if we don't count Shroobser as the final boss of PIT, then both the princess Shroob and the elder princess Shroob had no connection at all with Bowser, so Reclusa is not the first one
@@poke_dex6593 I have no idea why they had to make Shroobser even a boss. Just to die by flames that SOMEHOW hit the spirit above? Lame excuse to keep up the Bowser final boss trend tbh. (idk why I just don't like the trend)
Mario & Luigi: Brothership is a Kirby game in disguise. The bright colours and cute characters are there to lull you into a false sense of security and the darkness hits with the force of a meteor. Not only that, but the finale is an over-the-top spectacle.
38:14 "If you're not... connected to someone... if you're not... tied to something... You can't DO ANYTHING?!" Uhhhh, hate to break it to ya, Reclusa, but isn't that the entire point of electricity? Cords connecting things together?
Thats the Ironic thing with reclusa, he is an Wireless computer that can go individually without any connection, you can see it in also all his wires being cutted and without any plug or connector. Its a pretty smart design with that concept, Reclusa is the absolutely representation of someone who toxicly have a bad opinion about being with something
If I had a nickel for every time the Mario Universe was facing imminent doom at the hands of a psychotic jester, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?
I've watched the ending and final fights of this game several times since I finished the game yesterday and gosh, I can't get over how crazy and amazing this was.
Say what you will about the pacing issues of this game, but you cannot deny that this game ends on a very strong note. After completing the game yesterday, i can safetly say that this is a worthy addition to the mario and luigi saga. I hope in time more will appreciate what this game did right.
That ending with the death of reclusa… it’s really sad. Even though he’s clearly evil you can’t help but feel awful for him… the pain in his robotic eyes makes me tear up…
That section when he is the tree and tou have to use luigi logic to essentially enter the weeping reclusa tree, I got stuck on that for soooooo long because i kept getting hit and had to fight those flower things again just to be able to do it again. I was there for so long that i just turned off the game because i couldn't stand fighting those flowers again, and now im gonna restart the final boss because i seriously needed a break, hope it goes well for me this time
..... ok, so Echoes of Wisdom borrowed Distortion World, and now Brothership basically borrowed Xurkitree. Which Pokemon aspect will Prime 4 borrow, I wonder 😅
Why did I feel a little sorry for Reclusa? 😔 I think... for a moment, some younger, sadder part of me empathized with trying to protect the self externally by going internally... but you see often irl how that can go downhill really fast. 😞 Forcing others to adhere to your fantasy is selfish and unrealistic though! 😠 Good game overall! 👍
"Forcing others to adhere to your fantasy is selfish and unrealistic though! 😠" It sounds like you're scolding him haha. "Bad Reclusa! Bad! Go to your room and think about what you did!"
Cool thumbnail, showing off the final boss mere hours after release. I'm sure everyone would want to see that and won't block your channel here on out.
i understand that getting spoiled isnt fun, but you also need to stay alert to avoid them, play the game until you’ve beaten it yourself and then come back to watch it on youtube. alot of people have uploaded the bosses a day early/ on release
First villian in the whole Mario and luigi series where the final boss has zero connection to Bowser. finally.
Ha! “Connection.”
He also feels like an amalgam of every M&L villain prior.

Reclusa is easily one of my favorite final bosses of all time and his design reminds me of Dimentio.

What's his deal exactly?
(I can't afford any game from dream team onwards, does he have a bit of backstory like fawful or the shroobs?)
@@Unknown-jk7rs no real backstory. He’s just a sadist who loves causing despair for the sake of it.
I don’t feel bad for him because it’s clear that he doesn’t regret his actions for even a second, he even said so before the final blow.
Reclusa turning into his weeping form reminds me of Queen Sectonia from Kirby triple deluxe.
That's exactly half of why I adore Reclusa

I guess Nintendo decided to go another irredeemable villain route for Mario and Luigi.
And what’s the problem with that. Nuanced villains aren’t the only acceptable villain type, sometimes there needs to be a 100% evil character
@@chadpeterson5698 I don’t think there needs to be a 100% evil character but there’s no problem with that.
And we love them for it. Fawful, Cackletta, the Shroobs, hell most of the M and L villains are absolutely irredeemable.
Good

Reclusa has an interesting take but something about him kinda screams missed potential in a sense and the fandom's going to have a field day.
At least his design looks cool
