I spent many years playing metal on my strat and sounded like SRV instead of Dave Mistaine. It wasn't until I got a Flying V with humbuckers that I knew what I was missing. I recommend a Jackson RRXT
That opening riff w/o cheating, sticking to the down stroke, is the death of me. You kill it man. Love your channel, you're incorporated into so many of my playlists, it's a nice and welcomed distraction at work. Fucking A bud, never stop shredding.
Noice! I just started learning this song. About 1:30 into it. Just need to get what I have perfect before moving on. This song's pretty quick, but makes you feel so badass! xD
dude I am impressed.you seem to not even be straining in the least.love seeing people play that well.always humbles me and makes me practices even harder next time.thanks for the tutorial man.
Great job man! this was the 1st LOG song I heard and saw the video for(at the same time) I just remember it blowing my mind. just this monster riff, and these guys ripping up this mexican church lol and blythe w what I now refer to as his pterodactyl scream. I was HOOKED! bought the album a week later and it is still hands down my fav LOG album!
The Randall Rm series are the ones that have pre amps modules that simulate heaps of tones. The pre amp I used for this was a Mark V. They are spot on and copy Marshalls, boogies, fenders. I got a duel rectifier, Kirk Hammetts KH2 and a randall one.
This is such a killer solo to get your feet wet in soloing great song choice man! Ive been playing for years but never had the patience for soloing and finally this is a song where I can get started!
bro... awesome video... i just checked out your videos ... and hell yeah ... all these times i thought you were a 18yr old kid... until your other videos showed striking resemblance of you with john campbell!! \m/ .. man seriously lamb of god runs in your veins!! :D
thanks man, they cost a fortune in Australia. A new Mark V is $5700 just for the head, we aren't allowed to buy them direct from US. I'd kill for a boogie but I guess I got the next best thing
Kickin job dude, got to this video from your vigil cover. Not that this tone is bad, I did prefer the more chunky tone of that vigil cover. Still good job tho :)
Hey thanks :D That helped me too, i am thinking of buying Jackson RRXT seems pretty good and clean sound guitar and it has a good prize :) Thanks man !
that log tone is sooo hard to get without spending all that money on a mesa boogie or Mark v. I have the a7x custom schecter, any hints on how to get a more log tone while sticking to budget.
Jeremy Ratliff sell ur expensive ass guitar for a cheaper schecter w actives and spend the extra money on a nice amp. can recommend orange terror series for budget
Can you please write the tabs for the first part of the solo, your the only person ive seen so far that can actually play it 100% correct everyone else seems to be missing a few notes.
Some picking. Just starting to look at LOG stuff. The left hand patterns ain't too bad. Just need to work on the picking so I can keep up to speed and it's clean. Nice cover.
+LambChopper678 I've slowing been doing the same thing. I wasn't sure if they're was something better. but when I get stuck I always check what your doing! keep being awesome!
I can't find a clear enough live version to answer this question. I thought they tended to play more on the D string more than the A string. I know you have the correct notes played but are they on the proper fret? I just want to play it how they do. Same note, different tone for different string though.
It was some time ago when I worked this one out but I remember using the Killadelphia DVD to do so. I'm pretty sure I played it in the same neck positions, it wasn't the easiest song to figure out though.
Wow 5700 for the head alone??!!? I prefer the mark IV over the V, just cause I only played the IV setting (on the V). I got a buddy selling a mark IV combo for $900.
Why do you not own a Mark IV????? Don't get me wrong, that sounds amazing, I just figure as much as you jam lamb you'd have one. I picked up the small body combo, used, last year....id never sell it.
I've never heard of that amp before, but I like it better than Amplitube. Don't get me wrong, your Amplitube covers are awesome but nothing beats a real amp.
+MrFredstt The track is not too hard, but stamina required and downpicking speed is not for beginners. I can play the track, but only about 85% of the real speed. Currently working on improving my downpicking speed. It is now obvious to me that this will take a VERY LONG time for me to get up to speed.
MrFredstt I found Enter Sandman & Wherever I may roam by Metallica to be good beginner tunes, but it helps to learn something you actually like as working it out is easier due to the fact you are familiar with the song. However, the tracks I mentioned above won't necessarily improve you downpicking speed. But they will get you used to moving around the fret board at speed and they both incorporate things like alternate picking, hammer-ons etc. I can't really say what will help with downpicking speed as I am trying to improve my own. I think just playing tunes like RUIN at slower speeds and gradually building up is prob the best approach
Jus thought there was abit of a time delay with the audio to the video and arent their pinch harmonics in this why wtf do you think hes doing it in perfect time if he is i swear theres a delay on the video
Seems like u dont know about picking style of mark morton.. Watch his guitar lesson where he teach to be powerful on ur upstroke as u r on ur downstroke.. Why waste energy on downpicking
I can see Angle of Deth in the background!
I'm sorry dude I don't use tabs, I work everything out by ear and by watching concerts to see if I'm in the right area
I spent many years playing metal on my strat and sounded like SRV instead of Dave Mistaine. It wasn't until I got a Flying V with humbuckers that I knew what I was missing. I recommend a Jackson RRXT
Srry I know this is old but watching the movement of your hands has matured my playing thank you bro🤌
That opening riff w/o cheating, sticking to the down stroke, is the death of me. You kill it man. Love your channel, you're incorporated into so many of my playlists, it's a nice and welcomed distraction at work. Fucking A bud, never stop shredding.
this is the art of ruin! this is the resolution!! amazing cover
in the process of learning this and as the palaces burn, learning is the easy part, getting it up to speed...not as easy lol
For real man
Very much a rhythm feel for Lamb songs, that's what really makes it complicated just shift the timing a lot
Noice! I just started learning this song. About 1:30 into it. Just need to get what I have perfect before moving on. This song's pretty quick, but makes you feel so badass! xD

Such a great tune, I'm learning this one as well
Great cover! Can you please do some Death covers as well? That would just be AWESOME.
Behold the flesh and the power it holds!
@@SoChilledOutGuy There is no hope, why don't you? PULL THE PLUG!!!
Awesome cover man. I have seen all of your LoG covers and you haven't let me down yet. Keep up the good work.
You da man. Nice job. I just re learned that one minus the solo. It brought me back to my highschool days. Good shit dude
this is just perfect. Great job dude.
Too sick!!! I’m learning that shit today! 🤣
bro... awesome video... i just checked out your videos ... and hell yeah ... all these times i thought you were a 18yr old kid... until your other videos showed striking resemblance of you with john campbell!! \m/ .. man seriously lamb of god runs in your veins!! :D
sounds fun dude, just got a few projects to get through of my own first
thanks man, they cost a fortune in Australia. A new Mark V is $5700 just for the head, we aren't allowed to buy them direct from US. I'd kill for a boogie but I guess I got the next best thing
Ain't nobody got no time for dat
Tight like a tiger. Immense cover mate.
This video alone just got you another subscriber. Great work man ;)
Thanks man, welcome
MAN YOU ARE SICK. I AM A FAN!
Just flawless as usual! I would love to see you killing Set To Fail! I was hoping to find cover from you, but you haven't made one...yet;)
hey man, thats some technical stuff there, mike morton sure gonna be proud when he sees u play man!keep rocking dude \m/
Amazing. Found this cover by trying to look up an instrumental only version of this actually lol
glad you liked it man, pretty awesome song
This deserves more vieuws! perfect job!
Welcome man
Mark morton was a beast with those scales
Amazing! Mark and Willie would be proud. \m/
Why can't I play as fast as 2:45 I love that part but I can't stop/start my hand that fast.
+FightFireWitFIre take it slow with a metronome and you will eventually get it .. work on your alternate picking .
My first favourite metal song
Nicely done!
I love your covers...keep it coming, especially the LoG one's... in honor of Randy
Way better than other videos, tone wise.
Kickin job dude, got to this video from your vigil cover. Not that this tone is bad, I did prefer the more chunky tone of that vigil cover. Still good job tho :)
Sick cover!!!
Nice job my brother!
that was deadly.
Okay, sounds good to me, keep me updated okay, meanwhile I'll be working on the vocals , Randy Blythe is one tough vocalist, I must nail it x)
You even have the right tuning bravo
It's literally just Drop D
that's pretty easy
Hey thanks :D That helped me too, i am thinking of buying Jackson RRXT seems pretty good and clean sound guitar and it has a good prize :) Thanks man !
My favorite LOG track
Thanks
Nice angel of deth!!
That's nice tone
I want that sound for my guitar
Nice!
Amplitube metal lets you import songs and slow them down to work out the fast bits
u killed it! nice!\m/
good job man
that log tone is sooo hard to get without spending all that money on a mesa boogie or Mark v. I have the a7x custom schecter, any hints on how to get a more log tone while sticking to budget.
Lots of mid, and treble. Also quite a bit of gain, but definitely less than the amount of treble or mid you dial in. Don't scoop the mid
Jeremy Ratliff sell ur expensive ass guitar for a cheaper schecter w actives and spend the extra money on a nice amp. can recommend orange terror series for budget
peavey 6505 mh with harley benton vintage 2x12 cab. And why the expensive guitar
leftbeef exactly. No need for an expensive guitar if your amp isn't awesome
You can have a guitar that cost a grand or a guitar that cost 200 but it’s nothing without a good amp bro
I want this damn guitar 😭
is this the dominion or cheap model chopper? i don't know if i can get this guitar from spain
+biucc23 No, it's the Japanese pro model, they don't make them there anymore. It's all Mexico now
+LambChopper678 i would like buy this guitar, but watching my neighbour stores haven't can you help me with some pages or some method to get it =/ Ty
indonesia
Jajaja tengo puesto la misma camiseta hoy!!!!
I find that on a 24.75" guitar, using a 52 instead of the normal 46 makes for perfect tension when dropping the low E to a D.
Don't know what the right gauge would be for a longer scale though
goooooodddddddddd
you play like a pro.
Can you please write the tabs for the first part of the solo, your the only person ive seen so far that can actually play it 100% correct everyone else seems to be missing a few notes.
You won. I subscribed.
Some picking. Just starting to look at LOG stuff. The left hand patterns ain't too bad. Just need to work on the picking so I can keep up to speed and it's clean. Nice cover.
damn man sounds good. I'm surprised you don't have a mesa mark v 25 at least.
I do now, I got one in 2014
+LambChopper678 oh lol. I didn't realize what year this was posted. I'm going to check out your channel. I didn't have a chance to earlier
You use alternate on all lamb of god songs because of timing. THEYRE ALL ON TIME
amazing playing dude. You shred! You may have answered this , but where do you find your sheet music for the lamb of god stuff? Keep rocking!! 🤘
Thanks mate, I worked them all out be ear
+LambChopper678 I've slowing been doing the same thing. I wasn't sure if they're was something better. but when I get stuck I always check what your doing! keep being awesome!
biomanjv check out songsterr it has the tabs with playthough
Thats guitar tune os more then aesime sounding and me shakin me like the evil snake

LambChopper678 . Thanks for the reply man! I'll go with this.
I want that guitar
Rad fucking rad
What kind of strings do you use? Those things barely move. Makes playing fast easier.
Ernie ball 10-52’s
Awesome guitar cover, just wondering how do you learn to play these songs at spend, like any program used to slow the song down at all?
Wow 5700 for the head alone??!!? I prefer the mark IV over the V, just cause I only played the IV setting (on the V). I got a buddy selling a mark IV combo for $900.
sick shit man....could you possibly cover imortally insane by pantera? it has a badass riff
Why do you not own a Mark IV????? Don't get me wrong, that sounds amazing, I just figure as much as you jam lamb you'd have one. I picked up the small body combo, used, last year....id never sell it.
So the tuning is d? Not drop d right?
Drop D
What model jackson is that? And how much $ was it?
Ha that's funny, I'm 34 in a few days lol
Hey man! I was wondering, when playing it, I use only downstroke, but you use alternate picking most of the time, why that?
I'm not that fast at down picking but I try and play all these songs the same way as Willie and Mark.
Oh ok! Thanks! I was wondering how did they play it too! Good job by the way and nice guitars!
LambChopper678 . Rightly so since you have all the gear :0
Read an interview, they alternate pick cause downpicking at high tempo is too hard for them, everyone isn't James Hetlfield to them^^
hey man can u send me the tabs for the solo? i learned to play it but i dont think im playing it right
Effen Subbed!
I've never heard of that amp before, but I like it better than Amplitube. Don't get me wrong, your Amplitube covers are awesome but nothing beats a real amp.
what size of 6 string you use?
Bad Ass ;)
Triggers me that u dont downstroke the first part 😂 nice cover tho 🤘🏻
Willie and Mark don’t either
Hey Man Wanna Cover it together? I know a bass player, I'm only a drummer short
Can you please do a cover of 11th hour
I’ve done that and given a lesson on it I think
@@LambChopper678 oh I can't see it in your lamb of god section.
Search 11th hour guitar cover bro, it’s there 🤘🏻
what guitar is?
is this tuned in drop c?
MD Gaming© Drop D
k thx
+LambChopper678 drop d standard?or just the 6th string
+Vishwas Shetty The notes are DADGBE so only the 6th string is dropped
blood 99 thnkx buddy :-)
Would this piece be difficult to learn for a beginner?
+MrFredstt Yes! Picking technique is rigorous
+MrFredstt The track is not too hard, but stamina required and downpicking speed is not for beginners. I can play the track, but only about 85% of the real speed. Currently working on improving my downpicking speed. It is now obvious to me that this will take a VERY LONG time for me to get up to speed.
p4fizzle Can you recommend to me any beginner guitar pieces? Preferably heavy metal, but regular rock is fine too.

p4fizzle Thank you :) May I ask what kind of electric guitar you use?
Man your playing is spot on. Awesome stuff. Idk if you like 10 years there more alternative but I did some new covers, check them out sometime man
Why is it so hard for you to google it?
Great cover but it will be better w main riff full down picking, may going to injury ur wrist but worth it
who the fuck are you,you are amazing.
well tht doesnt mean u can't write the tabs out man
is this guy actually playin this
+Edouard Girdlestone Wtf do you think he's doing?
Jus thought there was abit of a time delay with the audio to the video and arent their pinch harmonics in this why wtf do you think hes doing it in perfect time if he is i swear theres a delay on the video
Clicked thinking this was Shawn Mendes'
Why are there no fucking tutorials for this song?
all good and all but they downpick most time where you alternate. seen em live many times. good try though
Seems like u dont know about picking style of mark morton.. Watch his guitar lesson where he teach to be powerful on ur upstroke as u r on ur downstroke.. Why waste energy on downpicking
Very evil i r8 666
