Brought minds to a mechanic today just to changed the brake pads and rotors. Then he calls me and say the caliper is pushed out and need to be replaced. They cheated me I feel because they probably never put it on EPM or just didn’t know what they was doing. It wasn’t like that before I bought it to them. I feel like they rip me off.. good video

If the Pad was not metal on metal the caliper was not pushed out!! I would call them on that. Accidents do happen. I do it too sometimes but I would never make the customer pay for my mistake.

@@ralfsautomotive the pad were metal on metal. But I caught it as soon as it happened and took it to the mechanic. The breaks were not stuck when I was driving. It only made noise when I pressed the breaks. I feel like it was their mistake

Don't you have to put the brake system into Maintenance Mode first?

What are the torque specs for the calipers?

Do you know how many miles this one had? My 2020 only has 30K miles and the front brakes are warped badly.
