    I agree with about the crown. It was the very first thing I noticed. It sticks out too far and is boring. Otherwise a nice watch. Thank you for another great video.

    I'm into but just feel the price is a bit punchy.

    I am sooooooooo close to pulling the trigger on the black one. I sway between the new black 38 Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M and this one. Your video was the final nudge to buy the Fears, cheaper than the Omega and not so common, let's say, more understated and more geeky, and I hope qualitywise not so far from the Seamaster. Thank you for you review!
    (The purple/pinky dial is cool but in my collection reserved for the 36 OP by Rolex... someday)

      The Fears team are also fantastic. Super friendly and super helpful. I'm all for supporting the smaller brands that appreciate you and your experience. You should try and head to their HQ for a tour too!

      The fit and feel of the Fears is comparable with the Omega. I've handled both and they're lovely. The Fears is definitely the rarer, left field choice. I much prefer the Fears as the AT polished surfaces can feel a little blingy

    Before you buy an aqua terra, find a vintage and good condition Omega Seamaster 120m (likely from Japan) - they come in lots of dial variants and the quality is next level. Can be had for around 1000-1500 USD as of July 2024.

    • @TheWatchBoxDiaries
      @TheWatchBoxDiaries  Месяц назад

      Also an alternative. However you'd need to be very careful regarding the water resistance. I love vintage but if I'm looking for a sporty piece to use, I tend to go modern for the reliability.

    Colourful little watch for the summer albeit with an awkward crown & brand name, but let’s be honest, it’s not the same league as an AT. Watch this vid, then visit Omega AD imho! 😀

    • @time_to_lume232
      @time_to_lume232 Месяц назад +2

      I've owned 4 Omegas and handled as many Fears. They are in the same league for fit and finish 🙂 the movement is not to the same standard, but then Omega has mass production and years of development on their side.
      The Fears is noticeably slimmer than an AT and it wears much more comfortably too (which is subjective, I know!).

    I have a feeling some of these reviewers aren't being objective enough. I've seen some reviews that just tear this brand's quality apart and then there are other reviews where they're essentially perfect and can do no wrong. It's very jarring.
