12:06 Whoa. You guys went INTO the future?! Lol. Another great video, guys. The Corolla looks awesome and clean. I'm looking forward to more videos. And I also love the amount of puppy dogs in this video. More of that too, please.
Great fun being out there with you guys on Saturday. We did the first laps with the C6 you guys are going to set up for our Rally4Vets veteran suicide prevention program events. Our best time was 1:38:90. The Corolla is awesome!
Stock suspension is pretty good on the GR Yaris platform, most folks added a $5 Toyota camber bolt to get to negative 3 degrees camber at the front and run higher tire temps at the rear or toe out at the rear to get it to rotate quicker
That's great information! We have some vendor partners that want to get their hands on this. Apex'i already has all the suspension information to build a set for us.
Best content on YT no weird clouty stuff just rad dudes at the track making progress on this fresh chassis. Danny lap time was really fast for a V6 car!! I’m curious on his coilover system car looks planted!
Your driver needs to stop shuffling the wheel in corners (in car footage at end). Hold the wheel at 3 and 9 or 2 and 10 constantly and re grip if turning more than 180 degrees. This will increase feel, feedback and give a much better sense of control 👍🏼💚
We had our friend over at BSide Fabrication build us one. With the heat wrap and exhaust the overheat issue is resolved. We were able to run it full send!
You didn’t mention brake fade so I assume it’s good to be driven on track without issues? I thought the lack of brake cooling in the stock car could lead to some issues for extended tracks sessions. Are you still on the original stock pads?
@@JustDriven That thing is nuts. Wow..I've spent quite a few days on track. I've never seen that before. At first I thought it was an IS-F but then I was like..where are the other doors?
The Apex’i USA Lexus IS350c ram a 1:21.5 with their new 295 square tire setup. The other stock GR Corollas we’re running 1:27-1:28s. The fastest A90 in the Grand Touring class was in the 1:19s.
Wow I'm baffled this car isn't much faster. My stock engine 94 miata before the repave was running 1:28's around streets. I'm expecting to shave it down to 1:27's with the new smoother course, it was absolute crap last time I ran that track, especially around the skid pad.
Traffic played a big role in the times that event. That sentiment was shared throughout the paddock. We suspect next time around should be much improved.
@@JustDriven I'm thinking that car with a proper alignment wheel and tires maybe a052's should be low 1:24's maybe even high 1:22's if all things are set right. But it definitely is a shame that it's gonna need all kinds of supporting mods to help it along. The oil temps and diff temps are no bueno. I hope this doesn't turn into another Focus RS but I will not have faith in the car until proven otherwise. Especially for them being about $50k+ with dealer mark-up in california...
Great entertaining content BUT to anybody in the real life that doesnt have sponsors or money to burn please do yourself a favor and buy an actual sport car that is track worthy not this sporty daily driver… thank me later lol
@@kornerzz how so tell me? Dumping money on a car that was not designed to ttack this hars i mean what more Proof do u want? @@gigi9467 I’ll go easy on you since it seems like you’re new to the track world. People can track whatever they want, it’s their money. My street truck turns faster laps at big willow than you’ll ever do in your nd….and guess what, it wasn’t designed to do any of this. Just because you don’t have the skill or aptitude to make non fast things go fast on track doesn’t mean you have to hate. If you’re in doubt we can meet up and see what a 50 year old pick can do vs your “sports car🤣”.
@kornerzz don't take his nonsense to heart. He does this on all our videos. He believes people should buy cars meant for track use only. He still has not told us what this mystery vehicle is.

haha...nice catch. not sure why the dates were so off! We love dogs here so we look for any excuse to put them in our videos!

exactly eat I did on my GRC and did make a significant difference with a proper alignment setup

It's a great all around car.

Thank you so much! Danny is on Apex'i coils!
Good information on the video. Thanks 👍
Thanks for checking it out! We have more content coming with this build.
So nice to this in person and congrats on the time! I was in the black ISF and got to chat a little bit with Alex
Awesome! Sorry you got stuck talking to Alex. haha...

Not double clutching and granny shifting
@@dogshmog yes, don't wanna blow the welds on the intake 🤣
We have been going over the footage with Richard to find other ways to improve track time. We will let him know what you said too.
I just ran my GR Corolla at Road Atlanta, 85 degree day and it was right at 255 Oil Temp.
Ok.
Those Honda S2000's sounded good 🤙
Love some high pitched Hondas!
Love those
The Corolla? It's so much fun!
Hi, just curious what exhaust you modified to? With that and wrap the rear diff overheat issue is resolved now?
We had our friend over at BSide Fabrication build us one. With the heat wrap and exhaust the overheat issue is resolved. We were able to run it full send!
@@JustDriven awesome, is that exhaust for sell for us? I recently bought a GR Corolla and looking forward to track it
We have not decided if it's a viable option to mass produce this exhaust.
@@JustDriven it will be great if you can do that. We are looking forward to it!
What is the device that you are reviewing your Lap data on?
It's a Garmin Catalyst.
I see some 944's out there having fun, too!
That was so cool to see!
what width and offset did you go on the tc105x?
17:57 shows tire size and box with wheel specs also
@SR240Z is right about the timing on the reveal of the wheel sizing.
You didn’t mention brake fade so I assume it’s good to be driven on track without issues? I thought the lack of brake cooling in the stock car could lead to some issues for extended tracks sessions. Are you still on the original stock pads?
Stock pads and lines and feelin' really really fine! Neither Danny nor Richard had any issues with brake fade. We replaced the fluid but that's it.
@@JustDriven Hell yea!
My S in the thumbnail 🙌
Heck ya!
What model is that blue Lexus? It looks like an IS250C but that can't be.
That is an IS350C with a manual transmission from a 250. It's also very bitchin' if you couldn't tell.

You guys need to sell that exhaust!!!!!!!!
The exhaust was very difficult to create, so reproducing it costly. Maybe we could have Works Corsa make another if you're interested?
❤❤❤❤
🤘🏼
Stock suspension pretty good. What were some of the other cars times?
right lol i kept waiting for him to compare with other car's time 🤣🤣
