- Since 1994, ACRONYM has amassed high-profile supporters and collectors, including John Mayer, Travis Scott, and Drake. 26 years later and a laundry list of collaborations with Nike, Burton, and Stone Island; Errolson Hugh and Michaela Sachenbacher are still at the height of their game. This is how ACRONYM launched a new niche market and brought cult street style to the masses.
Good intro to the brand particularly as you mentioned the importance of Acronym as a consultancy rather than just a manufacturer (they were also consulted on the creation of Arc'teryx's urban-focused line Veilance and Tilak Poutnik). Looking forward to seeing what the rest of this season has to offer and hopefully picking up another piece or two to review on the channel 🔥

But I do think that he haven’t rly brought out pioneering stuff for his own brand since 2017-2018. The thing is they are also a design agency so prly some stuff u like are heavily influenced by them

The only issue that I have with ACRONYM, and other design houses is the sizing. I’m physically fit 6’3” & 265 lbs guy that typically wears XXL in tops and 38-40 in pants but can never find “couture” in my size. There’s an untapped market for us that mo On my way! is willing to dive into.
check ou enfin levé. similar styling, similar technical fabrics but it's all made to order. you can literally get the pieces tailored to the last detail. price point is also significantly lower.
For the pants you could check their „ultrawide“ pants like the p22/p27/p30 but of course there are way more of this type of pants just these three as a reference...
These cinch down from oversize so you could go for the lengt and they should still be able to fit you.

@@kjui4827 Lost its design identity. No longer innovating within the brand or genre. manufacture now in china to save money. Cheaper goretex (thinner, less overlap safety) and materials. Construction quality noticeable lower since '18. Acrnm's presence in hollywood has taken a lot of time (for a great amount of money of course) and the brand itself has suffered. Also the end of multiple collabs probably stopped the filtering of "less good" designs, which all bled into the main brand.

@@TheEternalEast Frankly i don't know. Its been pretty disappointing since 18. The quality won't come back and the prices won't come down. So unless the Tech/Functional comes back in force, i don't really see the point. We'll see in 21. You can tell the current lineup is not working by the amount of stuff still available on the website, too.
