I have a GR Corolla CE and it’s a blast on the backroads. Yes, other cars are faster and more refined, but you hit the nail on the head when you said it’s the character and the way you feel driving it.
I'm new to Manual and have had this car for 8 months. I've noticed it's not as smooth shifting from first to second. All other gears are pretty smooth. Is this the case for your GR?
The first time I saw one of these was when I took my tail of the dragon trip and my god. We parked on a pullaway to cool down and a white gr corolla enters a carousel type corner we were near at like 50mph no tire squeal and never let off, it blew my mind.
Yeah I know exactly what you were talking about with how the car feels, when I had my Corolla XSE I kept telling people that it was such a fun car to drive and that if it only had 100 more HP it would be an amazing vehicle so I can only imagine what the GR Corolla feels like. I saw that you have the built in navigation I'm just waiting to find out if it's free or if it has to be paid for, like did the previous owner already pay the subscription for a year or something like that.
@@QueTheChaotic- Que typically all new cars and occasionally used vehicles (if from an actual dealership) come with a trial membership like Sirius and the traffic app is usually included.
This coming from a Subaru STI owner. Go winter tires!! You will not regret when snow hits, it’s cut like butter. You already have summer tires and can switch back when it gets warmer.
Car is sick! Love the murdered out look, I have this car in white, black looks super aggressive. I have this and the M2Comp, also regret not getting the M2C in black lol. Dope ride bro
They have been sitting on lots for quite a while. Go twords the end of the month and I bet you can get a deal under 35k I got a premium for 33k. It was a little over 35k out the door with taxes, and registration.
@@QueTheChaotic It’s playful for being all season tires. Good grip and softer ride. Don’t get me wrong, the tires that come on the GR stick like glue to the road. If you get winter weather….all season tires are just going to be better.
Que at the Eastern Market getting some vegetables 😎Sheeesh i cant believe you slid GRC in so much gravel LOL Feel sorry for the paint. The in app navigation looks like google maps but that pin feature on the compass was dope. I'm not paying $300 for a Subbie oil mod which they shouldve fixed out of factory. Like Nate said they are TRASH lol
I like see people that don’t own a core or circuit talking about it’s worth 40-50.. but anything more than 50 it’s not worth it. I own a 2023 circuit and I’ll say this.. if you can get one at any price you should. It’s a crx on hgh and handles like a go cart with magnetic tires. You can’t over drive it. And if you are carrying to much speed the brembos work perfectly to slow you fast
The real OG Toyota vehicles are greatly appreciate from a buyers standpoint. I have heard rumors of a 2024 Camry GR to be dropped in Q1 of 2024. Not a fan of partnership vehicles. Toyota had so much potential to bring back the Supra, but dropped the ball with the partnership. Personally, thats a deal breaker for me. If you find an all season or all weather tire by BF Goodrich, buy that one, great tires made by that brand. Do you feel as though it is worth the extra dough for the Circuit trim with what comes with that over the Core trim? Or, would you steer someone in the direction of going with the Core & opting in for the performance package to save some money? Which route would you recommend?
Not buying a car like this for screen but boy that looks 8 years old. But dis car well built, absolute rock solid it seems. No hate for ITS, WRX, Type R or Elantra N but this not better on paper but so much more appealing to me. GR Prius gunna have newer interior tho and going to be stealth af. Cant wait to see that if it happens. Drive this and GR86 side by side and do a video. Also this and STI hatch (need to source on tho!). No one has done that comparo yet although its the most obvious cousin.
for how much these are going for the are way better options in different markets. most of these i see going for near 60k which is way overpriced imo. if your looking to blow 60k on a sports sedan, go buy a used m3 you'll be far more impressed.
Try "All Weather" tires. I run them. Its a relatively new category. Its 3 peak snow rated (so very good in snow) but designed to be driven all year round, does good in summer and rain as well. Its much better than "All Season" as its passed the severe snow rating. I use Goodyear Weatherready (very good reviews) but Michelin and other make them as well. They will also grip less in the summer vs PS4, so its a win win for you. Just give a shouttout to your boy here is you go that route. Helps the ego, lol
@QueTheChaotic also checkout your boy Topher BRZ build. He has some all terrains tires on his. You can consider that for the GRC (honestly I felt the GRC is better suited for that kind of safari thing anyway!)
@@QueTheChaotic 🤣One more hour until NASCAR starts today. I've been driving back from Farmville. We had a safe, but rough trip back home. Bad, bad traffic can get you any time of day or night on I-95. ☹
Its a cool car for 35 to 40k. But dumb at 50 to 60k. Because of this i went for a wrx but totally would have loved one of these.
I don’t blame you
same, I was told at the Toyota dealership to expect a 10k markup on the core so i bought a WRX.

I can see how the XSE was fun. They always give you a little free time on the subscription. I think you have to pay since it’s data involved. Iunno

Wouldn't have guessed that since it has torsion rear suspension instead of multi link.

I love my GR .
Did you see mark ups on the GR Corolla. Out here on the west coast I have seen maybe one in the wild.
Most are marked up that I've seen. The GR Corolla Facebook groups point them out for MSRP
If I can find one for under 42k otd with the performance package I'll get one. Otherwise, Im getting a wrx limited trim

To many people get way to focused on the stats. As time goes on they seem to be less important in the grand scheme of things.
I just change my summer tire on my GR circuit edition with Michelin all season 4 and there amazing

It's all tinted like that from the factory?
The previous owner did these tints
