    fried banana looks like 1 for rm2, that's a cut-throat tourist price. at normal street vendor you can get a few for just rm1. i suggest you look for "pasar malam" (night market) and you can get better value for your money. i dont think the fatty one is squid because seafood is not fatty

    • @AttilaAndZae
      @AttilaAndZae  2 года назад +1

      Thank you for the suggestion! We will be looking out for the night market when we return to KL. And we’re not sure what it was exactly but it definitely looked like octopus 🐙

    • @shamfulzamriaf
      @shamfulzamriaf 2 года назад

      Jalan Alor famous for tourists, the price there a bit too much and the foods not really authentic Malaysia like you can eat every cuisines in the world at one place. You should try night market, wherever you are right now there must be a night market around. And yes it is 🐙, usually they dried the 🐙 then boiled it make it extra jelloooo

    Hey guys, we locals never bring our families to Jalan Alor for family dinner. Good place to start if this is your first time to Malaysia. I don't know if the stall is still there as I haven't been there for at least a decade. Take the direction from Jalan Alor downhill towards Tong Shin and bear right. There's a beef noodle stall (as in next to the street) which we used to have supper from after getting drunk at the clubs

    Dont miss out on Borneo or Perhentian or Tioman Islands. USD22 bucks is pricey for locals but you walked into a fancy joint in a touristy area. What you guys had could have been had for half that at other places....just sayin.

      You’re right. It definitely is a little bit pricey. We usually try to eat street food, because we are a budget travel channel, but this time we did decide to make an exception. Also, we use CAD so it’s slightly less (we will make sure to specify this in upcoming videos). We appreciate your tips and pointing everything out 😊!
