I got my EDP a month ago and im blown away. The presentation is not very good except for the frosted lion head but the scent is simply amazing. Undoubtedly manly and mature leans toward aromatic fougere but somewhat different. Not a big fan for the opening its very sharp and zesty but after 10 -15 minutes it's settled in aromatic vanilla with cedar and lavander. I sense iris in it. Extremely long lasting on skin to me projected for 6 hours and remained skin scent for 20 and more. Highly recommended for mature classy gentleman.
I've been using this scent for the past 14 years. The most complimented fragrance ever in my collection. The price on this has sky rocketed over the years.
I never got the BdP association, but I love. It's drier and has a metallic edge that is unique. It changes and drifts through different accords over the life of the dry down: it's very well balanced from head to base notes. I have three 75cc bottles of the EdP, and yeah, I got the white box testers which includes the cap. Three thumbs up.
Great review, love this EDP! I actually like it more than the Creed (Bois Du Portugal) as it does not have a couple of notes that I did not like in the Creed. True find for the overall quality and price. Love it in the winter!

I enjoy a solid classic masculine scent profile every now and again. Both my wife and mother in law hated Boi de Portugal on me so I’m not sure how they will feel about the Lalique ~ think I’m gonna pull the trigger on the smaller bottle though as I personally like the way Creeds Boi de Portugal smells

Excellent review! I picked-up Lalique Pour Homme Equus over the Summer and liked it (unique scent and good value) but haven't spent much with it. Regardless, I will have to check this one out, for sure.
Just purchased it last week. The first 30 minutes are really generic. Once it starts to dry-down it smells amazing. Wonderful beater / signature scent if you can get past the opening. Lalique's offerings seem unbeatable for the prices. Cheers, Alex
Hermon Bennett I was looking for a cheaper Creed BdP clone/alternative...would you still say Lalique smells the closest thing to BdP for under $50 budget??
Accidentally bought this one 😅meant to get the one with the horse, but this ones nice. I like the wet smell it has with musk.. smells classic and light, but now I got to order the other one....
I love Lalique fragrances. I have White and Encre Noir Sport. I sampled this and a few of their others and really liked them.
Equus is beautiful too. Definitely a hidden gem.
This is my number #1...
I got one coming on the mail, this would be my third bottle. Just love it.

Man the drydown is amazing when it become a skin scent. It smells like oakmoss and vanilla.

Classic, Elegant, excellent work scent, try Boucheron Pour Homme EDP a brother of Lalique pour homme.
Jose Landaverde Boucheron edp is beautiful, definitely up there with Lalique PH

Its cloying and synthetic to me...bois to Portugal is beautiful and balanced, not so the Lalique.
