I've always told everyone to teach them while their young, loading them , we've also scraped their hooves, giving them a sense that helps them to be ready when you get ready for shoeing and trimming as they get older. I'm guessing this is why when our babies are ready to start training them they don't buck. We've had some wonderful babies leave us going to new homes.

I think it's a great idea for them to learn loading. Everyone has an opinion, but the bottom line is, you have to do what's best for your farm. What works for you may not be what works for the next guy. Great job Blaze!!!

Blaze is adorable. Learning early to get on a trailer is a valuable lesson for baby to learn.

You are correct on the affects of foal heat. Babies learn to load following mom, a good thing. Sorry no info on Garrett. There are so many scenarios. Continued 🙏🙏 glad Blake is doing well. Tacos and tamales are a staple. You were just 2 1/2 hours from us in Denton. We live in a much prettier area, tall pines, hickory, oak and more. Glad you jaded a good time. Take care ❣️🤗

BLAZE LOOKS HANDSOMELY CUTE !!!!!!!. AND LIKE MOST YOUNG ONES, HE WILL DO WHATEVER WHEN HE WANTS TO DO IT! AN AWESOME WAY TO TEACH HIM TO LISTEN TO MOM. AND SUCH PATIENCE YOU HAVE. EVEN IF YOU "RUSHED" HIM, IT WAS NOT AN OBVIOUS FORCE FROM YOU. LOVE THE VIDEOS AND LIFE'S LEARNING LESSONS FOR COLTS AND HUMANS. PATIENCE, COICE, AND LOVE.❤❤

Les sure is a handsome little devil, I was just going to call my vet now ask OK if it was OK to worm the mayor while she was nursing her FOAL my fall is seven weeks old today, and no one knew when we got her that she was pregnant but she had been wormed right before we got her about five months ago. I love watching your show. I always learn interesting stuff and you just seem to be a nice and kind person.

My first I got for Christmas 60 years ago was a Sorrell gilding that was 2 years old and I named him BLAZE because like your colt he had a white diamond, a strip, and a pink diamond on the end of his nose. It's a great idea that you load the young ones. Easier then than when that get big enough to hurt themselves and you to. Great job Little Blaze.
    Enjoyed the video.

There seems to be less stress on momma and baby loading this way. You're not tugging, pushing, pulling, wrestling this baby to get him loaded. It's traumatizing for them trying to force them in.
