Not really. In shows and movies, the high schoolers are typically anywhere from 19-24, which is way more accurate than the 80s,90s, etc where they literally had people in their 30s playing them lmao

John Kransinski is in his FORTIES and playing a high school student. He isn't even a little embarrassed by these parts.
Embarrassed? It's on SNL not a real movie. It's part of what makes it funny the fact he's way too old for such a part. I still find it humous when older actors play kids in real movies too though.

Very likely it's a prop, and not real. Shows, films, and commercials often don't want to pay licensing fees [or run into clearance issues], so they just use props, or 'Greek' the trademarked logo/brand/etc so it can't be fully recognizable, in order to avoid clearance issues.
Manga aren’t printed in magazines like that it’s likely fake manga are printed in much bigger comic booklets (I’m not talking about the books like Naruto but the shounens print in a thick looking book)
