The spot on early 2000’s styling, Mikey chanting “ugly! baby!”, Spooky’s dancing, the audience reactions, Sarah yelling “fight me bitch!” This sketch is perfect 😂
Mikey Day's character's hair (including his facial hair) in the Corey Show is the most accurate thing about the type of men who would regularly appear on Maury.
Right, that's the "I bought this outfit at Kohl's yesterday" vibe of a man who needed something to wear on TV but has only owned graphic tees up to this point
I just gotta say, people grind their whole life, Bhad Bhabie was on Dr. Phil in 2016, not even 10 years ago and she’s made $50million and when her daughter she’s pregnant with now sees that footage in her privileged life on a $8k 8k, she will not be embarrassed. She will learn to love the stench of their own farts and humans will be made that much more the lesser that day.
Considering this is all staged, their real life self might be somewhat better than this, so I expect more of them to be somewhat successful. Not a lot, but more.
This skit had me crying. It was so unexpected and spot on. The parents and granny were so rachet when they were young, but now all prim and proper. Best skit of the night!!!
Between this and Pongo, she really proved last season there's more to her than just being loud. And her appearance as CJ Rossitano (aka Colin's son) the week after this was possibly the best-received WU feature of the season (according to votes on /r/LiveFromNewYork, it was second only to the Christmas joke swap).
This was a great sketch and actually gives light to something real that can be affecting those kids now. There's plenty of those kids who were the subject of these paternity tests who are now adults/young adults and get to see their parents behaving like this just for a TV appearance. Course I'm sure plenty acted similar to this raising their kids but plenty shape up and settle down as well. Lovely.
This sketch was SO on point. Everyone nailed it. Mikey Day's 90's faux hip hop baggy gear, hairstyle, facial hair configuration, and expressions were perfect. He immersed himself in this one. Totally believable. Dakota does have a "fine ass". Very versatile actress. "God is real, Yo!" Shout out to James Austin Johnson as Maury Povitch-type host. He nails it. Always contributes mightily to every sketch he's in. Overall, this and 'Please Don't Destroy' were 2 best sketches of the evening, and glad I only watched these two on Sunday morning. "Fight me, bitch!!"
I gotta say, this, along with the Please Don’t Destroy sketch, has to be one of the best and funniest sketches of the night! My favorite part was when Mikey Day got hit with that chair. I busted up laughing so hard, I almost hurt my gut! 😂
I thought the Please Don’t Destroy sketch was hilarious because of her. She was a natural with that dry comedy and going back and forth with them. You could tell some of those insults by both sides were actually thoughts that once crossed their minds, even if just for a few seconds 😂 I wonder if she wrote her lines for it or if they did.
I love SNL, but I seldom watch a sketch twice in a row. This is one of those that I DID. It has been added to my file of all-time FAVORITE SNL Sketches. Absolutely BRILLIANT and HILARIOUS!! 😂
This is the hardest Ive laughed at SNL in a minute! whole thing was gold, everybody killed it! Mikey is hilarious as always. Marcello's "Shut up, shut up!" and "Who want some?!" was so on point lmaooo. Maury was truly such a mess😂
This is my favorite sketch of the season… it took me so off guard and I was cackling and wheezing on the couch (something that I wish happened more with SNL). Plus knowing the context of the Maury show makes it even better 😂
I need to know which writer(s) did this immediately. Give them raises. This was so well done. Also props to Dakota and her comedic timing. 10/10 all around.
25 years ago they did it again . Maury . could have done this 😂a thousand times can I write a joke on this shit I😢. Watching fast food house there's a plot
I don't know how to explain it but the writers seem to take inspiration from both the old and new eras of SNL. Well done.
Humor is timeless.

Dakota's legs swinging as security held her back was hilarious
YES! Both her costume and her physical humour made her character the bust-out laugh for me :)
Missed that first time. Thanks.
Dakota is killing this episode.!!! Wow.!!
EXACTLY the security didn’t have to try hard to pick her up too LMAO

The fake fighting absolutely sold this sketch for me. This got to be one of the funniest sketches of the day 😭

The fact that someone was named Spooky.
It's a really gleefully put together sketch.
Spooky's clothes is what did it for me, I still remember my brothers had t shirts like that 😂
@@Valeriamtzp for real, just the BIGGEST clothes you could possibly wear 😂
Early 2000s for VERY trashy people, at least with Mikey Day's character lol
Mikey Day's character's hair (including his facial hair) in the Corey Show is the most accurate thing about the type of men who would regularly appear on Maury.
You're they are all a F-boys on Maury
It’s incredible 😂
I was thinking the same, the whole outfit too but ESPECIALLY the pants for some reason 😭
yep ahaha
The wrinkled but going to court vibe is strong with that outfit.
Whoever costumed Mikey Day for this sketch was a genius.
From the hair down to the oversized clothes... brilliant
Right, that's the "I bought this outfit at Kohl's yesterday" vibe of a man who needed something to wear on TV but has only owned graphic tees up to this point
ABSOLUTELY did their homework, hahaha
That was the 2000s bro "I'm dressing up" shirt

the innocent looks of mikey and dakota IM CRYING 😂😂😂
I was crying too!! 😂😂 This was a great skit!!
That's the best part! No embarrassment. Just total pride. 🤣

This whole Maury sketch feels like a Boebert family reunion or something. 😂
This looks familiar 🤔😂
🍿 😂
LEGEND
@Maury YOOOO
Hello Mr. Maury I watched your show every day after school
Yoooooo
“Whatever happens I still plan on being in this baby’s life” 🤣LOL! That’s so accurate!
So is the "YEEEUH! GOD IS REEEAL, Y'ALL!!"
technically, it was true 😭
Especially the part when they say “you’re not the father” & he starts celebrating
Tbh, I was expecting the announcement to break that he wasn't the father, and Spooky would go, "YEAAAAH, GOD EXISTS YALL, PEACE." And he just bounces
What a funny is that he didn't lol
I love that wholesome and coy grin Dakota gives Andrew after he sees her “I got this ass” dance. She has such great comedic timing.
I would describe her expression as confidently defiant against society's ideal of a mother.
And the innocent shrug.
And the grandma’s smile 😅
This is the best sketch the new cast has made. I love it!
I think sooo too😭
I think it sucked

The looks Dakota and Sarah gave Andrew were perfect lol
Those smiles seriously cracked me up. They nailed it.
Sarah def found her acting ground finally 😂
That little smile at 1:54 is great 😂
The way she was just staring at him after "that aaass" part just beaming with no shame had me rolling😂😂😂

3:22 not the chair throw 🤣

What!?!
STEEEEEEEEEEEEVE!
Steve! Steve! Steve! Steve! Steve!
STEVE WILKOS IS IN THE BUILDING

😂😂😂 He looked so sketchy with that silly haircut.
One of the best sketches EVER! Those kids are definitely at the age to experience this!! 🤣😂🤣
She has taken on KateMcKinnon's role of being the batty old lady.
The ending of the skit was so excellent lmao
Mikey's stunt guy the real MVP.
For real. He slammed his head on the floor when he threw him into the wall.
The “Fight me b*tch!” from Sarah was the best 😂

This is the best pronunciation of the word “daughter” I’ve ever heard.
God his dance at 2:55 kills me, like he's head of a marching band
This is exactly what I think about when I see something like this happening on TV. Those kids will see that one day and frankly, it's kind of sad.

Best part of the sketch for me.

The wink at the end, priceless! Like a soap opera, his real dad switched the DNA test results!
I am a long time fan. Since mid 1970’s premiere.
The acting made it!
Sarah had me dying “My dawwwturr”🤣🤣🤣🤣

Crazy how this turned from Maury to full on Jerry Springer. Hilarious af

Not enough people talking about how good Spooky and Corey were as supporting characters 😂 Really added to the sketch!!
The payoff at the end, of Spooky promising to stay involved in his life no matter what … 🧑🍳💋
I have a feeling 99.9 percent of the couples on these types of shows DO NOT end up in a "happily ever after" situation😂.

They are lucky😂
IF they do they don't end up in that house.

Marcello looking really good in nurse clothes.
"I switch the results"

I didn't. I thought thg ey were just going to have the wink and leave it ambiguous or implied.
This was so good, great writing. The parents being so happy and not understanding how upsetting it is...great performances also.
I think this skit shows how love and beauty can come from even the most unexpected situations. That ugly baby looked half-normal as an adult.
Cool to see Sarah in these utility role she has more range than many give her credit for.
Right. This changed my mind about her.
The Joy Behar/ Reba McEntire wig sent me😂😂😂
