You need to change out that factory shifter knob for a 2019 Chevy blazer knob it’s so annoying hitting your knee on that thing all the time And it looks so much better.
I thought about it but my knee literally never even comes close to the shift knob. 🤷♂️

Yeah it's unfortunate, but there are a lot of cars out there with designs that promote rock chip damage. That's why any car I care about will be XPEL'd in the future to prevent that exact feeling.

Did you notice any reduction in the screen sensitivity after adding the film? After doing many cell phone screen protectors over the years, I've noticed that a few brands do notice the film on there, especially when it's a glass protector.
None at all. I have one on my Corvette touch screen as well and there is no reduction in sensitivity.

how much did it cost?
If its a daily driver that stuff is nothing but a mess after a few years. Even keeping it clean it starts getting dirt around the edges pealing a little etc. The stuff takes a lot of time and work to remove. Then the paint correction to fix the slight scratching that occurs to get it all off. Ill never use a clear film paint protector again. I did use a very reputable one and followed all the care instructions.
Definitely the opposite of what I've noticed so far. The truck is my daily driver and I haven't noticed any of the things you've stated. I've also had it on my ZR1 for almost 2 years now, zero issues. 🤷♂️ Maybe you had a bad install?

Blackout Tinting is 300 miles from me so bit too far. Do you know any similar place in North NJ you'd recommend? I recently got a red Z71 and would like to have the same protection for the paint.
Unfortunately I don't know of any detail shop anywhere in the US that is as good as Blackout Tinting. I've been to a lot of them and none of them made me happy, there was always crap work and high prices. With Blackout Tinting I finally found THE detail shop for me.

It definitely is. I have my Corvette 100% covered because it's black and XPEL keeps it looking good.
Have you used this on anything else? Does it yellow or get brittle over time?
My ZR1 and my C8 Corvette have it. My ZR1 is going on 3 years with it and no yellowing. XPEL offers a 10 year warranty against yellowing and cracking/peeling.

Hey Ryan, this install would have been around 1400.00. I can get the exact amount for you after I talk to the guys at Blackout Tinting.
Have you noticed any effect on mpg since removing the front bumper air dam? I want to remove mine but I’m a little worried about losing the functionality of it. I know it helps with engine cooling as well.
Literally ZERO difference. There was someone else who took it off and tested it through around 400 miles and noted not a single mpg difference.

The stock stuff in front of the rear tire is mylar. Fyi just ordered the tinted license plate cover and sending it to blackout tinting for paint protection.

Just put down payment on 2021 Colorado. Didnt notice near as much need for leveling kit. Maybe it's just the version I got or has it changed year by year the need? I ordered the leveling kit just in case.
No change in ride height that I've heard of unless you got a ZR2.
