Those fittings are nice, looks pretty much the same as the Milton V style. Like the large high flow holes just hate the purple color.

Hello I didnt do a video on making the wood. Its kind of easy just buy the carriage bolts so they stay put and don't spin. Drill the hole for the thread part then with a wood bit make the bigger hole for the counter sink section. You can pause the video to get a closer look at the setup. If you want to paint it for looks and then install. Hope this works let me know. Thanks
Super helpful! Was about to get one of these from HF. I have one small question I need 40 to 60 psi gun pressure at my gun gauge while spraying, was wondering if using 50 feet reel hose + added length for the Merlin hose (25 ft) would be able to get that pressure using a 5 HP 16 cfm compressor? I did calculations online it does say it could deliver that pressure with 80 feet hose length with only 10 CFM.

Hello that compressor is a NorthStar you can get it at Nothern Tools or Amazon here is the Amazon link if you want to get from there its awesome super quiet. Do you know what the mounting hole pattern is on that reel? I’m trying to mount one to existing wedge anchors and can’t find dimensions anywhere.
hello sure its from left to right is 3.5 inches between holes and top to bottom is 4.75 inch between center to center. Its heavy so if you dont have concrete or a stud use a bigger platform. Let me know if you have other questions

Hello its fantastic. The air hose had a sticky coating around it that I cleaned off not sure why comes with. I use it all the time so far its great. Its loud when you pull on it but all the ones I looked at did the same. I had a Craftsman that had the full cover on it and always would get stuck so I got the open one and love it. If you get it use the 20% coupon and get the 2 year warranty with the savings. That's how I buy at HF. Thanks
How's the little wood holding up on the drywall? Why didn't you mount it on the 2x4s?
Also, what chemical did you use to get the sticky material off the hose?

@@x-man4702 The wood is perfect with some screws on the metal frame and butterflies on the drywall section. Well I have metal studs and didnt think it would hold up the wait.
