    Homelink option is available for the GRC. I believe its Toyota PN: PT37400210.
    It's a quick bolt on part with no harness and uses a single-use battery which, unfortunately, can't be replaced. But a source tells me it's rated for 8-10 years of use.
    If you want to go the extra mile and actually plug a constant powered homelink, there is a user in the forums that was able to splice into the existing harness up top with some wire taps, and the homelink he used also has auto-dimming feature as well.

    I have a Supersonic Red GR Corolla Circuit Edition in 🇨🇦. While my wife and I thoroughly enjoy the car there are some things that aren’t the greatest…
    I hate the volume knob on the screen but I’m happy that there is a volume knob to hate 😂.
    I don’t particularly like the cruise control setup and I prefer to have the little stock behind the steering wheel like in my 2016 4Runner but the 4Runner doesn’t have all the fancy adaptive cruise control stuff and it could’ve changed on newer 4runners also but I still prefer to have it behind and on the bottom right of the steering wheel with the little stick style.
    I can see what you mean by the buttons on the steering wheel feeling a bit cheap but I’m ok with them for the most part.
    I would like the back doors to open a little more to make it easier to get my 3.5 year old in to his car seat.
    This is a complaint against all screens that just stick out of the dash and aren’t incorporated nicely but that’s majority of vehicles unfortunately…as you can tell from what I’m complaining about, I’m a bit old school even thought I’m not THAT old 😂 (42 years old). I just don’t like tech for the sake of adding tech when it actually takes away from the ease of use and accessibility of things. You should be concentrating on driving and not diving in to menus to get stuff accomplished but too many buttons are also annoying…at times I can contradict myself.
    My wife doesn’t like that the clutch release point is so high and prefers a lower release and if you have to drive on bumpy roads 1st gear can make it seem like you don’t know how to drive a manual car 😂.
    I agree that the wireless charger is HORRIBLE and the location isn’t ideal.
    I don’t like piano or gloss black on the interior and exterior…in 🇨🇦 our front and rear grille and rear diffuser I’ll call it 🤔 aren’t gloss black like 🇺🇸
    It’s small things but we still enjoy it a lot and I don’t feel that most of my complaints take away from what the car is meant for…the joy of driving.

    • @QueTheChaotic
      @QueTheChaotic  Год назад +1

      I agree! The volume knob feels horrible. It does have a lot of tech and I think that’s a Toyota thing. The clutch engagement point is pretty high so it makes my driving less smooth. With all the negatives (albeit minor) I still have a blast driving this
