeable 😍
I'll take a little off-center seam over knitting pieces flat and sewing them together any day lol! Thanks for the support - I'm just wearing and enjoying it the way it is!
I recently finished the Iskald sweater (by Caitlin Hunter) which has a very similar V-neck and in the Iskald the directions say to move the BOR to the side and I did NOT move the BOR from center back. I can’t be certain but just wonder if this may be what offset your neckline. I hope you feel better soon!
I think she keeps the BOR the same through this pattern. Makes you wonder why she moved it in one pattern but not the other 🧐 Thanks for the well wishes!
My first Stephen West pattern was the Slipstravaganza and I used a DK weight and she’s HUGE (even though I still used the needles called for with the fingering weight yarn suggestion). Not that it’s a bad thing lol. After that I started following his weight recommendations and I’ve been pretty happy with them. But there’s definitely no reason you couldn’t try out different yarn weights as long as you like the fabric you get!
I love your Easy V sweater! The colors look amazing together. I’m never confident putting colors together for myself.
Thanks! I’be made plenty of bad color calls but trying out new combos is always fun.
Love the easy bee! Beautiful colors!
Thanks so much 😊
I enjoyed your company while spinning my yarn for the pressed flowers cardigan I want to make. Thank you
Let me know how that comes out!! That’s on my dream spin/knit list - such a beautiful pattern ❤️
Love the shawl. You produce so many beautiful pieces.
Thank you so much!

Color choice is something I struggle with, too. I've just decided to jump in with some wilder colors and embrace the frog if I need to lol.
Hiya, apparently size 3 if the new pattern update is the old Ranunculus 😉😉
No wonder I gravitated to that size 😂

Do you always use fingering weight for your Stephen west shawls, or do you find other weights work just the same?
