Persona 3 is a very special game to me. I picked up the original on PS2 back in the day as a curiosity, which led to me becoming a massive Atlus fan, and I've bought every physical SMT/Persona release ever since (Including the Devil Summoner 2 Collector's Edition with the Raihou plush)... So yes, I am very excited to play the game that kicked off my love for Atlus RPGs all over again with a nice new fresh coat of paint.
They could always try to rework it as its' own separate sequel game with Aigis getting her own social links rather than being just an extended dungeon crawl.

Persona 3 main cast didn't lack depth their character progression is tied to the main story so no SL needed just because the other persona games have all their cast have SLs doesn't mean that their characters have more depth in contrary I believe that the P3 cast is the most flesh out of the newer Persona games.

I would like to clear sth up without looking it up (in fear of spoilers). I've never played P3, but I have hundreds of hours in P5. One of my favourite elements of my first playthrough of P5 was discovering and exploring each new palace. Are P3R dungeons any similar (in terms of environment and thematic variety) or is most of the game played in Tartarus, sort of like Mementos from P5?
My question is is the epilogue present in the remake? Where you play as Aigis? Or the fact than you can play as the female protatg? If not then its probably best to wait for a Golden/Royale edition.
No, but the answer is reportedly coming later (according to a leaker who told us about the game before it was announced) and the devs supposedly aren't planning on giving this a P5R style re-release, but FeMC is currently not planned.
Played the first few hours today and I absolutely love it already. I have the same feeling I had when I played Persona 5 for the first time which was my entry into the franchise. Playing 3 through the remake now for the first time after hearing many great things about Persona 3 is amazing
@@gabrielgutierrez6086 It definitely still takes its time, but I do have a feeling that it is a bit faster at opening up. It still explains everything in a way that people who don’t play games could get into this but after 7 hours of playing I do feel I’m actually quite free to do what I like. As far as I remember Persona 5 goes well beyond the 10 hour mark before that happens

@@Jakco808 this especially rings true when you realistically have to put multiple playthroughs into a persona game to experience all it has to offer. I'd take climbing tartarus randomly 3 times than p5's beat for beat dungeons over and over
I don't feel like rewarding Atlus with my money after they didn't allow P5R owners a way to upgrade to the ps5 version for 60 fps without buying the game for a THIRD time. One of the scummiest things I've seen from ANY dev/publisher!

@MrSPW93 Unfortunately, a pretty reliable person on Twitter has stated there is DLC for The Answer in the next fiscal year, but no trace of FemC

I can see them remaking 4 with the new engine but P5, nah it looks good and with the new frame rate is fine where it stands. p1 and p2 need remakes

In the original it’s a lot like mementos. I haven’t been to Tartarus yet in my playthrough but I’ll try to remember to respond again when I do

Persona 5 Royale is more stylish but Persona 3 reload has better characters, theme and music imo.

Does it start slower or faster than P5? For my taste, P5 started way too slow.

They said the same thing for Persona 4 and then released Golden afterwards. I think they're probably more likely to do DLC this time though.

Unpopular take: persona 4's procedural dungeons made for more variety and unexpected encounters. Much more enjoyable than 5's linear dungeon designs
