Mr.Smelly, wearing this one right now. Very subtle but sosphicated in its dry down. I also enjoy Lhommage Voyager. Underrated house imo. Thanks for your take on this one. Peace and be well my friend ✌
Just got this one (75 ml tester) extremely cheap for only 12,70 €. Man, this smells more like a 90€ gentleman´s scent. Really quality by Lalique. What I get is mainly bitter citruses and cedar wood. Ideal for professional / formal occasions. I don´t see myself wearing this a lot as it is so very gentlemanly (40+, formal dress) but I quite like it as it is so refreshing - great for the hot days. But still prefere the Pour Homme Equus (Horse version) which is much more versatile and totally perfect even for the younger guys (25+ casual / formal).
MrSmelly excellent unboxing I don't know if you notice but Bois du Portugal it's been discontinued, not only the haven't bring any bottles of 100ml but the 75ml it's also gonne, my guess is that they are getting rid of the ones they have in stock and that it's all so thanks for the suggestion I already order a bottle of this Lalique, it's 29 bucks for 120ml so you can't go wrong with that 👌
I just pitted Bois du Portugal and Lalique Pour Homme EDP against each other. I got my wife to compare the two: of course she didn’t like either, casting aspersions at both, calling them Old Man Scents (what does she know), but said that the lesser of the two evils was BDP. I also like this one better, has more character and panache. i got the Lalique in 2002, it being one of the few EDP scents marketed toward men back then. I still like them both, though. Looking forward to your thoughts Mr. Smelly !
Wow, very cool. Would definitely like to see a full review of this one. Your the one that turned me on to Bois De Portugal! There's fragrances that you like, and then there's one you LOVE smelling on yourself... And that's Bois De For me. Wouldn't have ever even tried it if it weren't for your gleaming reviews of it. I'm definitely going to have to look into this one if it's even anything close to that! Thank you for sharing your first impression , brother! 👍👍
Received my vintage paco rabanne pour homme today ..fantastic recommdation Mr smelly ..wow this stuff really performs , to experience oak moss how it intended to be is really amazing. Not sure it's everyone's cup of tea in 2018 but thankfully my girlfriend loves it (she loves brut) , I have a huge collection and now I think this may of sparked my vintage buying stage argh lol
i saw one other review where he compared the two and said BDP is more elegant and prominent, but its hard to find now, but lalique wont be such a bad fragrance after all i feel as they sound similar and lalique is much cheaper as well.i love the bottle design
I've smelled Creed Bois Du Portugal several times in the past year and do enjoy the overall scent. I'm in my early 30's and can appreciate all fragrances from Kouros to Dior Sauvage. But I am on a budget, so would Lalique Pour Homme be the CLOSEST ALTERNATIVE (also sub $50 price point) to Creed Bois Du Portugal? Thanks to anyone who can chime in and give me some insight on this!
Howdy Dan....I know u love BDP, and I know I'm liking it a lot. Looking forward to hear about longevity.. surely, it'll not be up to Creed standards..? But could you compare both longevity and quality to Creed BDP? Thanks man, Mark
EDT more strong more projection Rosemary and citrus very prominent , EDP is more smooth quiet "safe" almost more modern but personally I prefer EDT and my Girlfriend EDP although she likes neither (:
The difference between Lalique pour homme edp and Bois de Portugal that Lalique is full of ISO E super. If you do not believe me have some courages and spray on your neck then experience and taste the burning of the skin of the neck. Not only This Lalique one but Encre noir is the same. Just simple trial for proofing! Apparently, Lalique perfumery works at low standard targetting cheapies market

Great choice mate, fantastic elegant and quiet scent. Love it!
Thanks Monsieur loving it so far.
Did you ever do a full comparison of these 2... I assume that you have the EDP version?
Looking forward to the full review. What do you think of Lalique Equus EDP which I am very tempted to blind buy. Any love for Carons and Carvens?
I own this EdP as well but have yet to warm up to it. Something strange goes on with the vegetal and cedar combo...

nice test strip, where can I buy them?
I love this one and I think it reminds me of Satorial

i recently tried bdp, its amazing, very classic and masculine. hard to find.ill definitely try this one :) thanks a lot brother :)
Thanks Joy. It's not exactly the same but pretty sure you'll like it if you like Bois du P.

I don't find it much like BdP, but do love it.
I'm interested to get your further review on LpH now.
Performance is really good on this Dan. Super pick up 👌.
Thanks a lot I watched your video featuring this - good video!
BDP is very masculine to me, I love it. I may be too young for it still. I’m 31 but I think it’s so classy
Not too young, if you are a responsible mature man, who has loads of confidence...if so, wear the shit out of it Cheers!
I’m 31 too I’m getting it BDP all the way ‼️
i have this one, very good scent.

Thanks Sardar. Coming soon!
Thank You, Dan - A very classy perfume 👍🏼
Absolutely love this juice its amazing.
Thanks for watching Jeremy.
BdP & Lalique Pour Homme were just to "Old Man" smelling for me when I tried them back in like 2000. Maybe I'm old enough now to appreciate them...
Way to get it done! Keep up the great work!
Howdy Dan....I know u love BDP, and I know I'm liking it a lot. Looking forward to hear about longevity.. surely, it'll not be up to Creed standards..? But could you compare both longevity and quality to Creed BDP?
Thanks man,

Thanks Mark yes I will do that.
Wow! I gotta try this!
Have you tried the edt? If so, What is the difference
EDT more strong more projection Rosemary and citrus very prominent , EDP is more smooth quiet "safe" almost more modern but personally I prefer EDT and my Girlfriend EDP although she likes neither (:
Use the lalique for years. Kind of dry woody floral. Smells a bit dated
