Well it's about normal Yugioh game and Duel links is way too slow compared to their og one. That's why people didn't like Duel links as much as normal Yugioh. Also it had "when" instead of "if"
Great video! As an extra note about the Abyss Actor cards, there is also a monster, "Abyss Actor - Comic Relief", which lets you basically get off any Abyss Script floating effect for free. During each Standby Phase, the card controller switches control over to the opponent, and when this happens, the card OWNER (not controller) can destroy one set Abyss Script card on the field. Basically, this means that you switch control of Comic Relief to your opponent, and then you choose a set card to destroy to activate its floating effect. Because the card is controlled by the opponent, you still proc its floating effect. It only works with Abyss Script Spell/Traps specifically, so it doesn't work with the Abyss Prop that was on this list, but it is still insanely good to have that kind of coverage.
As 1 of 1 abyss actor players in existence, the amount of resources you get from forcing a pop off the field spell is crazy. I’ve won many matches due to these even though the deck lacks most mechanics it requires to win.
Wait, each of Fantastic Theater's effects can only be *used* once per turn (which means only one use regardless of the requirement to activate it or not) so its conversion effect is once per turn right? Why did the card say "any"?

Honestly though if there's one thing about Yugioh Dueling that I think should 100% be removed from the game, it's the idea of a card "Missing it's Timing". If you activate the card correctly, and your opponent doesn't play a card that specifically says to negate your card, the effect should work.
Forreal..they could have implemented this in master rule 4.5,but I guess they “missed timing” on that opportunity. Seriously though, when I first started playing yugioh (in video games) I thought missing timing just meant that I missed the chance to press the right button to activate an effect of a card in a crucial moment, but it’s just a bs rule
If you remove missed timing you have cards targeting nothing, potential bouncing infinitely or locking a board due to some mandatory effects requiring resolution.
@@sliver170 for me, it's because the problem only exists on the Rulings level. It comes about solely through how the rules interpret card text, rather than a consequence of mechanics working as intended.
No Hysteric Sign? Searching 3 cards, including an hand trap that negates all your opponents monster effects for a turn, seems pretty good on a floating spell.

I really like how you don't just talk about competitively viable cards and how some cards would fit in poorly in a competitive setting etc. and instead talk about the applications for the cards in general it's kind of a breath of fresh air since it seems like most yugitubers talk about comp which I'm not the biggest fan of honestly Keep up the good work
he also mentions alot of the time when cards are good but dont necessarily have things to combo them together with, or cards that could possibly be really good in the future depending on if new support is released for their archetype, etc. Which is interesting information thats also separate from the meta.
Ooh. I think this is the first time where I think there actually is another card to consider for this list. Apple of Enlightenment. Much like the Abyss actor cards, it's locked to a... not so great archetype. In this case Valkyries. But it has the floating effect that: "If this Set card in its owner's control has left the field because of an opponent's effect, and is now in the GY or banished: You can draw cards equal to the number of "Valkyrie" monsters you control +1" Valkyries are quite a swarmy deck with ride of the valkyries letting you special up to 3 from hand, Sechste letting you special summon from the deck if it itself is special summoned, sigrun special summoning from the hand or grave if summoned etc. So it's not hard to have a full field of 5 monsters, turning the effect into a draw 6. (They don't have any extra deck monsters unfortunately, so no getting that 7th card). But +5 even if your opponent think's they're being clever by banishing instead of sending to the graveyard is pretty good and it doesn't even have to be destroyed.
I am a bit surprised that Jackpot 7 didn't make it on the list. Sure you need three copies of it to be destroyed in order to profit but it provides an alternate win condition.
"Top 10 cards that have no business being in newer packs" or something like that. In april over in the ocg, a card got released called "Koa'ki meiru supplier". It's ok, but definitely not enough to bring back Koa'ki Meiru, a long dead archetype
#2 reminds me of Card Of Last Will which draws 5 cards for an easy condition. #1 Completely forgot that it was a floating effect and thus didn't know what was #1.
In reference to Abysstainment. Off the top of my head (and this solely dependent on your op's board) Magical Musketeer Max can summon 5 from the deck if your opponent has 5 spell/traps
Toy pot has a good floating effect not only is it a good searcher but you can use it to reinforce your hand with additional draws with Furnimal wings cemetary effect
I feel like Jackpot 7 deserved at least an honorable mention here. While it is the hardest floating effect to proc properly for any deck as it needs all 3 copies to be sent to the GY by an opponent's card effect, it's also technically the best floating effect in the game as it outright wins the duel. Though, I guess it's not as much a floating effect as it is a separate effect triggered by a floating effect, I still think it's worth a mention.
2:49 Unchained Note: Abomination's Prison is not Unchained card and looks like Konami intending to have search card is not abused I mean it is better to name it same Archetype, what's wrong with that? Why isn't Hysteric Sign on here? The Kaiju one lets you draw 2, but Hysteric Sign lets you search 3 with its floating effect. If you add the search from its on field effect it's a +3 in card advantage. Yeah maybe it's a little slower because you can't activate both effects in the same turn, but it also requires your opponent to have a form of quick effect S/T removal on the turn you activate it for that to matter. If going by floating effect only it's definitely better than a few of the cards on this list
Whats with hysteric sign? Yes its not part of a very good archetype, but if you put all the abyss actors cards in here just because of their good floating effects, then this card is very good as well. Its a search 3 in the end phase that you can trigger by your self very easily. And it can searches one of the best handtraps in the game with harpie´s feather storm.
Unchained monsters are so trash that it doesn't matter if you can special summon them from the deck. Having to be destroyed by only your opponent is such a big downside compared to be destroyed by either player that the effect that triggers doesn't even matter. Even if it's draw 2, if you can't trigger it, it doesn't do anything. The only exception is if the s/t has a very good on field effect that forces the opponent to destroy it. Returning your opponent's cards to their hand is good, but only if you choose when to do it. Usually your opponent will clear your backrows asap, so this can get destroyed before your opponent commits to the board. Also, the Eldlich cards, although not triggering upon being sent to the gy, replaces themselves. They technically count as floating. They see competitive play because of their recursive nature, so they should be on this list. Geartown is good because it triggers even when destroyed from the hand or on your opponent's field. You can use Set Rotation to give your opponent Geartown, then destroy it, and you get to trigger the effect. Unfortunately both set rotation and dragonic diagram are limited.

I really like how you don't just talk about competitively viable cards and how some cards would fit in poorly in a competitive setting etc. and instead talk about the applications for the cards in general it's kind of a breath of fresh air since it seems like most yugitubers talk about comp which I'm not the biggest fan of honestly
Keep up the good work
he also mentions alot of the time when cards are good but dont necessarily have things to combo them together with, or cards that could possibly be really good in the future depending on if new support is released for their archetype, etc. Which is interesting information thats also separate from the meta.
Ooh. I think this is the first time where I think there actually is another card to consider for this list. Apple of Enlightenment. Much like the Abyss actor cards, it's locked to a... not so great archetype. In this case Valkyries. But it has the floating effect that: "If this Set card in its owner's control has left the field because of an opponent's effect, and is now in the GY or banished: You can draw cards equal to the number of "Valkyrie" monsters you control +1"
Valkyries are quite a swarmy deck with ride of the valkyries letting you special up to 3 from hand, Sechste letting you special summon from the deck if it itself is special summoned, sigrun special summoning from the hand or grave if summoned etc.
Off the top of my head (and this solely dependent on your op's board) Magical Musketeer Max can summon 5 from the deck if your opponent has 5 spell/traps
cybernetic overflow has a pretty good floating effect as well .. i think
Im disappointed Toy Vendor isnt on this list. It searches out the entire fluffal archetype
makes sense but adding to hand is weaker than summoning from deck
Toy pot has a good floating effect not only is it a good searcher but you can use it to reinforce your hand with additional draws with Furnimal wings cemetary effect
Top 10 amazing banned cards everyone forgot
Maybe you should rename this video to "Top ten Abyss Actors cards"
Smoke Grenade of the Thief is also a good floater
NOGA it’s also good in Harpie decks since their field spell can destroy it very easily
Imagine one of his videos saying "Did you know, only 100% of people who watch these videos are subscribed?"
Waking tha dragon is a great floating effect
I'm glad that percentage of subs per views is rising ❤️
Knew Fist of the Unrivaled Tenyi would be on the list but didn't think it would be at 6 :o
Top 10 troll decks
Only ever played duel links yet i love your videos
2:49 Unchained
Note: Abomination's Prison is not Unchained card and looks like Konami intending to have search card is not abused
I mean it is better to name it same Archetype, what's wrong with that?
You can see the Eldlich searcher have different name too, not including Eldlixir, Golder Land or Eldlich at all
I pour a tot for my beloved True Dracos my favourite YGOPro deck but Lightsworns are my beloved real deck.

Thanks!
Based on time, which archetypes have not received specific support
But good video. Thanks team
My abyss actor babies made it on a list!!
Top 10 Level 1 monsters.
I won't give up on this.
Still crazy how no one used breakthrough skill :/ like I feel like it still has so much potential
Whats with hysteric sign? Yes its not part of a very good archetype, but if you put all the abyss actors cards in here just because of their good floating effects, then this card is very good as well. Its a search 3 in the end phase that you can trigger by your self very easily. And it can searches one of the best handtraps in the game with harpie´s feather storm.
top 10 Abyss actor cards
Top 10 Spirit Monsters!
Fire formation domei needs a spot on this list
How do you play yu gi oh online(any simulators, games on computer)?
i feel like this should be renamed "Top 10 Abyss Actor cards" for some reason

'I dont wanna put multiple true king cards on this list'
Abyss actors archetype: Allow us to introduce ourselves.
This video should be called the 9 best floaters after waking the dragon
0/10 ignores ojamagic, which lets you go up to +2 in card advantage. Jk. Great list
The only thing I'm hearing from this ending is that Abyss Actor are even worse shit than pure Ojama to have this sort of ridiculous power and yet I've never even heard of them until today.
Another enjoyable list, DuelLogs, I have an idea for a (mini-)series you can do. I have RANK10YGO and False Swipe Gaming recommendations whilst watching this then after you went through the Abyss Actor cards, I'm thinking how did Abyss Actors do in tournaments? So the idea a series dedicated to the Competitive History of Archetypes in Yu-Gi-Oh?
That could be possible with a lot of research. That might be a fun idea for certain decks. Buuut I'm not actually a competitive player so I'd get a few things wrong, and early yugioh is just not documented at all so it'd have to be more focused on XYZ era decks and after.
@@TheDuelLogs It certainly would be an involved project, researching tournament results, combos and tech cards. You shelf the idea as a potential for the future, I'm happy you liked the idea.
Cards that got an errata in their names! Like: frog the jam and now it’s called slime toad
When i hear the thing about when is bad and If is good i remember the 2 minions of hades in hercules who says IF IF is good. Also out of curiosity did you ever think of rating some higher or lower depending on whether they could be destroyed by your own cards as well as your opponents vs only your opponent having to destroy them?
This maybe too specific, but would a top 10 "decks that can be used for playing Exodia" be an interesting video? Like with the Abyss cards that can bring 5 spell cards, can that deck be used to get Exodia? Milling 5 cards is really effective for that set of cards.
Urgent Schedule has a pretty good floating effect for lvl 10 machines
I think Tri-Blaze Accelerator reload needed an honorable mention for being a two card board wipe with 1500 burn attached to it
How the fuck can I get rid off ultimate falcon with my virtual world deck? Can I give it back to the hand?
where do you find that kind of cards? there are so many card in the game. its a good for new player to get a idea for making a deck.
Top 10 Field Spells? I know almost all of them will he from 2015 and beyond for the most parts, but still would he neat.
