Pet peeves I’ve found for mine: •The pillars rattling in my case •Cluster not saving tire pressure section permanently •Drive mode not staying saved as default (as in custom/sport instead of defaulting to normal) Still wouldn’t trade it for anything, I love this car!
Should be a bit easier to get now...I bought mine a few days before New Years after only having waited 4 weeks from first contact with dealer, paid MSRP for Premium trim too...
Love your video. We need more of these vids because as you stated, car reviewers will never talk about these things, all they rave about is the driving excitement, but there's so much more to a car.
Weird(interesting) your dashboard literally says "PARK" ...parking brake? I think only the USA models says PARK mine (in Canada and rest of the world) has the universal icon for handbrake instead( ! ) Love the Metallic color and the choice of wheels! The freakin Piano Black scratches so easily even with microfibers! I'm thinking on taking them out and having them painted color match to the outside of the car I love the music control on the steering wheel. But I would love a mute button like my Abarth has. Handy when you just driving and want to mute the music to hear the engine revving.
I don't have any rattles (yet), but the instrumentation and radio controls are the worst I've ever encountered. Also, I'm hoping there is a fuse I can remove for that obnoxious seatbelt chime. As far as the ride/handling/performance goes, that is where this car shines. I've ownd a LOT of sports cars and this just has the right combination to enjoy daily.
Let me know if you find any success with the seat belt chime. The rattles will come....I'm working on the glove box right now and have a mystery rattle in the dash.
iPhone 15 Pro Max with D Brand case… won’t charge on the wireless pad. Idk how they can charge extra/market the wireless charger if it doesn’t work with the newest technology?
In my GR Corolla I don't like the dial on the infotainment screen. When you touch the dial, either you mistouch the screen or siri comes on. it's annoying at times. People complain about arm rest but it doesn't bother me.
Someone mentioned that the rav4 button is better and fits perfectly I will be doing a follow up video with as many fixes as possible for my pet peeves… with links to the actual projects (when possible).
Thanks for the input but Is there any other value to it? Silencing the seat belt alarm using a subscription for $5 a month...Not really worth it unless it does something else that is worthwhile. Personally, I prefer to avoid the subscription apps.
You don't need a subscription. Sign up for the free trial, disable the chime, then cancel the subscription. The chime stays disabled. Another cool feature you can enable is opening all windows with the remote.

Luckily no problems with pillar rattling...I agree on the others!
90010-23059 volume knob off a rav4, pops right in, looks like the gr-four selector knob and even lights up at night
Awesome! I will check that out
just did this on mine! it works so well i'm wondering why they didn't just do it this way to begin with
What color does it illuminate?
@@xM4RKSM4Nx360x Whiteish, same as the stock one.
Beautiful car, hard to get a hold of. I have a 2020 STI and I’m happy with it but the GR Corolla is on my radar. Love it.

I didn't like how the OEM frameless mirror ran on a battery & wasn't autodimming, so I bought a Gentex & wired it into the fusebox.
I'm going to look into that
Agree with you 100 percent.. I own a Corolla GR Core ice cap white.. Love my GR!
You can try using routines on your phone to mute the music if you pick up a call or have a call incoming.
Yup. There’s probably pre made ones too. Just search for it
Love my circuit GR

I agree on all counts....I am still going to try another approach with the center console

You can turn off the seat belt chime using an advanced scan tool or have a Toyota dealer do it for you.@@Springtailsolutions
PPF the roof with a glossy ppf. Makes the roof pop alot more

Switch to the rav4 button. So much better.
Carista kills the seat belt chime if you disable it.

@@Springtailsolutions I’ve had my Carista for 8 years now and disabled many of my vehicles without any monthly charges

Does this car have dual port injection? Just maybe something more important than washer fluid, but what do I know.
I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings by leaving out the important fuel injection system…I will try to be more inclusive next time.
What a smart ass comment. There are 3000 videos talking about that. Go watching one of those.
@Springtailsolutions Great video. I'm trying to decide on a 2024 premium for a dd.
…lock the seat belts then lay them down before getting in to cancel out annoying warning buzzer
