Great info on Colorado upgrades. I'm a fan of LED's and followed your examples to brighten my interior and exterior lighting. I really wanted to swap out my reflector headlights for a unit with projectors but there didn't seem to be many options and the one I found looked like more of a project than I wanted to tackle. So my Lasfit's are on order. (Go Packers)

@@rslayback89 I had the same problem, I put my bodyweight against the housing as I screwed it back in. still ended up with about 1/10 inch of a gap with the membrane showing slightly. I fiddled with it for about 30 minutes, couldn't get it to sit any other way. Seems like once you pull the housing out - the connectors at the back pull out a tad, try pushing them back in with your finger or lightly with a screw driver. I couldn't get it to sit any better than what you are describing.
Seems to me after inspection their design is flawed, the gasket runs about 1/4 inch or so in from the outer edge of the light, so dirt falls down into the channel. The gasket is compressed and not resilient, it's cheap foam about a half inch by 3/16" thick. I couldn't find any definite leak/dirt trails but it hasn't leaked since I replaced it. I was worried also, but two rain storms later and three inspections later its totally fine.
