- We love horse rescue and these 2 beautiful horses have turned into a favorite! They came from a loving home that wanted them saved from the Mountain Lions. Kindness and her baby horse Apache Gold are loved by all of us! Today, Apache Gold has a new learning experience. We know that tug a war doesn't work and if he has a solid base I would be in trouble. Come along as Apache Gold gets a halter on for the first time and starts learning to lead. Horse training on a baby colt we love!

I sincerely wish I was in a position where I could take Kindness. I love her torbino pattern.
And Apache Gold.
Kindness would be a nice pony for some lucky little horse crazy girl! They are both beautiful!
I think so too!
He’s a smart colt, he looks like he will be a nice horse.
Alan you were wise to put a chute at your place to help you work with the horses. Good Job there Alan putting a halter on Apache Gold.
Beautiful Momma and baby. If i lived closer and had the money I would love to give them a home. I love watching your shows and love your horses and family. God Bless you and Your family.
Two beautiful animals
Beautiful butts and sunset!! They are both beautiful! Yes Apache gold is very smart!! ❤❤
❤ Please like and Share ❤ We want to continue to watch this Beautiful Family ❤
Kindness has such kind, sweet eyes!❤
They're both beautiful horses---it sure would be nice if a mustang enthusiast would get interested in this pair. With sound training these horses can do amazing things.
You have the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. It looks like the sun was going down to the right and there was a rainstorm on the horizon to the left.
We agree!
JHeart Quarter Horses just ties them up for a while. Once they learn to respect the halter, seems they learn to lead quickly.
Thank you for showing us how you start the leading part of training. God bless you from Port Huron Michigan ❤
he will be a good horse. really good looking.
Clear swat works great for flies around eyes and in ears and lasts for days. And for fly repel on wounds
I think the baby is a grulla too
I think Apache Gold is a character. He likes to run around.
I wish I was younger I would love to have both of them. I think both are beautiful.
Smart baby!
Beautiful pair. Apache Gold is so cute and a smart little fellow.
Hi Alan! I was just at FSY last week, and I even took a picture with you! I just wanted to say how cute Apache Gold is, and I wish you the best of luck in training him!
Sorry Alan I forgot about the mountain lion , I was so glad you were able to take mama & baby. Thats so sweet of you to help the woman out.
Beautiful, beautiful peacock mama, so beautiful and so is Apache too little to drag a lead rope and a halter it could very well have a bad accident just because you haven’t had one. Don’t mean you won’t have one prevention is the word.
You can get a camera that mounts to your shoulder or to a hat. Then your hands are free. I love watching your videos
Thanks
Cute baby
Cute horses ❤
Apache Gold is very beautiful. I guess I never heard how old he was. We have a little silly who is a GRUILLA, who looks to be about the same age and I love watching your progress and techniques so that I can pass them on, but I don’t want to do anything too early. It’s funny you showed this video today because when I went out to the Corrals today our little Philly, pretty much was covered with manure in the same way I wiped her down with a really soft moist cloth, but I didn’t actually get her wet but she does not mind getting wet. She does not mind being sprayed with her spray. She put her halter on with no problem. She’s a pretty sweet and smart little girl she has already been practicing her sliding stops. It just comes to a naturally, and she seems to enjoy it. Anyhow, I really enjoy your channel you know what I don’t understand if people have negative things to say to you all the time why do they even watch your channel but that’s OK cause I’m sure you need the viewers.
Thanks for the update on the lovely Kindness and her beautiful Colt, Apache Gild. Of course we hope you find them a great forever home but it’s a lot of fun to see them on your farm!
Beautiful little colt moma watching him. Lovely video thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it
Hope you're home for awhile! Very nice looking mare n colt❤❤❤❤❤
He is adorable
They are cute.
❤❤
He is adorable, poo and all 💕
Mama is so beautiful 🌴🤠
I was concerned about Arizona's wildfires. I gather you aren't where the threat of fire is a big concern now.
Still a big concern but we don’t have many trees near us
@@TheFarmonRoute66 if you had been my bishop my life would be so much better now. I walked into temple recc. interview worthy, walked out shocked and horrified, and have never been okay again.
He is a pretty little boy. Just love him. ❤
They are a beautiful pair. The colt is really doing good.
Darn can’t hear you. I a restaurant and thought I could enjoy. Will try later. 💜💜💜
Gold is a buckskin that dorsal stripe is a characteristic of a buckskin
❤
Manure, rub spots and all - Apache is a beautiful boy! Lovely lineback dun color! PS - mom and baby both could use a bath!
Welcome home dude!
Who is that Alan? New baby!?🐎❤️
You need a tripod so you can set your camera down.
They are a nice-looking pair. He will be leading soon too. Did you get some dewormer in him?
Yes
A grulla is a much darker all but black
Is it normal for apache gold's privates to hang out like it does?
It has been my experience (4 colts so far raised or in process) yes it is normal. Maybe not him but all 4 of mine live with them dangling...
@@katherinwalter1826 thankyou
@@kathywilliamson223 I have just started putting videos on RUclips of my babies...@sassybrattfarmquarters... also have a few on of my studs playing with their ball.
If kindness was broke to ride lol people would be fighting over her, she is beautiful, im not a know it all, but why dont you just leave chee's halter on, and not drag the rope id worry about him wrapping ness in it and himself ..? Any ways ..he looks like he might change colors a bit as hes older, , ( kinda like when they are born solid and roan , or born sorrel and turn dark bay, ) do you think his colors will change?
Could the foal's bald spot come from parasites or what is going on?
I don’t think so
I am not a horse person but just wondering if you can do your own fecal egg count without a vet?
🤷
@@TheFarmonRoute66 I didn't mean to insult or anything, I just know we try to confirm parasites before we treat so resistance is not built up, but we have lots of vets around. I have seen the procedure done though and it doesn't look all that complicated. I am also guessing you don't have the same parasite pressure there.
He is a mess , will u give him a bath ..
Yes
