“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 “
And everyone in your videos has such straight WIDE smiles/jaws. No crowding of teeth. Probably good nutrition in development
I've learned that crowding of teeth comes from not chewing enough, for example from not eating enough nuts, raw veggies, whole grains and fiber in general as well as from how we brush our teeth 👍 In most modern industrialized countries we eat too much soft foods that do not really require much chewing at all let alone require our guts to work 😉
It's genetics - but yes also good diet high in fibre /things which require chewing. Apparently black people who grew up in the West also have extremely strong teeth, to the extent that some dentists know they will be in for hard job when removing them!
After your sarcastic videos I cannot tell if you are serious or not.... Is that true?
This is what God does best!!!! His ways are higher than man’s ways!!
I wish I could try this. Africans have the whitest, healthiest teeth I have ever seen!
Miswak sticks are sold on Amazon. But lately I have been windering if ANY stick would work (provided it is not poisonous) like oak or apple.....
@@vbetta8979 I only know in general that a lot of sticks used as tooth brushes also contain good ingredients that additionally strenghten the teeth 👍 So I guess there are reasons why specific sticks were chosen traditionally and not just any 😉
Such a wonderful way of living. Your village seems so in harmony with nature
thank goodness for the bounty nature provides
I brush my teeth but still use it because it's healthy for the gum and teeth too. We use it in Senegal
My grandfather used to use it. We lost connection with mother nature. Your videos remind me of mindful living.
Thanks for sharing the information!
Most people are familiar with using neem chew sticks because it has medicinal properties but never heard of guava sticks. If this is the case then perhaps the most trees can be used as a chew stick
OMG, your teeth are PERFECT!
Meanwhile here in Finland, still these days when hiking and you don’t carry a toothbrush the traditional alternative is to use birch sticks in the exactly same manner as guava in this vid. I wonder if one reason for using birch is that it’s the natural source for xylitol (sugar that is good for teeth). 😬
😲
That's a good point...
What a beautiful life
How do guava branches taste in comparison to other branches available?
Love the videos!
In India people traditionally use a stick from the Neem tree which has natural astringent properties
Thank you for sharing! I love these videos, so informative and interesting! I wish I can visit Uganda one day
In Nepal terai we use Neem stick i don't know what it's called in English but it's bitter anti bacterial and good for the gums and help with bad breath
Thank you for sharing your world with us❤
It was a thing that used my babysitter, she is from Etiopia ❤
Reminds me of chaw sticks in jamaica, or heather branches in old western europe before they switched to rubbing with linen. I think most cultures have this similar idea/technique, and learn through practise the sorts of things that work to help stay healthy, and I think it's so interesting!
You can use Neem tree sticks too. Works the same.
Thanks for sharing our traditional habits
I heard that Africans got straight teeth because they chew on hard foods instead of Americans eating all heavily processed soft foods like hamburgers. That guava stick is actually perfect because it does not cause gum recession and does not cause enamel wearing as bad as synthetic tooth brushes.
Love it! ❤❤❤
What a wonderful natural way for mouth care. We should focus more on what nature offers us and use it. Getting away from the man made stuff that has chemicals and poisons and artificial coloring. Thanks for sharing this
Thank you for showing us. And no chemicals
I use a stick like this. It is way better for your teeth. I haven't used a toothbrush and paste for over 6 months.
Love love love love your videos
Great advice ❤
I love these videos!!! Thank you
Yes we use it to. In Islamic tradition it’s called miswak. Very healthy!!!
it is sunnah from prophet Muhammed as well, I should try to find and get such sticks.
Toothbrushes are good in their own way, but can be too soft
So cool. Thanks for sharing!!!
We used it that way too💙🥰
Rich in antioxidants too ❤
Thank you for educating us:) I hope to clean my teeth in Uganda someday.
I love you so so much and I am your biggest fan! ❤ I hope you are happy and healthy!

10/10
You are so amusing 🤣.
man that is so cool
wonder what kinda side effects you may get if u chew it too long or get too rough, i have a bad habit of doing that with a toothbrush
I live in America everything you tell me I am doing I cook on three stones. Now I brush my teeth with sticks, and I even smoke my clay water pot with fire. only one thing I can’t find is cow dung in Boston USA.
What do you use for floss?
For how long would you have to chew it?
Hello from Joshua Tree California!
Say, before you went overseas, did your teeth have plaque? When I was home, my teeth never had plaque. But now they have some, especially if I eat western food.
Our food is garbage, don't eat that. Buy ingredients you can work with from the store and cook at home so you are eating actual foods. They "feed" westerners the same way they fatten livestock and neither the people nor the livestock are healthy. Just look for yourself. Don't eat that...
Indians chew on this minty herbal semi sweet stick so Indians too have nice strong teeth.
we call it a miswak
Is there anyway to get that in the US? I'll pay...
Is this the same thing as a Miswak used traditionally by Arab countries?
Can I order these on Amazon?😂
Sister, if you have to pull that hard on the fruit, the Guava is not ripe enough. It should fall into your hands at a whisper!
