Can it be mounted where the hose comes out horizontally instead of vertical? It would work better for me if I could pull it out instead of straight down.
I'm sure it would work just as well mounted horizontally. I didn't really have that option since I don't really have the structure to mount something to the wall easily.

After I posted this, I had someone send me a chart of 10 different types of connectors.
What size of bolts did you use on your set up?
Mine says 3/8 for the 6” plate hope that helps .I’m also using 2x6 base like in video but mine is to wall not on ceiling I’m using 4” lag bolts 👍
