If your skin is not VERY white, you are suffering from low vitamin D (and that causes many other problems). When you read this, I beg you to find a tanning salon and go to it. Do not think about it or try to stay pale, just drive to it. Or fly to Florida or Texas or Southern CA. I almost DIED when I studied in London because this went undiagnosed by all the doctors. The thing that saved my life was that I was forced to go home for family problems. I slowly recovered.
Americans will tell you that it is a mental health problem, and that you need lifelong medication. This is not true. Nothing is wrong with you, it is something your body is missing.

@wildswan221 Tanning from UV light in solariums at tanning salons significantly increases your chances of developing skin cancer. Most of the UV light from tanning beds don't help increase your Vitamin D levels. Please don't run to a tanning salon just to feel good from feeling light.

My family sponsored a young Lady from Uganda while she was in school for a few years. Your videos help me to feel more connected to her in being able to learn about your culture and day to day life I know she probably lives in a completely different part of Uganda and so her village might be different, but I feel like I get an idea. ❤❤

I have what’s called an induction cooker that uses magnets and electricity to cook. It would cook a pan that size of potato’s 15 to 30 mins

Hello my dear, reporting to you from Monterrey, Mexico. I live in the city, but am originally from rural Mexico. I find myself missing my home from time to time. My mother, who lives back home , makes an effort to continue to share her love, for my siblings and me, through food. Sending us our traditional food, long distance, so that we can have a piece of home and her love, even if we are not there in the flesh to be with her. You arrive to me, just as I am making breakfast and cooking the food my mother has made. Thank you for helping me find gratitude. Gratitude in community, gratitude in food, gratitude in love. In Spanish we say "provecho". It's an adjective describing something that you're able to make use of, does you well, that is just what you need. May your meals be of "provecho" to you. And your loved ones. May we continue to experience love and joy, Joy, through the sharing of food. Sending you love and the warmest of hugs! Thank you!

We should try and see on Gas, Electric, and stone/open flame how long it cooks. OH AND OVEN. 😂😂😂 Im so curious. Also how soft and evenly cooked they are.
I'm going camping with my boyfriend. We can try open flame. I have Electric stove and my mom has gas. 😂 ima pitch the idea to them and we will do the open flame the same way. We have banana leaves.

What are winters like where you live Joy?
Winter is rain fall season in Uganda,,it consists of 3 months period and it's twice in a year. In total 6 months,,and other 6 months dry..divided..3 wet, 3 dry again 3 wet, 3dry ...arranged in that order .

I have a Q. In India, a lot of the villages are changing. Old homes and traditions are being replaced by a modern world. The village my mom grew up in changing too much. 😢 Is it same in Africa?
