Good to hear my 70 was not wasted. I don’t like the fact that Cancer comes into the story. My wife was Just diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma believe it or not and I got this game to sort of “check out” this weekend! Guess that’s not happening. She usually likes to watch me play especially yakuza games because they are hilarious but now I don’t think I’ll even tell her about the game. Damn life is weird sometimes. Been playing since I was 8, I am 46 now and I don’t remember Cancer ever being a thing in a video game. And now this, she was diagnosed Literly This Tuesday
The turn-based in Yakuza isn’t too bad. Plus some of the special moves are just ridiculous. And if you’re not in turn-based, the you can still check out the rest of the series, plus the Judgement games, as they’re not turn-based, except for Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
I could care less about new game plus being paywalled. I never did a ng+ in the previous games and i already had the ultimate edition pre-ordered a couple of days before these reviews started coming out. In general im not a ng+ player anyway. I only really use it when games or game series have multiple choices and multiple endings
I've loved all the Yakuza games that I've played. I only just beat (Like a Dragon (7)) a few weeks ago and have been so excited for this one, but wasn't sure if I should get it when we've got RPGs like Final Fantasy 7R and Persona 3 Reload right around the corner as well. Seeing these glowing reviews though I think I'll be juggling Infinite Wealth along them haha
Huh? I don't really understand how you could love all the Yakuza/LAD games and then even consider skipping this... if you've played and enjoyed the 10+ other games in the series it seems like an absolute no brainer to me 😂
@@ChillCollins616yea nobody I know played Starfield or new super Mario or any metal gear solid games. They shouldn't exist cause nobody I know played them
I would have bought this game already if it weren't for the fee for NG+. I think it's morally corrupt of SEGA to try and make us pay for part of the game. What's next? $15 for HDR? $15 to control sound? $15 for subtitles? $15 for Japanese voiceovers? $15 for extra saves? We're mostly buying a digital game that is not resellable for $70 - perhaps, they should be offering a $15 discount when launching games since there is no shipping, no physical media, no returns, etc, etc.
Give em $15 for letting them keep Sujimon League and Dondoki Island in base game. Other companies would've made those 2 as 2 separate DLCs because they're DLC worthy side quests to be milked for $$
@@earlbernabe1470 I heard those are great. I always feel DLC is nonsensical for top games. They sell so many copies of the game and that's the real income. Very few people buy the DLC so you stand to lose a lot more. In all honesty, I would probably not replay this game as it's long. So why try to make extra money off a default feature that most players won't use? Why risk your reputation as a brand or IP to do so? I only understand DLC from the perspective that something is not ready at launch or a separate story arc.

Always play in jap, because in English it sounds so cringe. Only thing that sucks is the overlap the video talked about (English dialogue throughout jap dub) But to get back to it, I'd like to know what's the woke part in English?

I just got my first like a dragon (gaiden) game last week and absolutely love it.
I never done turned based so i dont know about that part.

The game is so long that I don’t even plan on a 2nd PT, especially with all the other games coming out this year. In principle, I agree though.
