I just find the accent and face impression very calming. An absolute treasure of a video, very rare!
Thanks for the video 😊 I'm about to go work there on a project for few months. Before watching this, I had no idea what the country was looking like. I like how you make fun of people there while they are making also fun of you 😂😂 But I think you have been lucky ..
Thank you for making this video. I plan to visit Bangui in September 2023. It was pleasantly surprising to see you walking around and making journeys on your own. This gives me some assurance that the security situation isn’t perhaps as worrying as I had thought it would be. The scenery looks as beautiful as I imagine it will be. And the people, as throughout the whole of Africa, so incredibly friendly - if perhaps a little suspicious.
From my perspective, it seems that the UN and the EU arrive and throw money around to hire enough Africans to protect their own corporations in resource extraction activities which mostly benefit Europe or North America. It seems like such a beautiful country.
I adore Africa. I've always been intrigued by the not so visited untouched places in remote Africa. Central African Republic certainly leads them, as it's smack bang in the center of the African continent, like the name suggests. I appreciate your efforts in braving to explore this unique nation and I look forward to do the same sometime hopefully sooner. If not for the civil war, there are some beautiful natural places here like Dzangha Sanga National Park, St. Floris National Park and more. Hope peace and prosperity returns soon by God's grace to this beautiful nation !!!!!

You’re right
That country can be so much more if they had the right leader and good government.
And money.
It will always have the same people though, it's hopeless
@@ericw7916 I'm sure China would appreciate that
@Tony poundbury, true, but to be honest all countries could be so much more, if they had the right leaders and the right goals. But unfortunately one true fact about government and people in power is this, once in power you will want to maintain that power and keep that power, by any means necessary.
The country can be much more if France gets the hell out and leave these people the hell alone instead of fomenting terrorism and wars across Africa.
I am really amazed how French colonizers managed to teach all the people of this remote rural country to speak French back in those days...
they built churches and primary schools
Yeah, churches and schools help them learn the language.
Best video of this country on youtube 10/10
Thanks, it is hard to find footage of this country online.

What a beautiful little girl at 12:47. I love this video and the people!! You are a respectful and brilliant videographer Jay and I love all of your work. Thank you for knowing that all humans deserve full respect.
Thanks, I spent a lot of time editing the videos.
CAR had been under french colonial grip for 400years and is still under french monetary colonial grip as we speak :(
You are very brave . Good video

All I heard him say was negative things seems to me you want to talk bad about Africa but remember you went there and we don’t appreciate you’re negative Africa is beautiful 55countries #I love my African people
Right? His twist on the episode in the Taxi came across rude, arrogant and condescending

What an incredible adventure - can't believe you just wander around on your own but it is fascinating to see both the inner city and smaller villages in the countryside. As you often find, the people have true character and it's amazing to see them getting on with their normal lives in such difficult surroundings. Keep on travelling man, hopefully things will be back to normal soon!

Very interesting. Thanks for going there and putting this up. CAR is a remote country hidden in the mid of Africa. I always wanted to go there. It looks even worse than Burundi or DR Congo. But they have amazingly nice churches. Hope vthey can recover someday from all this mess

Try and visit Africa. Too much in Europe and America.
Anytime bro. I’ll keep posting
24:17 5 Cents for 6 Mangos?? Damn!! I should import Mangos to Europe 🤑
The ones we get here in Europe are usually garbage, specially the ones coming from Central and South America. Way too early picked, garbage. However, in may-june we get decent quality mangoes from Cote d'Ivoire, Senegal and Burkina Faso for about $1.00 each. Those are the only decent mangoes I get to eat here. If you wish to start a business with mangos take me with you, I'm a fanatic of good mangos, but not sure how much we can actually import if I'm going to eat most of them. :))))))))
It would be better to help locals to do that
Yeah, they were so many mangos in CAR.
Your video actually very natural and I like your voice and the fact you were nice to everyone around you and they been nice to you

Thanks for the compliments and for sharing what you though of my video.
Thank you for the video, I am impressed by your French. CAR has three problems, 1 landlock country, 2 French interference into local politics and 3 the corruption of the politicians.
I grew up in Bangui I was gone for 35 years or more I can't believe what I saw 3 years ago civil wars totally destroy the country. I have hope for better days head for the country and people of CAR.
God bless you
What do you think can be done to permanently stop French interference in CAR?
Thanks for your comment and explanation.
Just come across this Channel and this travel vid is amazing. I’m going to embark on my first African Country this August, first stop will be SA and with luck on my Visas, crossing fingers, hope to traverse further North.
Thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks for watching. I hope your trip goes well.
Every persons has a smiling face and those who spoke English are fluent in it. I'm so impressed
I was impressed too
Literally I had to watch video twice 😁 I don’t understand French (English subtitles 😉) but it was fascinating to see conversations with the women outside the church, talking to guy carrying woods on his shoulder and talking to a guy who presumably works at palm oil processing facility. I just find the accent and face impression very calming. An absolute treasure of a video, very rare!
Thanks. My French is poor, but I manage to still communicate with the locals.
Thanks for the video 😊
I'm about to go work there on a project for few months.
Before watching this, I had no idea what the country was looking like.

Thank God for Namibia 🇳🇦
Yeah, good country
Thank you for making this video. I plan to visit Bangui in September 2023. It was pleasantly surprising to see you walking around and making journeys on your own.
This gives me some assurance that the security situation isn’t perhaps as worrying as I had thought it would be.
The scenery looks as beautiful as I imagine it will be.
And the people, as throughout the whole of Africa, so incredibly friendly - if perhaps a little suspicious.
Just ask the locals. They know which areas are okay and where to go or not to go.
I'm sad that our people in CAR are languishing yet resources are going elsewhere.
From my perspective, it seems that the UN and the EU arrive and throw money around to hire enough Africans to protect their own corporations in resource extraction activities which mostly benefit Europe or North America. It seems like such a beautiful country.
It’s sad
Thanks for the nice video. I wish you showed us how the classrooms look at the University you visited.
Sorry, I forgot to visit the classrooms.
In dose country, everything is overloaded
I see. I just wasn’t used to it.
Yes, I thought CAR was the most unique and original of the African countries.
