I'm from the Philippines. I just quit my job in National capital Region-Bonifacio Global City where the pay is the highest in my country and relocated back to my hometown Pamplona in Negros Island and got a job in Dumaguete City atleast I can farm and work in the city at the same time. I am so inspired by your videos and other rural content creator. I just feel at peace in the mountains than in the city. Walking and living in the crowded city is not my cup of tea.
Oh wow that was a brave transition . And am proud of you . Peace of mind is so important and keep going and may u experience more seasons of joy and gratitude in this transition . Proud of you . I Wana visit rural Philippines some day ❤
You give a better image of Africa, self-confident, proud, calm, resonating with nature and more!!!
Your channel gives me so much joy and tranquility. I love seeing you living in harmony with the nature, with your land and cherishing your culture and tradition.
Living a simple life is a bliss!
Thank you so much!
This video was so soothing, thank you Aketch 🥹🌿 Please contine to share your peace and the peace of your village with us 🤲🏼✨
Wow what a beautiful and tranquil morning. The exercise, nutrition and time outdoors is just built into your morning naturally. This is how life was supposed to be.
Couldn't agree more!
Great video! I farm for a living and I always feel so spoiled having food that I grow. I dont buy tomatoes or melons or corn in the off season because it is such a big difference in taste and texture than the store. So many people dont know what these veggies are actually supposed to taste like they when are grown and picked fresh and for flavor!
Thanks for sharing! You are so awesome
Beautiful live, living in Uganda. I am from Holland. I met my husband on Holland. But he is from west-africa, Liberia. We have 2 girls and one boy. Looking at your video, i see it benefits raising kids in a community as in your village. I love the story's my husband tells me about his childhood in Liberia. Unfortunately he had to leave his country, due to the civil war in the '90. We live a good live in Holland and we are thankful. ❤ from our end of the world. Keep on trowing this beautiful video's into the world.
Yes me too its not a child labor ... its nesecity💙family routine.. just like washing the dishes🥰
Yes ❤
I love everything in your village, and the simplicity
Your channel is one of my favorites. You are an amazing human being and I not only appreciate your videos- I’m inspired by them to simplify. I have lived off-grid in the woods alone with no running water, electricity or plumbing. I collected my water from a spring less than a mile down the road. I cooked outside, bathed outside when weather permitted and I had my loo outside as well! I live in Central New York State US and the temperature gets down to about 10 degrees F in the winter. I loved it all.
Thank you so much . And thanks for sharing
Very peaceful and beautiful. Thank you.
Beautiful Africa. Beautiful Uganda. May God be always by your side.
This makes me so excited to travel and experience different ways of life. Thank you for sharing!
You should!
Thank you for the energy of sharing a bit of your life, for reminding the beauty of life and for your sense of humor ❤
Always!
Thank you, Aketch. Your village reminds me of my childhood at my Grandparents home in Stamps, Arkansas USA. The red dirt roads, wood burning stoves, gardens and pure life. I could almost smell the Juniper trees. I love you dress and the children. I, too, was a school teacher. Take care! Be blessed until next time.
You are most welcome 🤗
As a village girls myself, its so healing to watch your videos. there are soo many simillarities to zambian village culture.Soo beautiful
Children love to help out with all the tasks, like my son, if he wasn't allowed to help us do our work around the house then he would be so upset! This is a wonderful video btw ^^.
Thanks for sharing!!
I will learn how to grow and harvest food. Thank you for showing the beauty of it.
Beautiful video - your brother is so adorable 🥰🥰 and the little girls too. I laughed so haed whennyou showed the improvisation because you both forgot the covers. 😂 so smart. Thanks for always showing beautt.
This is a far the best real life story. I love it how simple life is though farming is a hard job. But no processed foods, make your own foods / tea. I am so tempting to try with firewood cooking. Time to find big rocks 🪨 this weekend.
These are my favorite types of videos from you. I love seeing village life.
More to come!
Her voice is so calm and beautiful 🥰
Best foods are indeed from your farm,, great content it is,,, excellent,,,
I loved watching this! I have spent quite a bit of time in Malawi so this holds a warm spot in my heart
That's awesome!
Beautiful as always...and the comments too
That was such a lovely peaceful video. Makes me want to spend some time away from the big cities. Love to you 🥰🥰
From India and can say yes our village life is so similar. And we are lucky to still have that kinda lifestyle that is a mix of both simple and modern.
I love seeing your life in the village. It's so great that you have your authentic life to detox from NYC and the rest of your global work. Whenever I see models dying from weight loss drugs or illnesses, I am thankful that you are healthy with your friends and family.
That industry needs detox every now and then .
This life seems very peaceful . I love it.❤
I have never been to Africa but I have always felt like if I ever do I’ll never leave. Thank you for sharing your life with us :)

So so so amazingly beautiful!!!❤❤❤❤. I love how you narrate your stories❤❤❤
I’m so thankful to have stumbled upon your IG page, and now I can continue to watch your content here. ❤️
Thank you a lot
Also in our home, no farm work on the burial day if someone dies.
Wow, that's so interesting! I didn't know that lemongrass also grew in Uganda, I've only ever known it as an Asian herb.
Pure bliss!
You're amazing! Please do keep up with doing these videos
Thank you! Will do!

They will grow up smart and skillfull.Such a joy to see

Beautiful, much Love from North Carolina
Thanks so much
When I was in my mid 20s, there was an island wide strike of govt. workers and water, electricity, bus and train services, police, fire and other govt. employees decided to hang tough for better wages. I lived in the countryside (recently moved from the city...I loved the countryside) and was told and taught by a village woman where and how to carry water to my home. I had to carry water on my head from a spring in the hills for about a week (morning and evening) down a path from the hill to sea level. Cliff on one side, dirt wall on the other. I was terrified the first couple of times but eventually got into the swing of it and had a blast after that. Met some wonderful ladies at the spring and they were amazed that the 'city girl' could balance water on her head. Good times.
Thank you for the reminder.
6:54 The question is: to whom?

@@AketchJoyWinnie Do u live in New York now or in ur willage in Uganda?
Loveley Joy❤🙏thank you very much😘😘😘❣️❣️❣️greetings from Germany 💐
You are so welcome
You too💞
Honest question because i don't know much about Uganda... Do you have issues with predatory wildlife when working outdoors? We have issues with various animals depending on where we're located. Snakes and coyotes in the desert, etc.
As a very visibly queer person I understand a place like Uganda will not be safe for me to go see, so I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to see what parts of your life you have been willing to share 🙏❤️
❤❤❤
Beautiful
Thank you
❤❤❤❤
❤
I'm so sad that I wasn't born there.
I last saw this channel with 600 subs and now 300k plus, is there any magic?
😂
If u need to walk for water u could take a small troley with u and u shouldnt carry heavy stuff. I hate to carry even if i need to carry it to the car or from the xar to the home. We have to do the same to carry plastic water from the shop. When i was a kid the tap water was very great. But our leadership dont bothered to renewing the water pipes under the dirt. So they put a lit of hypo to kill the bacterium and hypo is very bqd for human stomack . So everyone must buy water from the shop. In my childwhood we had waterpump in the stret and u can anytime stop and drink fresh water. The autority now lock it i dont know for what a reason propably they have interest that the people buy water from the shops. And they make profit 1.5 liter water here cost half euro or little bit more:S
Where are you from?

Say, the product links do not appear to be active links. I was looking at your mic ...
Have you thought about making your own fashion line? Or promoting one?
Oh they are not . I think they work according to location .
Thanks!
Thank you
@@AketchJoyWinnie much love 😍
To live close to thexnature is nice . To grow plants for urself is great! But its a shame on men leadership they havent modernizate the villiges with electricity and tap water!
💙😍☕️🌹
❤
The background whistling sound is terrible
I would give u electricity in ur home and introduct the water in ur home!
Child labour child labour, no it's not 😂. Yes please it's not 😊
The education is great, however the whistling in the background is very annoying.
Hahahhaa 😂
What whistling? Genuinely didn't even notice.
My grandmother used such iron in her childhood days. It ended with electricity. But I get why this would still greatly work in places without such convenience.
Some people in the Western world will never know how good food taste cooking a fire from wood and plant material.
I'm not trying to be ignorant I just wonder if solar Evan would work. Not from solar panels. There are many designs and one is a box that has black T-shirt around it and the food is inside the box. There are plenty of videos on RUclips about it.
🤗❤️❤️❤️🫶
